This past Saturday was a busy day for me at the shop. I had lots of women coming in, in need of pc repair. I love days like that. I also repaired a midi data filer for a keyboardist in town who is actually performing with his Elvis band locally. Great guy…and actually the other band members were really cool as well. They all came to the shop and waited while I did the repair. 
So anyway…today’s mix (haha) was
- 2 swigs errr sprays of reg Ammo
- 2 sprays of instant honesty 4x to wrists
- a dab of a314 to the front of my neck
- 2 shot of instant shine to the neck, and
- a partial spray of mx297 (really starting to love the cover scent on this one)
I covered everything with my latest fav cologne. It’s not a brand, made by a local person with natural botanicals and oils. It’s really nice smelling and lasts a long time. A little will do ya.
So yeah, this is my back to basics formula minus the mx297. The women on Saturday were all mostly in their 40’s, and a few were in their 20’s, several very attractive. All responded very, very well to this formula. At least 3 women, including a couple of 40 somethings and a girl in her early 20’s wanted to come behind the counter and sit with me and discuss their pc issues. Most people just want to drop their machines off and leave.
The 20 something girl and a 40 something woman both wanted more. They both complimented me on my “cologne,” and asked me what it was. The 40 year old lady was drooling practically. I felt like a musician being hounded by a groupie. It was a bit unnerving actually, but welcomed for the sake of testing for you guys and for my business.
All in all, I got a sense of my customers being very trusting of me, which is always a benefit, and holding to every word I said. They seemed to focus in on what I was saying, almost in a mesmerizing way, but not quite, if that makes sense.
Overall, I felt that there was too little of the mx297 to really have an effect, but with the instant honesty and my own charming chit chat, I was able to be very engaging, yet professional. I think that people want to be made to feel important, especially when they are bringing in a piece of their life for you to repair. People spend a lot of time on their pc’s, so I think that it becomes almost a part of someone’s life.
