There is a post about the DAS
or “dysfunctional attitude scale” … for reasons we don’t fully understand, those persons who score high on the DAS may be attracted to cult involvement or human potential movement trainings where there are rigorously structured behavioral norms. My observation is that some people who appear to be high DAS attitude types, see:
https://pheromonetalk.com/t/psychological-profile-tool-for-das/82
have difficulty with openness, loosened forms of interaction, being “natural” is perceived as disobedient or overly lax, say with authoritarian personalities, always follow the party line organization people, those with overdependency on strict adherence to religious tenets, people with a lot of must-do believes or should-do beliefs, (basically obsessive and compulsive rigid personalities)… or those with paranoid mind sets, i.e." if I relax I will be taken advantage of " mentalities, can 1, begin to relax and feel comfortable, less internally ordered around, more organic and free flowing in the presence of the right pheromones, then, 2. abreact by activating a defense wall because those qualites that one would normally experience as positive, interesting, life enhancing in a well balanced personality may be experienced as threatening, foreign, or somehow forbidden to a strongly authoritarian, paranoid, or obsessively rigid personality. IMHO, rigid mind sets, however you want to label them, feel off balance when de-rigidified, and their “solution” to feeling suddenly un-rigid is… what else ?..more rigidity, better rigidity… more better rigidity… uptighter more inflexible better more rigidity… like a muscle that is overstretched then goes into a cramp that intensifies its own cramp response… no phun 2 B like that…
