A314 Oil in an atomizer?

Has anyone tried putting the oil version of A314 in a spray bottle to see how it does? I would guess it might clog the atomizer and/or probably not work too well if at all but does anyone know what actually happens?

Please no speculation. I can speculate on my own and have done so… I’m curious if it has actually been tried and would like to know the results from someone who has actually done it.

Cheers
Kodo

Needs to be diluted with alcohol, otherwise it just sputters.

Idle experimentation with no result, have also tried adding A314 to IS but didnt really work.

Best to leave oil preparations as they are.

I’ve done it. It turned out to be the only way to make Rev31 work.

I diluted Correction - 20-25 drops into 5ml in a togo and the effect and longevity was similar to the /b spray. Which confirmed my suspicion that it was not the base-A314 mix that was faulty, instead the problems lay with the scent/diffusion-promoting components.

I wouldn’t do it with any other Rev though as they work just fine and last longer as they are.

One or two other guys have diluted oil into smaller quantities for short-term mixes with varying degrees of success and a greatly reduced longevity in all cases.

Oil on its own won’t go through a typical sprayer.

Needs to be diluted pretty heavily. I tried with PI just to see what becomes of it because it’s just something I don’t use anyway.
When I tried adding one spray of cologne to each drop it just gave sharp squirts. Had to go with three sprays of cologne per drop to get application somewhere near what you expect from a spray.

I wouldn’t risk ruining perfectly good A314 that way.

Yes. Try pure perfumer’s alcohol. The hydrophobic mones won’t like vodka. 314 spray is great for attraction. Oil isn’t, IME. I don’t report these much anymore due to backlash. But, hey, try it. I just don’t want to be branded a 314 Heretic and burned at the stake.

Make you own oil mones: Any dried, high-impact spray under 314 oil drop(s). Little chemical difference in a mone concentrate dissolved in oil and a dried spray with a miniscule oil covering. He who does not experiment, despite the controversy, does not invent…while the world elsewhere marches on. It is not 2011 anymore. Competitors release new beta sprays weekly, because they are willing to challenge the status quo. I will continue to make a difference here, until I can’t, then I too will march on. But I won’t stand still, and neither should you.

Start with two drops per TOGO, then add diluent. You may need to use the full .5 + mL of diluted product. The absence of added surfactant makes it tricky, and scented PA may work better. The only thing I’m reasonably sure about is not using drinking alcohol, due to its proof (water) content. I do this not because the 314 spray is not already excellent, but because there are no fragrance choices for it. I want ultra-light neroli or akuto. Preferably neroli. If they offer it (or maybe not), I’m going back to sprays this summer, just because 314 spray is so good. I would love to see new oils and new sprays, and even use some of these tests to actually make new consumer products. I will be forgiven, hopefully, for not holding my breath.

Cool thats awesome… Just the info i was expecting/looking for. You guys covered all the bases and answered pretty much any followup questions I might have had. I figured it wouldn’t work straight in a sprayer, and I don’t plan on diluting into a spray but its nice to know that I could if I needed/wanted to in the future.

You guys are awesome. Thanx a million
