Alrigh' all ye Sassenachs an' yanks an' other folky types!

Hey all, nice to join you! The name’s Euan (yeah, I was a bit unimaginative with my username :stuck_out_tongue:), I’m an 18 year old software engineering student from Scotland (hence the title >.>‘). Ayrshire lad, but living in Edinburgh for uni (attending UoE). I’m white caucasian, as are both my parents and likely most-or-all my ancestors (clans on both sides), just shy of 6’, ginger, and probably medium build. Although I always seem to have pretty hefty (as in, muscle) legs - guess it’s all the walking.

I found PheroTalk in a rather odd little chain that leads back to a BT advert, funnily enough. Folks in the UK might remember the recent one where they encouraged folks to vote on “what happens next” online. I ended up watching the “story so far”, saw BestMan.co.uk on it, thought I’d have a look for funsies, there’s a link there to attractant.co.uk, googled for reviews of that, found this thread and here I am!

Personalitywise, I tend to think of myself as a bit on the shy side, and lacking in self-confidence. However, some of my friends will tell me I’ll be the loud guy at the party - usually just when I’m starting to think I’m being fairly relaxed and open - and a random girl at a club once told me that something I’d said was arrogant, although we were both quite drunk, and couldn’t think what the hell it was I’d actually said. I suppose I might just swing from extremes - avoiding the dance floor or talking to folks, then going way overboard once I start - but I don’t think I’m very good at judging myself. Yay, social ineptitude!

Activities and suchlike, I do archery and shotokan karate three times a week each, and drop by the gym on occasions. Living in Edinburgh means a heckuvalot of walking/cycling up and down hills to get around, too. On the less physical side, I’m a massive geek, so play video games probably a bit too much (although increasingly less, surprisingly), and tabletop RPGs increasingly more often (yeah, I play DnD. Well, not actual DnD, but that sorta thing). I also like me films and TV, and I’ll sit down to watch just about anything. My taste in music is pretty damn varied - as a rule of thumb, anything aside from dubstep I’ll like.

I’m here primarily for consumer-aimed mones and advice thereon, although if and when I have something to contribute I’m always more than glad to do as much.

What am I looking for? Well, just about anything. I’ll admit to being a little bit skeptical, but I’m also suitably open-minded that I intend to hold off on actual judgement until I’ve tried mones myself - I’m definitely hoping they’ll work, just some of the claims I’ve read in posts here seem a little on the “aye right” side. I go out clubbing sometimes, usually with a group of friends (guys and girls, sometimes just a handful, other times a whole crowd of us, like that Spartan night…) but sometimes flyin’ solo, so something to give me an edge there would be shiny.

I suppose I’m most interested in something for daily use, to boost confidence etc. From looking over the SmartMones site, I’d guess A314 is probably the best bet, but being a student I don’t exactly have loads of cashy moneys (yeah, you might notice me speaking like a spacer sometimes - blame Firefly >.>) - maybe Instant Openness and Instant Shine would be a good starter? I’ll likely get a couple To Go bottles at first, for the whole self-convincing thing as well as price, and perhaps justify more expensive stuff eventually maybe.

Work might be somewhere worth thinking about too - I’m aiming to nab a part time job for my second year, and I’m currently working a summer job at Brodick Castle tea room (more a cafe, to be honest). From what I’ve read so far, I suppose A314 is again the one that really jumps out at me as the one to buy, but I haven’t had the time to read over the advice forums in any depth yet.

I think that’s covered everything? Not sure. Anything folks want to ask please feel free  Great to be here and meet you all!

Pretty good description, and that’s great that your open minded.
Actually attractant (androstenone) and IO should always be part of your arsenal as they are used for a variety of things, and they’re pretty good standalones. I’d say pick up some attractant and To-go’s of IShine, IO, IH and maybe even some TUTH for some sexual encounters?

Hello Euan,

Welcome to this exciting world, I am sure you will be an active ‘resident’ of this forum.

Great Introduction!

Pheromone products will make you have a fun time with people, break barriers quite easily. People around you will also respond positively. For this, you can try the INSTANT series of products, namely Instant Openness , Instant Honesty , etc. This should act as an ice-breaker and make them ‘eye’ you in a different light.

After which, you can start with AMMUNITION which will set the tone really well, earn respect and project you as trustworthy.

Once you have made good with a girl, you can spice things up with TUTH - a sexual pheromone, to take it to the next level. But try only when you are in a comfort zone. It is quite effective and you can go through the numerous threads available here. Many have tried and have also shared their experiences, which I guess will be a starter for you.

One again, a big welcome.

Jai.

Thanks for the welcome, folks  I’m thinking for now of nabbing a bunch of “to go” bottles - IH, IO, IG, IShine and ammo - so I’ve got some supplies to try on their own, and later mixed. I’ll maybe nab some to go TUTH as well, just to cover all bases - IG is A314 lite, sorta, from what folks are saying, yeah? Basically all the “to go” except IJ (cause…I dunno) and Mystery Boy (cause I’m straight). Should I maybe get some CTTM2 to go as well?

Aye Euan, good to see a fellow Scot on the board.

Ken your part o’the world well, my Da was from a wee bit north o’you and I’ve spent a lot of time in Edinburgh over the years. Nearly upped-sticks to live there a couple o’times.

I was also a real skeptic about pheros in the human context to begin with but my experiences with first lesser pheros, then Androtics products have changed my mind altogether.

Read, learn and act is the best advice I can give you - There is a load of good information and experience in here.

Oh and work hard on all aspects of your behaviours. It all adds up and pheros are only part of the story.

And if I’m past Arran soon (which I might, I’m off to a festival on the west next week), I’ll be by for a cuppy.

Welcome to Pherotalk Euan!

I think most of us started off as skeptics but the fact that you made a post expecting to get a $25 gift certificate to try these mones proof that somewhere in the back of your head you believe that maybe, just maybe it might work. :stuck_out_tongue:

I know all about extreme personalities and luckily I have instant sexiness a and b to help me with that.

As a woman I can play the shy role and get the Alpha male which I prefer to notice me.

In your case as a man women expect you to be the aggressive one.

The products you mentioned getting I totally think will assist in your situation except IJ.

When using products like A314 you have to get out of your shell and put yourself out there or it doesn’t work. Confidence is key, even when you are not saying much your body language should speak the language of I am the coolest guy alive.

Your gc was issued.

Woo, another Scot! The number of forums where I end up being the only one… :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for being most welcoming folks  I’m definitely thinking that mones might work - just there’s another part of me saying “nah, too good to be true”. Here’s to proving 'em to myself! Lots of advice to read up on in the forum, and muchos gracias for the more tailored advice too - I think I’ll start with "to go"s of IShine, IO and… ammu or IG? Student + still a grain of salt = brain just can’t justify spending about £40 after using the starting credit and GC so I can buy the lot (though not IJ or whatever t’other one was, since I wasn’t planning on getting 'em anyway).

Oh yes, and thanks for the GC  $25 just for saying hi is absolutely brilliant and very generous, not to mention the $5 for signing up to the shop. $30 credit for an initial buy? Legen - wait for it - dary!
