Okay, I’m not Asian, but I have seen some threads that refer to Asians not producing pheromones or something. Is that right? Is there actually a racial thing where different races smell different? (consciously or subconsciously)
I live in Ireland - up until very recently this place was pretty much 100% Caucasian. I don’t know or work with or even casually encounter anybody who isn’t vanilla white, so I have absolutely no first-hand experience with any of this. Educate me!
Asians produce pheromones, but arguably at different levels than other races.
There are a number of factors that affect your natural pheromone output…age, diet, health, and of course, race.
There are notable biological differences in people of different ethnicities…culture can also be a factor, as different culture will perceive pheromone signatures differently. ie asian will be easily put-off by excessive levels of none…levels which other races may be highly receptive to.
All of these different individual factors, including race, need to be accounted for in thinking up mixes
And to think, they started out as the San Diego Rockets, back when we made most of the US’ rockets. (you could hear them testing the rocket engines in Rose canyon all over the county) And I won’t even mention the Mariners or the Clippers.
The Asian race is actually a bit different for pheromones. SmartMones has actually acknowledged this with their MX201 mix. If you were looking to have an impact on Asian women than that is your mix I think.
Interestingly, there have been some studies done on the differences of Asian’s versus other races and it was theorized that Asians don’t generate the same pheromones in the same levels. For example, deoderant doesn’t sell well in many Asian countries becuase many people feel they don’t need it, basically their sweat doesn’t smell as much as mine would as a white male. This was linked to the Asian biochemistry in which Asians don’t produce wet earwax. They have dry earwax which is an entirely different physiology. I didn’t read this article that well becuase it was for class and I had other things to do, but you could probably find it on Discoveries Daily Planet website or something. Here’s an article to start you off in case you wanted to research this phenominon more. LiveScience.com - Is Your Earwax Wet or Dry?
i’ve never heard that before, but that explains why my family thought i was so odd (i’m japanese). it is common for an asian mother or wife to regularly clean the ears of their children or spouse. i once asked my ex girlfriend (she was jewish) to clean my ears and she looked at me like i was asking to be groomed like a monkey.
