A314 and the international set.

I’ve had a few more involvements at work recently, so its time to get updating.

The first involved my being asked to play a role in a very important meeting between the head and senior management of my org and the head and another senior guy from one of the world’s top five business schools. Our place has just signed an agreement to provide training via them for their own and selected execs from this part of the world. So fairly high powered stuff.

My pheros for the meeting were A314 UFE, three drops - one to each wrist and one split each side of neck. Cover scent - CK Eternity, fully suited.

I arrived at the venue for the meeting and met the head of Public Affairs and her colleagues for a brief rundown - I was to be working with her, the big guns and the press, whilst her colleagues would handle the various entourages. So we prepared the room and went for a coffee till the main players arrived. The discussion at over coffee was about all the work my scientists have given her and how much more I could do to filter information to them.

Then we went down to meet the car with our partners and were introduced to two friendly, alpha guys with superb presence. We ran through their presentation and the agenda, then introduced them to the journalists. Then our head arrived and he started his publicity stuff. All went smoothly and once finished, I ushered them through for the signing of the agreement.

Each of the various entourages gave a brief presentation on their part of the agreement and how they proposed to implement it and again, the Biz School people were head and shoulders above our folk in terms of presentation, impact and efficient communication.

Then the press were brought-in for photos and the signing etc then our head had to leave to meet some passing bishop or other. Leaving the Biz School guys to myself and the PA head. This is where the wheels started to wobble a bit - They were late to leave to catch their flight and there was no sign of the car. She and the attendant pa began to panic a bit and stall overtly. I said that I’d go and find it and took-off, whilst phoning the firm. As I thought, the car was here but sitting outside another building. A few mins later, I arrived, in the car and saw the guests off with many thanks for getting them away. PA boss also thanked me after they were gone.

Interaction across the event had been very friendly, free-flowing and professional with no great concern when I needed to get stuff sorted.

I’ve not written-up two other events yet but tomorrow, I’m working a reception with a senior diplomatic representative from the German government, the head of one of their major multinationals and the head of my org - a notoriously grumpy codger, except when I’m wearing A314 about him apparently.

So far I’m considering:

3/4 drops A314 UFE
3/4 drops A314 UFE plus 2-3 sprays IS 2x
3/4 drops A314 UFE plus 3 sprays P74 10mcg and maybe 2 sprays IH 2x
3/4 drops A314 SBE plus 3 sprays P114 10mcg

Any opinions guys?
No IJ tho - I don’t want to get sacked on the spot!

OK, so I went with the A314 SBE - 3 drops, plus three sprays P114 - To great effect.

On arrival, the receptionist assumed I was one of the guests and ushered me to Admin’s plush waiting area. I had to remind her that I was staff and working for one of the PR girls that night, so she called upstairs and my boss for the night came down to see us.

Then the two guys from the section sponsoring the event arrived. Now I only know them to see but I didn’t need to introduce myself, we just started talking about plans for the night.

Then the caterer arrived and we went into the room, to find that nothing had been set up for us, so the three of us started shifting the furniture and setting up the various tables. In the midst of all this, the senior one said to me - “I believe we have someone else coming along to manage the press and photographers?” I replied - “Err yes, that would be me” About this time, my boss arrived - bringing me a mug of coffee!

Over the next hour, the invited guests arrived and corporate representatives arrived, along with the subjects for the awards, so the four of us set about keeping conversation going and introducing everyone to everyone else.

An extremely attractive young woman from the German Consulate quietly told me that the guest of honour was stuck in traffic! He eventually arrived - in a rather impressive diplomatic BMW, with a boot full of excellent wine and a flunky to pour it for us - Joys of politics!

Shortly after, a rather harassed-looking woman in a low-cut purple dress arrived and introduced herself as the partner company’s PR person - She then hit me with a long and detailed list of the photo-ops and publicity requirements for her firm, whilst all the time leaning closer and closer to me until her chest was in contact with mine and she was staring right up into my eyes - All my boss could say was “Oh my, she’s a bit pushy!”

Anyway, the event proceeded, wine flowed, speeches were made, the politician was charming to all and talked lots about international conversation and I got the various reporters/photographers to the appropriate people.

Meanwhile, my boss more or less stood in the corner looking-on.

Then as things began to wind down, I sloped off for a smoke and found myself in conversation with the wife of the local mayor, who was also hiding round the corner - Turns out she is from the same town as my ex and we had a good natter about that place.

All-in, superb social interaction, no hitches and I could see the commanding properties of the A314 in the way people just did as I asked, whilst the P114’s properties seemed to ensure they were very happy to do so.

Today, I have had emails from PR and our Partner’s purple PR woman both thanking me for my involvement etc.

A testament to A314 UFE maybe?

Doing a Billy Connolly impression for me!

Three drops.

Today’s event was quite an interesting one!

My bosses played it very close to their chest when booking me - all I knew was I had to look after and take a few photos for an outside events comany with a small group of visitors who would be listening to talks, then having some small group discussions over a period of around five hours. No detail on what it was about but the PR cheif seemed to be happy enough with my usual “OK, I’ll make it up as I go along,”

So I suited-up fully and applied 3 drops A314 UFE - neck and between my wrists, with CK Eternity as cover scent and set-off to the venue to be greeted by three big and surly security men at the door, who wanted to see my invitation and search me - however, I more or less walked straight through them with a “sorry guys, this is my hall and I want to know who you are!”

On announcing myself at the front desk, the organiser looked me up and down in surprise, then announced - " I’m so glad you are sensibly dressed, this will be so much easier" So I finally got to know what the whole thing was about. It seems I was lumbered with a delegation from one of the former Soviet Republics, including a senior government minister, reps from some of their major national development companies, UK diplomatic and governmental representatives and industrialists who were invited to bid for various contracts to that country. And I had said I’d make it up as I went along - Yegods! :open_mouth:

Shortly after that, I got briefed on the rest of the requirements, then the Minister arrived and was whisked upstairs whilst I got-on with getting the various speakers sorted-out with the tech guys for their presentations.

Then the Minister came down and I must say he was very impressive - Not a big man but a huge, controlled, commanding but impassive presence, total natural Alpha! He turned that hall into his personal space in seconds!

As the press were not invited to this one, one of the requests was that I take a few photos of the proceedings for their record and as the Miinister delivered his keynote sppech, he turned and fixed me with a look that made it pretty clear my time was up and I should now leave him to get on with it, which I did. After the speech, he then sat and resumed his impassive stance whilst his countrymen got on with it. Each contribution was recognised with a brief smile or glower, depending on how well they had done. One poor guy totally faffed-up his talk with too much technology and seemed to come-in for pparticular distain. So much that the Minister turned nonchalently in his chair, to talk to one of the other hi-level reps and the audience reaction was like they had just comitted some gaffe in his own living room! :open_mouth:

At another point, I was photographing a speaker and caught him staring hard at me out of the corner of my eye and just for a second, he flashed a small smile and at the end of the formal bit, they all posed for pictures and he seemed more relaxed and pleased to be posed with the various dignatries - At one point helping me move some kit out of the way to get a better picture. The security guys meanwhile were looking-on in horror from their various vantage points. Phew!

Then we removed to another room set-up for individual discussions and I saw they were all seated in the alloted places and matched-up with the relavent industrialists - absolutely no hitches here and no problems from anyone over being told where to go etc. Minister and co were meeting others in a room on their own.

So I spent the rest of the time moving through the room getting photos of the various groups which should please them nicely.

As the event wound down, I spoke to the event company organiser and found out a bit more about what they were doing for the rest of the visit and how to get the pics back to her - So I’ve been invited to bring them and come for a drink at her hotel tomorrow night - she is actually not bad looking too!

And here he is - In full flow!

Just got the news today that a colleague whom I have done a lot of work for, on scientific and publicity aspects has landed yet another major award.

Looks like all that A314-lubricated networking pays-off!

Whatever happened to hand delivering the private photos?

Sadly, she was not back at the hotel when I turned-up with them. Oh well!

Just been told about what is possibly my biggest WTF moment with A314 yet - coming-up this weekend. I never got these jobs before I started using it.

And I have been told that I’m going to get to handle the whole thing by myself! :open_mouth:

Well, I have been run ragged since 8am this morning and I am currently sitting facing five members of the leadership of one of the UK’s political parties who are engaging in a series of discussions on matters of scientific policy, research and education in the UK

How the hell did I get asked to host this lot? I’ve always been the dogsbody of our Public Affairs operation - the guy who gets called-in to help out or to fill-in on the smaller jobs that nobody else wants to work.

However, since starting with A314, I’ve been asked to do more and higher profile work than ever before.

So today, I am wearing three drops A314, on neck and each wrist and my interaction with the politicians and organisers have been quite excellent.

Interesting follow-on to that big dinner I worked last year.

It seems we have been selected to host one of the teams for final training just prior to the upcoming Olympics and I have been told to expect some work with them.

Last year I looked after a foreign theatre group as part of our cultural exchange work.

Yesterday, I got a phonecall to tell me that the troupe invited this year have asked for me by name. It seems they have been in touch with last year’s director who told them how good I was.

I was mainly using A314/P74/IH at the time. Maybe take the same approach again?

11 am yesterday, I was looking forward to nothing more than a quiet afternoon on my microscope.

Then the phone went and it was the PR boss asking if I could help out on some outside interest PR. So I said yes and spent the rest of the afternoon in a bar with a pleasant but rather overwhelmed young gent, a lot of booze and a succession of TV crews, radio and newspaper journalists and other interested Friday people!

So, if the idea takes-off, you heard it here first - World Whisky Day was floated-out on a goodly amount of decent malt and three drops A314!

Not until we all learn to celebrate world rum month first

I think I did my bit for that on Saturday night. Finished a nice bottle of spiced!

For most of the last two weeks, I have been busy with the German theatre troupe I mentioned a few weeks ago.

And once again, it was a right heavy-going play, full of murder, suicide and emotional wringing-out. What is it with German theatre?

So I concentrated on the mix that seemed so fruitful last year, which was:

A314 oil - 2-3 drops. Temples and wrists
P74 - 10mcg in Akuto, 20-40mcg. Neck and forearms
IH X4 - 1-2 sprays. Throat or each side of neck
Heavy Ammo in F22 - 2 sprays.

After the third rehearsal, I settled on 2 drops A314, 20mcg P74, 1 spray IH x4 and 2 sprays Heavy Ammo. The only other variation was that for the final dress rehearsal and performances, I switched to A314 SBE, 2 drops.

Well, pretty quickly, the director - A guy in his early 30s, thought the sun just shone out of my arse as I organised his technical and staging requirements and got them handled by the tech team who once again had decided they wanted as little to do with the play as possible and would only deal through me! So in a staged manner, I got them to provide the resources with as little grief as possible. We fell very quickly into an excellent working relationship with superb communication.

The assistant director was a tall, dark haired moderately attractive woman of around 30, she seemed to get to like me very fast and hung on my every word, smiling and displaying plenty of good IOIs as I got her requirements sorted. In fact after our second session, I often caught her watching me more intently than her cast. She would also make a point of stopping to chat at the end of each session.

The rest of the cast were mostly younger actors - Mid-late 20s and a mixed but pleasant crowd, whom I got-on very well with, altoug I only had significant dealings with one of them - A plump and vivacious Irish/German girl in her mid 20s, who was taking a narrator role and was spending most of her time with me and the director in the control booth. Extreme fallout would probably be the best description of her response and she became my shadow for most of the rest of the performance. She also did plenty trips out for me to get coffee, sandwiches etc and once she found out about my having visited Ireland a lot in the past, she was never short of a story or three!

After the final dress rehearsal, the assistant director invited me for a pizza with her but the Irish/German girl caught wind of that and ensured that if we were going, it woud not be without her and a couple of others - Once that was decided, I found a polite excuse and bailed!

After the successful first performance, the champagne was opened and during the small party, the Assistant managed to get me down on a small couch with her but nope, my shadow was right there and sat between us, monopolising the conversation. And she did the same again when I got talking to another cast member (tall attractive blonde) later in the party - Did I mention fallout!

After the second performance, I got talking to a German colleague from another site and within a few minutes, she was flushed and saying “Its getting so hot in here, aren’t you feeling it?” - nope!

I managed to get a word-in edgeways with another girl in the cast who had managed to bash her head the night before when some of them went out for a drink and although I think she was still slightly concussed or in slight shock, she was hanging strongly on my conversation and leaning-in closer and closer to me as we stood there talking. Hmmm!

So all-in, another successful couple of weeks!

And an even bigger WTF moment! - This is unquestionably the biggest yet.

Tomorrow, the PR Boss, another of the PR senior staff and I will be hosting a very high-placed and prestigious guest. And there may well be a chart-topper in tow too!

I am spending this afternoon brushing-up on etiquette the language of formal address! :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

It will be the UFE tomorrow!

Well, despite not quite having found the words to write-up the last job, I now find myself sitting on a big leather couch in a very plush room in my best suit, waiting for the head of the UK’s Financial Services Authority to arrive and give a speech - And fallout seems to be evident as a lady has followed me through from the room where his official reception is happening and she’s smiling and catching my eyes often!

A314 UFE - 2 drops, temples and wrists.
Heavy Ammo - 1 spray to throat.
