Don’t ask me how it happened!
But my A314 just got contaminated with tap water, about 4-5 drops seeped into the bottle.
The first few drops afterwards appeared to have lost their oily nature and dissipated in a matter of seconds after rub-testing them. However, oily nature was restored after that. However, scent has not been yet, as 2 drops usually go a long way in terms of scent for me.
How bad is it guys?

My guess is its gonna be like salad dressing. It will be a while before you can get the water all out. Oil and water dont mix but oil weighs more so when you flip the bottle a little of the water may come out but you will get mostly the oil. It will probably take a few uses to get rid of most the water in there.

Don’t mind that actually, as long as it’s going to be piped out. Was mostly worried about water and deterioration of pheros, as well as dosage. Guess i’ll up it by one drop to be on the safe side

I wouldn’t worry too much about increasing your dosage while you get the water out. While it IS possible to OD on A314, it takes quite a bit, and at 30 years old, you could probably handle as much as 5 drops without any ill effects.

I would still worry about deteriorating pheros. Unless it was sterile water. Better make a bee line to use that bottle up. (But not overdose… just use it.)
Somehow thinking of my own bottle suffering the same fate i kinda felt sad, sad as funeral service kind of sad.
Aikss.. but luckily its nothing big according to tisha. Do let us know more info of the condition and the results of it whether it is affected or not as it can provide some other user some heads up if this ever happens to them.
