And the hits just keep coming. . . . Txfox's Journal

I’d love to see some more from you really. I read your journal all the time and like I tell everyone, I might not always get a chance to post, but I still read. Please come back and start reporting some more. I like the ladies journals section because I get all my tips on how to interact with you gals from it.

I second that motion.

Aww I feel the love  I am exhausted. I will get back to reporting regularly as soon as the Texas Renaissance festival, and my fall semester are over. . . Fall is always far too busy for me.

Reclamation Mix and Shennanigans

OK. . .so
Texas Renaissance Festival: Check
Fall Semester: Check
Holidays: Check
Brithday: Check
Beginning of Spring Semester: Check
WEIGHTWATCHERS GOAL: Check
let me repeat.
WEIGHTWATCHERS GOAL: Check

total, I lost 72 lbs. But I was having a hard time with who I was still seeing in the mirror (intellectually I knew I was done losing, but visually didn’t quite see what I really am. . .(which is a 5’10 size 6-8 with a killer rack and who looks 10 years younger than she IS) So I took steps.

  1. bought new jeans that really show off my ASSets
  2. When not at work started wearing a more sexually charged mix of mones.

My Fiance has been very supportive in all of this, and I even tell him stories about funny “hits”.
Started a class on Tolstoy 2 weeks ago. . .noticed the younger guy from the “catcher in the Rye incident” from my first ever journal post was in the class. . .but sat on the total opposite side of the room. Guess he graduated and is working on his masters now. Didn’t pay much attention beyond that.

So, last Thursday I was out shopping, went to lunch with a friend, and had about an hour of downtime with the fiance before I left for class. . . was wearing:
2 sprays Instant Shinex2
1spray IOx2
2 sprays IS/b
4 drops EoW
Saint by Kat Von D

I was running late and I thought I’d probably end up being the last one into class. So I get to class and there aren’t as many people as the week before (these grad level Lit courses weed out fast) and I sit down, leaving an empty seat between myself and this one girl I sort of know because we are using the same wedding venue as well as both being in the program) she asks me about something wedding related (I think it was cake) and The guy (from the Catcher in the Rye Incident) comes blowing into the classroom and plunks down between the two of us, looks at both of us and says. . .“I don’t want to hear shit about weddings.” So I say, “well then you shouldn’t have sat directly between the two girls in class planning weddings.” He shrugs but stays where he is.
So I sort of get it. She and I are both “off limits” and somehow “safe” at the same time. . .he flirts with us differently though. . .he picks on her, makes fun of her, ridicule’s her intellect (though to hang in these classes you have to be pretty sharp.) He cracks little self-deprecating jokes and compliments me. . .strange. . . Like. . . “You know, your earrings match your eyes. . .and your pen and your (chuckle) engagement ring” (I was wearing tsavorite earrings, writing with a green pen. . . and the ring is my av.)
I flubbed up at one point. . . he said something about not every girl having an appreciation for Star Wars. . . (I just happened to be wearing THIS shirt John Lennon is Darth Vader | The 10-Minute Ramble) So I turned to face him and said “look” pointing at the graphic on my shirt. . .he gets this funny look on his face and I basically realize I just commanded that he look at my tits. . .and I say “um at my shirt”. He sees and says “Oh. . .that is SICK. . .see if you weren’t getting married. . .” and trails off. So through the rest of the class I see him continuing to sneak looks at me and as class ends I just get up and leave. . .but he somehow catches me in the hall and we take the stairs down to the ground floor chitchatting about movies. . . at the bottom of the stairs, you have to pick with side of the building you want to exit. . .I head left, he starts to head right then turns and goes left instead and continues talking. . .At the parking lot I say “see you next week” and quickly turn and walk to my vehicle. . .where I basically crack up laughing because I can see that he has now had to walk back across the parking lot from taking the wrong door. . .lol
I told all this to my fiance when I got home he thought it was pretty funny too.
Yesterday, I was wearing the same mix as the previous day but with Sinner instead of Saint. . .on the way to class I stopped to get a latte, and as I got to the register the cashier said “Whoa!” I said “What?” he looked embarrassed and said “um nothing” The little gay barrista that I always chat with says “ok that was funny. . .” to me. . .still not sure what happened exactly.
I really do intend to get back to reporting and telling stories regularly

Love your style of journal and wanted to subscribe. Are you still using the 314?

yes, mostly at work. . .

Just made an order hehehe want to get back to testing and reporting. ALSO. . .job interview Wednesday. . .for a better job than where I am now, (better company, not commissioned sales) but mostly a lateral move . . . but the success that even getting to work for this company represents is kind of a big deal. . .but more on that later.

Good stuff out now! What did you order, Txfox?

I wonder if you picked up TAH and TAL…

Or any of the 'golden molecules?

Having a ‘big’ name of where you worked at on your resume is great for the push up to bigger and better!

Marathon post re: A314 and student confrontations.

I’m not going to make empty promises about reporting more often . . . I’ll be honest; I don’t really have the time. (Nor do I feel like my current workplace is an appropriate place for experimenting.)

I tend to stick to the “tried and true” for work. I’m teaching composition and literature at a community college. (I’ve been there a little over a year now.)
From the time that I started to roughly the beginning of this past Spring semester, I didn’t touch my 'mones (with the exception of one day/confrontation.) There are a couple of reasons for this. . .

  1. Now that I am working in my chosen field, I seldom have the money to maintain my 'mone habit. (I’m doing what I love, and getting paid peanuts.)

  2. Anything overtly sexual is RIGHT OUT. My first short semester working, some student rated me as “hot” on ratemyprofessors.com, and now that is going to follow me around for a while. I find it creepy and annoying. (I dress modestly, no cleavage showing EVER, skirts never shorter than top of knee, nothing too form fitting. At the same time though, I vowed long ago to never be that “frumpy” professor . . . no oversized clothes, no pastels without a bold color contrast, and my wardrobe is HEAVILY influenced by retro fashion.)
Without 'mones male students (and a few females) blush and stammer around me.

Since January, I have settled into a routine of wearing IS (x1 4 sprays. . 2 neck, 2 @ left wrist and smeared on right) and 1/2 drop A314 oil (smeared @ crook of elbows) to work/teach, and on days that I am anticipating a confrontation, a full drop.

There is a certain “type” of student that precipitates these confrontations. I can anticipate the confrontation because 1.at some point in the class they will have made inappropriate misogynist remarks and demonstrated an overall lack of respect for me as an instructor/authority based on my gender, and 2. (usually due to this lack of respect) they have either done something that will result in being dropped from the class, or broken plagiarism policy or earned an F in the course some other way.

I can tell when this is going to happen because I either get an email from them or a note from the department secretary saying they called and that they are going to come and “talk to me” about it at the beginning of class the next day. Note: they don’t ask questions, they don’t ask if they can meet with me, they want to “talk to me.”
(Let me be frank, this is not something that happens often, I’ve taught 2 long semesters, and 3 5week summer sessions, and I’m in week 2 of another 5week summer session now. . . in this period of time, I have taught 14 classes, and have had exactly 3 student confrontations (less than 1%.))

The first time it happened, I didn’t know the pattern yet, and I was sort of caught unawares at the front of the classroom. I was at the computer, sitting on a high stool (but still shorter than my normal 5’10") The student came storming up to the front of the room, and it was obvious he was trying to be physically intimidating, he was sort of “looming” over me and standing just a hair closer than is polite.
Let me preface what I did by saying that I ONLY did this because I was seated. . .doing what I did from a standing position would have been aggressive and inadvisable. I turned the stool 90 degrees to face him directly and leaned toward him just enough to emphasize that I was not physically retreating. (I now refer to this maneuver as “steering into the skid,” and I’ve actually recommended it to other instructors.) (The rest of the confrontation/what was said doesn’t really matter, it involves a lot of repetition on both our parts, and him storming out angry because he didn’t get his way.) After this first confrontation, it occurred to me that in these situations, a little A314 might be in order.

Having been able to anticipate the next two confrontations, that’s exactly what I did. (4 sprays IS, 1 drop A314)
I also deliberately stay at the front on the stool for 3 reasons: 1. Because of my height and the fact that I don’t shy from confrontation, seated is “safer.” 2. With an audience, they may realize they are making an ass of themselves and retreat sooner, and 3. it’s easy to make eye contact with a student to get security should the need arise. (it hasn’t yet, but we were close with that first one.)

With the other two confrontations, using the A314 oil, there was a difference as soon as I “steered into the skid” they got this look. . . somewhere between a scowl and DIH one even took a step backwards. Shutting them down from this position of dominance was both faster and easier (with nothing but the same repetition technique as before.)
So all in all, I guess what I’m saying is that in small amounts I still find A314 EXTREMELY useful.

Hi Txfox, I was thrilled when I read your post because I had been curious to know how A314 could be used by a woman. Sounds like you have a great handle on it. Congrats on striking the right balance of congruency and usefulness! May your bottle of A314 continue to be near and dear.

One day I may work up the courage to try it. In poking around this site I ran across a post that said someone found MX300 to be the women’s version of A314. I’m not alpha by nature (for the most part anyway, lol) and can’t imagine I’d be able to pull off either one. But, for the sake of science, I’ll partake someday and let you know what happens
