Pheromones and different ethnicities/races?

I’m wondering…do pheromones affect people of different races or ethnicities differently?

Why the question, you might ask? I am a Caucasian female…with one characteristic that makes me ask- I seem to be more attracted to good-looking Asian males than good-looking Caucasian males (in general, since obviously there are exceptions to every personal preference). Why? I have no clue lol. But I don’t intend on trying to change that, as I see nothing wrong with it. The thing is, not many Asian males date/seem to be interested in Caucasion females…why? Not sure…it may simply be because it’s not as common and may not be as accepted as easily by the general public, or for some other reason.
(Of course, there’s a more specific reason…aka a specific cute Asian male who I’ve seen around who I’d definitely be interested in… -^_^-)

So I’m wondering if hormones cause people of different races to act differently (besides my obvious implicit question of how I can better attract Asian men…teehee).

I was JUST wondering this..
I was also wondering about different weights and heights, haha.

Well, Im an Hispanic female who is also very attracted to Asians. Actually, I’ve heard Asians absolutely love white girls, especially the blondes.

Though, you are somewhat right. Many Asians STRONGLY believe in marrying within their race, so that could be it. Nice question. :Ð

Well, I’m not sure about this, but I know it’s been discussed before in the mens section. If I’m not mistaken there seems to be some correlation to certain mixes in terms of success with different ethnicities.

It’s also been said that asian men produce less -none than caucasian men so when trying to attract asian women the guys usually advice you to go easy on the -none as the asian women are more sensitive to low doses… It would make sense that it works in reverse too I’d think… I’m sure there is a big cultural factor like KatieA mentioned, but maybe asian guys have less relationships with caucasian women not because they don’t find them attractive, but because the caucasian women don’t respond to their lower -none levels? I’m just guessing here tho…

Yay another Asian-male fan! =D
That’s so funny, I’ve never heard of that! (And I’m Caucasian AND blonde LOL. Dark blonde, though…Too bad those characteristics don’t solve the fact that I’m still at a loss for attracting Asian men haha).

Height and weights I never even thought about…thanks for bringing that up! Hopefully someone who reads this answers our questions…it’d be awesome if there was a specific phero known to attract Asians XD.

And that’s very interesting, Xiphoid. I guess I -and KatieA, too, apparently =D- are more sensitive to their lower levels…I wonder what that would mean for us asian-loving women in terms of what to spray on ourselves…

Well Im a white girl and Ive always been attracted to guys that appear to me as “exotic”. As a teenager I primarily dated hispanic boys.
I also had a huge crush on a guy that reminded me of a Philipino James Dean haha.
In my 20’s I dated a different philipino guy.
My son’s bio-father is Native American w/a bit of Irish for good measure (beautiful nearly mesermising-ly so, but a total jerkoff, it was heartbreaking really).
My bf for the last 3+ years is half Korean and half white (or German as he’s proud to say lol).
His mom is from Korea and has primairly only attended “hard core” Korean Churches and I think all of her friends are Korean as well.
My bf’s father is 1st Generation American (both parents from Germany).
They actually met in South Korea (father was military), moved to South Carolina when the bf was two.

However, I thought he might have pressure from his mother to date/marry a Korean girl, it sounds bad, but to not “dilute” their blood. urgh.
He eased my concerns saying he’s the “first born son” (only son at that) and whatever he says/does is fine w/his mom lol.

Sooooo while I think traditionally Asians probably do stick w/in their race due to tradition/culture, I do think it is changing. And perhaps people are attracted to a familar scent, ie their family has a similar phero/hormone?
Anything’s possible. However if they are living in the states I think this can change as well since they are “exposed” to so many other people.

America is a melting pot, that one of the reasons our country is so great.
I think it’s just as possible to find that beautiful Asian hunk as it is any other hunk. :stuck_out_tongue:
I have never really found it to be a big deal to the younger generation, that it could be more of an issue w/their parents if anything.

My thinking as to why Im attracting to more ethnic looking guys is three parts. Once I group in a fairly large (suburbs) city so I grew up around a large variety of cultures/ethnicities.
My father has black hair and a darker complexion than myself (I got my mom’s genes on that one, however he is pretty much an Irish mut) so I think it’s sorta natural to be attracted to men that somehow remind me of my father (not as weird as it sounds).
Also I think there can be this desire to produce offspring that have a large variety of genes to choose from, to then produce healthier child?
oh and I just think tall, dark and handsome boys are supah hot.
