Greetings and like that. Recognized many of the monikers from the LS forums and thought I’d drop in for a swim. The waters are a bit more crowded here.
I might try some of the ExperiMones once my pheromone supply runs low. I prefer to roll my own and have been playing with the LS chemset alpha androstenol, beta-androstenol, androsterone, androstadienone, estratetraenol, androstenone and androstanone for the past couple years. I’ve hit on a half dozen mixes that work well for me in various situations but am always looking to try something new and promising.
I find the ExperiMones consentrations puzzling. I’m used to specs according to dry weight dissolved in the carrier (e.g., 5mg 'mones dissolved in 10ml of alcohol). ExperiMones list the amount of pheromomes per spray–this is difficult to translate. So I’m not sure what concentration is nearest to my current supplies. I’d like to stay in the same ball park since I’ve worked out the combos and ratios that work for me. If the concentration is really different I’ll have to start from scratch again.
Normally I mix a tried 'n true ratio of several pheromones with my fav cologne in an atomizer. I prefer fairly concentrated pheromones so the cologne scent doesn’t get too diluted. Well, anywho I imagine I’ll figure it out one way or another.
he gegogi and welcome to the bigger pond as you call it =). Yea actually love scent is great and I’ve tried a few of their products before but so far I feel that androtics is better at creating effective balanced mixes. I’m not very familiar with the experimone line but I’m sure you can ask some experts who can give you some helpful hints on the concentrations.
Welcome Gegogi, glad to see you here! The full-size spray products, including experimones, are in 30 ml bottles with 200 sprays per bottle. Hope that helps you calculate concentration! Have fun.
I have been wondering how the heck to get you over here, and since I will no longer post at Love Scent, I was in a bit of a quandary. I guess someone gave you the heads-up, so three cheers for that person.

Hey what’s up gegogi…I’ve found that Androtics’ products in general are more effective than what’t offered on LS, however for one that is willing to experiment with highly individualized mixes, this really is the place to be. There is a far more expansive number of individual experimone and putative series pheromones that have been touched on here, many of which have shown great results and promise. There are a great deal of other angles to take with pheromone use here, outside from the standard androstenol, androsterone, androstenone, androstadienone cocktails offered on LS.
As far as measuring mixes goes, like carrie (silksand) says, each AD bottle holds 30ml of fluid and contains 200 sprays. So to figure the pheromone content per bottle, multiply the phero content per spray, times 200.
so at the default experimone concentration of 2.5mcg per spray, you’re looking at .5mg of pheromones dissolved in 30ml of alcohol.
The products here do use quite a bit more carrier fluid than LS, although this makes the smell of the pheromones makes themselves better, while also allowing the the diffusion (dispersal) of them into the air. Fortunately the spray bottles are far easier to measure with than the LS droppers, so its far easier to ‘dose’ things with them.

the thing i like most about the smartmones store is that you can order individual ingredients at differing concentrations. like you, i like to create my own spray version of Scent of Eros. all i do is order a bottle of 10 mcg/spray 'Androstenol and a bottle of 2.5 mcg/spray 'Androsterone. i then mix equal parts of each in my own atomizer and i have the 4:1 ratio i am looking for. i consider this my ‘soup stock’ that i can use on its own or create other pheromone recipes with.
Got some interesting new toys to play with here at Androtics. And we know you have a wonderful testing ground, plenty of experience, and know of what you speak.
I’ve had better luck with the Androtics antrostenol and androsterone type products over the LS ones, but the jury is still out on the combo products (Ammunition vs Chikara for example) [Yes I remember your opinion on scented Chikara…] And I am real impressed with the A-1 “replacement” IFM.

Cool, looks like 75% of my old Love Scent friends are here. I known Sigma well–great custom mix advice–enjoyed Ail’s witty comments and remember Rbt as well. The noser, thanks for the tip. I’ll try it when my Androstenol 'n Androsterone stash runs dry. Seems less expensive here if you nail the right concentration.
Other than the raw pheromones I don’t know jack about the products here. Looks like plenty of new stuff to get me in trouble. And that kind of trouble is the best kind…

I too look forward to hearing your views on the mones here especially any new putative pheromones and experimones. I kind of get sick of the same old products containing Androstenone and the like being talked over 1000 times so I like playing with any ‘new molecules’ which are active to see what they do and what benefits they may bring.
