Second day using A314, I’m walking across a side road when some idiot in a tricked-up Subaru Impreza barrels round the corner without looking. He screeches to a halt about a foot from me, and he and his friend give me the evil eye.
I evil them back, as I carry on walking. One of the guys shouts “c_nt!” at me from the car - and I stop, and turn round, and go back toward them.
“I had right of way, my friend,” I said, relatively calmly, with a smile.
“F_ck off, you c_nt!” was the reply. “Oh, f_ck you too,” I reply, again calmly. And then I start walking away, looking over my shoulder and still holding eye contact, as they scream obscenities at me. They look like they’re deciding whether to get out of the car and make it physical, but in the end they screech off up the road.
Two things:
- They would have beaten me to a pulp if they had come after me. They were huge thugs, I am a small guy and was on my own.
- I never do this. Really. In the words of the song, I “walk away from trouble when I can”. I’ve been in two fights in my entire life (won 1 lost 1).
Could my reaction have been from the A314? It was all really out of character for me.
I know exactly what you mean but not to the degree you went through with those thugs. A314 seems to give you a false sense of bravado as I have acted out of character myself a few times while wearing this. It seems to make you more fearless and assertive where usually you are not.
The confidence and the feeling of control self effects are positive but sometimes when wearing A314 I cannot help feeling am I overstepping my bounds in certain circumstances.
I bet you are glad they did not get out of their car.
Your reaction wasn’t too extreme. They seemed like a bunch of punks, and they were just looking for a fight. I would say that the A314 might have caused you to respond in a way you normally would not have due to the increased confidence. But, A314 would not have caused them to behave aggressively at that distance.
I agree with Tommy, and I would like to state that the A314 effects increase greatly when you use more. I used 3 drops of it (1 drop under my nose) and I felt like I was a king. Not to exaggerate but I felt as if I was untouchable at work, and even told my boss that she wasn’t my boss but only my coworker. It went well, but the point that I am trying to make is that A314 definitely will make you overly confident, and in some cases its not the best thing, as was in yours.
