A314 Oil scent

I have a question regarding the scent of A314 oil version.

I have the spray version and it smells very nice, but it’s strong. If I use it with AMMO it’s very overwhelming.

So, does the oil version have the same intensity of smell as the spray? For instance does 1 drop of A314 oil smell as powerful or 1 spray of A314A?

Thanks

Oil carriers by nature are less diffusive and therefore scent is less pronounced than a spray: fewer molecules airborne. That’s part of the reason it lasts so long but is less intense than sprays. The current A314 scent reminds me of headshop incense (old hippies) and soap with a slight undertone of ass and sweat. Not a nice or strong scent but it is easily covered my cologne or a dab of EO. At the worse you’ll smell like a Dreadful Dead fan for a few hours. I spray cologne directly on it and that almost zeros out the hippie essence.

Gegogi, just the answer I was looking for! I was wondering if spraying cologne over the area I applied mones will change the affect or not.

Thanks gegogi.

I know it kicks in slower and lasts longer, but would you say the oil version is less “efficient” at its peak than the spray?

Well, it might cause the diffusion rate to increase, so that’s something to keep in mind.

Personally I like the a314 scent. shrugs to each their own I suppose.

I like the scent too. One of my ex college roomates did really really well in the ladies dept. and I find that A314 smells almost 100% identical to his cologne. Im almost suspicious if he was using mones with the kind of reactions he used to get from girls.

A314 I’ve worn at close to 5-7 drops. The scent goes away after a while.

Layering an alcohol carrier over DPG might change the diffusion a bit. Usually I stay away from the app spots for A314 and when I do wear cologne it’s not on the spots I applied it.

Not just might, but absolutely would. You would just have A314 1.23A

I guess I am odd for happening to very much like the smell of Akuto base or maybe its that those who don’t like it are just tasteless snobs who have no real sense of style or class . Of course it could also just be relative to the individual . Akuto and Game are the only two scent products AD carries that I ever get compliments on. Of course everyone has their own preferences which is why the parfum industry is as big as it is.

I’m certainly not a big fan of clary sage. It was the biggest turn off when it came to Spaceland for me. I couldn’t get over the scent so my option was to not use it. Which is quite funny when you consider 1872 cologne
Amazon.com: Clive Christian 1872 Pure Perfume for Men - 30 ml: Beauty @ $1400 and guess what Clary Sage is a primary note? My point is that it’s relative to the user.

I have an ex who loves Chanel, not because of the smell, rather because what it does for her with the guys she meets. She said anything that can get that kind of response from men, regardless how much she hated the scent, was something she would wear frequently. However if you’re self-conscious about a scent the best thing to do is not wear it because your lack of confidence will over-power the best of anything.

I tell of a similar story when I used to wear IFM. Because of patent law it had to come unscented and I always believed it stunk to high hell. You can read about the whole experience here: An Introduction to Mones: Names, Size, Strength, Use, Effects & Duration - #12 by SteveO but to sum it up I forgot to cover it. That day this really hottie blond told me I smelled amazing. Go figure. If you can overcome your own self-conscious you might be surprised by the results you get. And that my friends is my reply

Can you remember which cologne it is?

Guys the A314 spray is at 6% strength, and A314 oil is 0.33% correct (very little scent I’d presume)?

Not which revision but it was one of the mj colognes. Just like

“MICHAEL JORDAN by Michael Jordan 3.4 Men’s Cologne”

I happen to think A314 has a nice akuto smell but after about an hour or so it smells a little more sweet imo.
