Hey all,
I live in Michigan and it will be getting pretty dang cold here in the near future… I was wondering what differences I need to make in the amount of pheros I use compared with a mid to high humidity summer.
Not much really, during the cold winter days and months here in California when everything is covered I still use my main area of application which is my neck. Some like to spray it on clothes and neck during winter, so it all depends. Diffusion will probably be slowed down a bit unless you have a hot body temperature or move around a lot. Where as in hot summer days the pheromones may evaporate quickly which is why I sometimes apply a thin layer of body oil right before my phero applications to make them last a bit longer (hopefully, not sure if that even works though.)
ok, so I will be able to wear the same amount of stuff for a longer period? However the effects might not reach out as far as usual?
thanks
Something like that yes, but keep in mind that it all comes down to body heat as well. Everyone has different body temperatures so it will depend, but they should fly off the skin. Then how far they travel will now just depend on the winds, weather, and proximity of the targets.
I’m just coming out of winter down here and I’ve experienced a few diffusion problems that I’m looking forward to warmer weather helping out with.
I’ll also be curious to test whether or not I can lower the dose given diffusion should be better.
The one thing that may be useful for you to bear in mind is that you’ll require longer exposure time around targets, so don’t get discouraged if you don’t see as many “fly by” hits. I haven’t really had one of those in months…
