Well, that makes me a 1 year older and almost a month than you. I was born on October 27, 1962, and if can’t place the significance of the date, it was the very peak of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Well I don’t remember it of course but my family was vactioning in Key West and we got trapped there during the crises…then we were at a JFK parade in Nashville just days before Dallas. What do you make of that Mark-in-Dallas?

I’d say that we have some pretty interesting stories! Different times back then. Remember the nuclear attack drills in school? The Soviet propagada? The fall of the Berlin Wall and German unification? Gorbachev’s kidnapping and the fall of the Soviet Union.

Sorry Tisha, didn’t mean to make you older. When you said you were born on the day Kennedy died, I just assumed the same year. I was however thinking that you were a couple of years younger though.
