Hey It’s currently winter in Aus, and I seem to notice that the pheromone molecules do not difuse so well in cold weather(especailly oil based products), maybe due to moisture in the air??
also I noticed the scent/fragrence is much less noticable and dies down real quick, if I don’t use enough no one can smell the scent on me, unless they sniff my neck!
so what are some good spots to apply pheromoens in winter for maximum diffusion?? should I increase my dosage?? I wear long sleeves all the time, and I can’t apply pheromones in my hair because I have really oily hair type (I have to wash my hair twice a day with shampoo).
Heat increases diffusion on your body by the evaporation of moisture, so naturally cold weather is going to put a hamper on it. I’m not familiar with the climate of Australia during the winter-- is it humid and rainy? I live in the Pacific Northwest in the States, and rainy and cool is pretty much the order of the day year round, with the exception of a short, dry, and hot spell we’ll get in July every couple of years. I mean, here we are in June, and it’s long sleeve weather outside now at 1:30 AM. Back in Georgia, I’d be comfortable in shorts and a t-shirt this time of night during this time of year.
So, with winter, of course, comes less skin exposure and less diffusion. You’ll definitely want to increase your application, starting with a factor of about 25%, and then up to 50% if you don’t see any results. The problem you’re going to face is not where you’re generating enough heat to help diffuse. Unfortunately, those places will be covered in clothing. So the best places are probably going to be your palms and the backs of your hands. Your palms will be a hotspot, since you’ll naturally be keeping your hands closed for warmth, but there’s the danger of your pheromones wearing off just by handling things. So, I’d go with the backs of your hands, and maybe a little between your fingers.
Otherwise, your neck (all around) and the backs of your ears will probably be best. Maybe even rub a little on the inside of the “bowl” of your ear, but I’d avoid the actual ear canal. Not sure that would be a good idea. Don’t spray directly there, but maybe spray your neck and wet your fingers from the spot and rub it all around the cartilage area of your ear.
Winter is just an all around difficult time to use pheromones, unless you spend the majority of your time indoors. In that case, wear as normal, with maybe a slight increase of dosage.
You could wear the pheromones on your wrists, too. True, you’ll lose some onto your clothes, but not all this much.
I have this problem when I ride a motorcycle- I’m covered from head to foot. I usually wear the pheromones on my wrists, cover them with relatively airtight gloves. A little bit of the pheromones end up on the gloves or jacket. So I just take those with me and the pheromones are no doubt going with me. If anything, I think the jacket slows down the diffusion, and the wrist application keeps me from being “self-effect gassed” in the face from wind. As long as I don’t get bone-soaked, it seems to work OK even when I take the jacket off- most of the pheromones stay on my arms when I go indoors, and I think the effect length is only slightly reduced vs. wearing them on naked skin.
So something like gloves + wrist application might work out for you. Just watch androstenone because it will build up. My gloves now smell a bit like Ammo, for instance. And leather is hard to clean- I never “clean” my gloves per se, so that is an issue, buildup.
I think keeping your skin moisturized couldn’t hurt too in a cold climate, the grease/oils would trap some of the pheromones on your skin instead of going straight up into the air. Maybe an oil like A314, Raw Power, or Scent of Eros would work better, too.
That’s sooo useful. About as useful as the rest of your posts. I usually don’t announce it with such fanfare when I have to take this unfortunate step, but in your case I’ll make the exception. Welcome to my ignore list.
Not at all… I’m sure wearing some A314 down there might attract some sycophantic brown-noser’s, right? … but I doubt it would do anything for somebody in a cold winter
Humor is all about context. The overall tone of the thread, up until now… has been serious. K24’s post didn’t sound the least bit humorous or jocular. And, it helps when you deliver a joke in a thread to help somebody as well, otherwise it is at somebody else’s expense. There are so many communications barriers to a “text-only” medium like message boards that a person’s humor will not come across always (right Mark-in-Dallas?)
OK, back on topic… I’d be curious to hear from others how wearing long shirts or jackets affects their pheromones.
Afraid I dont have time to read the previous posts, hence you’ll have to excuse me if I repeat any advice already given.
I do wear mainly sleaved tops, so I usually apply on the wrists, however, I have especially cunning little trick that is useful in this case. This will usually only work with loose sleaves by the way, you’ll understand why in a second.
For example, lets say I’m on a date, if I want to initially give off an impression of openess/fun, I’ll apply instant shine/openess to my wrists. To my forearms I’ll apply a shot or two of Ammo (although, I’d say its even more useful for turn up the heat), and when the right time comes, I roll up my sleaves and smack, add the sexual component.
I’ll also, say that due to the forearm pheros being ‘smothered’ less gets out but still a little escapes keeping the sexual tinge there. And as the evening progresses, you expose them to your more none based products. It’s worked quite well for me, and give the whole date a more natural feel to it, since if you apply halfway through the night, they are gonna get all the sexual pheros in one big shot. Plus if you re-apply the ammo after this point it will build progressively instead of dumping a load in one go (sorry could phrase that any better ).
The 3 main reasons you cant wear tight sleaves are:
1- it wont provide you with that little diffusive amount you want at the beginning
2- You cant roll the damn things up without struggling and looking funny
3- You’ll end up with your sleaves, absorbing alot of the pheros
Hey my man, first of all I see jokes all around the forum evry day. As long as there is nothing bad said as far as bad language I don’t see anything wrong with it. Life without humor is boring my man. You should try
it sometime.
and about your question about pheros with jackets and long sleeve shirts I would have to say it doesnt matter if you spray the pheros on your neck and face. It even works out better for me that way.
Would that be because you are sweating more and normal/natural pheromones are being excreted in higher levels?
Or because the “target’s” nose is warmer and moister thus resulting in better reception of the scent?
Either way it will be ~80 and 90% humidity this weekend for the local singles party, we shall see what happens.
I think it has to do with the moisture in the air trapping the molecules and carrying them further. I used to live a few miles from a Purina dog food plant, and on dry days, you could barely smell it in the morning when they cooked the stuff, but on humid days, it smelled as if you were standing right beside their ovens.
