Today I found that a friend of mine actually has purchased A314. Problem was he didn’t like the smell of it. He told me it smelled almost like old sweat t-shirt (that has been left too long in the training bag).
Could he have gotten a bad (don’t remember the word) “shipment”? Or has anyone else the same experience?
He’d thrown his away, so I haven’t smelled it myself.
The scent is Akuto and is the best scent ever in my opinion! He should’ve saved it AD would’ve refunded him if he wasn’t happy. Have him smell yours and see if it is similar.
People do demonstrate a wide range of responses to phero scents - Some will find they smell awful, whilst others will smell nothing other than the carrier scent at all. Most sit somewhere on a range between the two extremes though.
Androtics batch control and tracking is pretty strict so it is unlikely to be a bad batch.
What YOU think smells good isn’t what others think smells good on you.
Personally I think I smell bad after a workout. The gf thinks I smell great.
Likewise I think A314 and IJ smell pretty dirty after a while. Doesn’t stop girls liking it.
You should have been quicker offering to take the A314 off your good friend 
I just can’t believe that there is a bottle of a314 in the garbage somewhere.

I know what he means by the smell being something like a humid stinch when first applied but that weakens quickly.
I really don’t smell anything except akuto but, different or younger noses probably smell more.
Not quite accurate -
A314 contains Akuto plus a proprietary blend of all natural fragrances/musks/oils/etc.
Because we use natural ingredients in the scent package and the blending process is so intricate bottles may vary in scent.
Also your friend is sensitive to androstenone - which can smell like sweat. Its rare to be able to smell it through A314 but he should have shook the bottle better and asked us about it.
But wow, throwing out something that cost over a hundred dollars instead of seeing what may have been wrong? I wish I had that luxury.
I friggin’ love the smell of A314. Whenever I apply it I always take a whiff, it just makes me think…I AM MAN HEAR ME ROAR!!!
Seriously, it is such a masculine scent IMO. I have never received a bad comment about any of the scents that AD offers.
I like the vibe A314 helps produce, so I grin and bare it (okay, I cover too). However it does remind me of hippies intermingled with a hint of ass, armpit and headshop incense.
Ass? Wow don’t hold back and tell us how you really feel. 
I suspect you’re one of the few that can smell the molecules over the scent. -none does have a body musk scent.
Haha! Yeah, could’ve saved me some money and kept it, but I wasn’t exactly in to pheromones untill recently :-p
It definitely has a strong scent. When I first opened my bottle and took a whiff… Whew! But that goes away after about 10 minutes and I don’t pay much attention to it. I do a very gentle shake of the bottle every morning just to make sure things are properly mixed.
Of course I only use it on the inside of my wrists while I wear my usual cologne on my neck.
first couple times i smelled it I thought it sort of smelled like rubbing alcohol, but the smell grew on me as I used it. I woulda dove in the trash for that bottle hahaha and possibly smacked him if he was my friend hehe
oil-based A314 Akuto is one of the few scents I like from AD…but again, scentless versions of your products might be the way to go in the future.
A314 truly is your flagship product and lifestyle cologne. Difficult to replace.

I wanted to add that with the latest bottle of A314 i just got, I’ve noticed a definite change in the scent of it. Maybe I am more sensitive to the molecules in it lately, but it kind of reminds me of the smell of salicylic acid in Compound W wart remover. I only used that product once…back when I was a kid, but the memory of the smell stuck with me. It’s just an observation really, but I do remember A314 smelling much nicer before…almost like it had real expensive fragrance in it.
For some reason (though I’ve only used the sprays,) A314 reminds me of Dr Pepper in a cologne.Not a bad smell, just unique to me xD
However, Michelle seems to loooove the smell of it on me.
