Are Pheromones generally good, or can some people be repulsive?

I was wondering a few things-- lets say a really, really fat man worked up a sweat, and then let his shirt hang to dry. Would the pheromones left over work to attract females, or does he produce unattractive pheromones? If the latter is true, how does one separate good from bad? If one is overweight, should they rely on synthetic mones until they are healthy for example?

There are different types of pheromones. Identifiers, signalers, releasers, and sex mones are generally the ones we synthetically use and humans produce.

Identifiers say something about your health so if your overweight but healthy you would produce generally the same signal as a smaller individual. I dont believe there is a “fat” mone at least one that been discovered and isolated by science.

Attraction has many points to it. It doesn’t just occur chemically but with all the senses. I would say visual, verbal and pheromonal are the top points. People have personal preferences and pheromones can influence those but they cant change personal preferences. So if a women places fitness level as a high priority in her preferences it can affect attraction. However its more of a visual preference and women tend to be less visual and more emotional in choosing a partner. In other words its more about how you make us feel.

I would not say “rely” but enhancing there other attributes and the other points of attraction will help.

You can use synthetic pheromones to enhance your natural ones.

Visually, you may be overweight but that doesn’t have to mean unattractive. In some cultures and for some individuals they find weight attractive. Skinny is not a indicator of health. If you do have some extra pounds on, how you present yourself visually is important. Being hygienic, dressing neatly, how you carry yourself are all parts of visual attraction.

Verbally. trying to be personable and confident will help in attraction. This is not always the easiest attribute to change.

We are all here because we want to improve ourselves and our life experiences. No matter where you start on that journey of self improvement or no matter what that journey entails, whether your improving yourself physically, mentally or socially pheromones are a tool that can help enhance that journey and your interactions with others.

So if your asking do they work for overweight people my answer is yes. They can strengthen and improve the natural signature. As long as you understand they are not magic. They cant change a persons preferences or solve all your self improvement problems. You need to work with them and they are just a tool to help you move forward.

Thanks Tisha. I was just curious how “fat” pheromones would compare to “fit” pheromones, if that makes sense. So are the sexual pheromones of each person relatively similar then, whereas the identifiers differ? If this is the case (or at least roughly), then it would seem that creating synthetic identifiers would really confuse the hell out of someone mind, but could also be extremely effective as a product.

Thats where congruence comes in. The signal is only confusing if it is really foreign to your behavior.

Suppose your wearing IO which is an open friendly fun mix but your mean closed and not so fun to be around. Thats what confuses. Your pheromones are saying one thing and your actions say another.

The indentifiers are general. Gender, age, health, race, status. Of course synthetic mones cant change these factors but using identifiers helps enhance whats already present. Unless you use something that identifies something that is the polar opposite to your own identity like lots of female mones it wont cause confusion.

Sex pheromones differ between men and women in ratio but are basically the same except in copulins which only women make.
