Somebody wrote on a rep for more stories – so I’m complying with what happened tonight. Nothing beats Nunya’s latest hit report, though.
2 TAH 25 mcg (horns of the head)
1 Instant Honesty (back of neck)
2 Instant Sexiness A (1 chest, 1 split at wrists)
2 Instant Openness (1 back of hair, 1 at neck)
I forgot to try the armpits – damn! I was wearing my halter top that only girls with no boobs can wear, too.
Next time, for sure.
I did the shakey thing, and decided to wear my hair down. Which was the best thing I could have ever done.
I felt vivacious, happy, a little mischievous, and completely in control. There was something coiled in me that was ready to be let loose, and I hadn’t felt that way before.
Usual bar, usual dancing. We brought three of our lucky charms: two of our international students, and our life-of-the-party wanderer. We got there at 11:45 (got in for free!!) – and nothing there starts happening until 12:45. We dance anyway, and guys watch us in a very long line by the wall. It still creeps me out a little, but I’ve learned that for the most part, men here need to drink A LOT before getting up enough nerve to dance.
Hits (though some might not be pheromone related):
- The DJ on Saturdays is notorious for being a stubborn ass – he’ll never play requests, and the songs he chooses are all meant for dirty dancing. Nothing fast paced for those who get bored quickly. But this time, I had to ask. I went over to him:
“Please, please, please play Scissor Sisters.” (Weird and obscure, sure for being in a Hoosier bar, but the other DJ played it the last time we went and people went NUTS.)
“I don’t have any of their songs.”
“…Then, Tootsie Roll?”
He cringed. He REALLY didn’t want to. And many might say for good reason.
Insert sappy tone, and flipping hair madly. “Please? There’s no one out there! It’ll be just for us.”
He relented. FIRST VICTORY!
- There was a girl who was wearing an AMAZING red dress. Usually, I just admire from afar, but I couldn’t stop myself this time. I touched her arm to get her attention, and she coiled back from me and had a very defensive look on her face.
I said, “I just have to say, I absolutely love your dress.”
She beamed, touched her heart, and almost melted. It was funny.
-
One girl came over to our group and said she was sent to learn how to dance from us, and then asked to pull in one of her friends, “Scotty too hotty.” He was a horrible dancer, but so sweet! We saw them later on dancing together. I gave her the thumbs up, and she blushed and grinned madly! So cute!
-
Bartender was flirty tonight. Usually, they’re very matter of fact, but we got here before the crowd, so he had time to be cute.
-
I bumped into a man at the bar, and he was shorter – his nose was right about to my neck, and I swear he got a huge whiff of me. He apologized, and then sought me out, and very much tried to impress me by speaking Cosmopolitan (which I am still fluent in…even after having lived amidst corn for 6 years). He wasn’t afraid to dance, though. He gave me his number.
-
I learned the art of wandering from my wanderer friend. A guy I passed by a few times suddenly reached out, picked up a lock of my hair and said, “GREAT hair.” I don’t have long hair, and usually this is a disadvantage as so many guys prefer it. So this made me really happy.
-
The room suddenly realized, “There are two Asian chicks here.” We became bombarded with men. We almost had to fight them off the girls so they could breathe.
One guy, though, (looked like Liev Schreiber) instantly came to dance with me. He kept on saying, “You’re pretty.” “You’re really cute.” And then sure enough, five minutes later, “I can’t believe I’m dancing with the hottest girl in the bar.” Hah!
- And last but not least, right as we were leaving – I saw the Indian guy I had met earlier! We ran to each other and hugged.
I said, “How long have you been here?”
He said, “An hour.”
“I’m just about to leave!!”
He looked crestfallen. “Will you be back next week?”
“No, I’ll be out of town.”
I gave him my number, so we could meet each other when I came back. He put it in his cell phone, and typed in my name – spelled it right and everything, and it’s been weeks!
I said, “You remembered!”
He grinned, and shrugged. I hugged him.
He said, “Do you remember mine?”
I said, “Surya, right?” (His real name is hard to pronounce, for me anyway.)
He said, “Yes!” And we hugged again.
- Security was much nicer when I said goodnight to them tonight. Usually they barely acknowledge it, but I had been back and forth tonight.
:o And that’s it. Long long post, but you asked for it!
Love to all who actually read through it!
