Lol? Is that a serious question? At least 80% of the threads on this forum involve testing a pheromone and the results it produced. The closest I can provide to “proof” is suggesting you check out some of the journals and see the results some people have had. I read my own journal over just for kicks about a month ago and realized that when I first started I didn’t know jack, but I know a whole lot more now and I’m still learning every time I where pheromones. And as far as “scientific tests” are concerned, check out here: Studies & Abstracts - PheroTalk Pheromone Research Forum
The closest you can provide to proof? So there IS NO PROOF they work like you said? Just “closest to proof”?
A forum run by a company who sells pheromones is NOT the place to read SCIENTIFIC studies. The cases on here are not scientific, they are anecdotal. I am talking about SCIENTIFIC evidence, not anonymous posts on a forum. ***I can point you to some forums where people are convinced of some pretty strange stuff. Doesn’t make it true at all.
The studies and abstracts you link to do not show any scientific data on what you had mentioned. Many of the articles are not even about HUMANS. Can anyone provide me with the scientific proof of what these different types of mones do?
Apparently they make people spaz out
. I don’t have time to find articles for you, but if you are really that interested there should be nothing stopping you from finding them on your own. Pubmed is a good scientific journal database. I suggest you start there.
I assumed if you made the claims you did that you HAVE READ those articles (and would know where). I have search extensively for any scientific evidence that supports those claims and can find none. WHERE did you find yours? Or didn’t you?

Not quite sure why you are getting so defensive right now. I recommend counting to 10.

I have read a number of articles and posted something in the Pheromones Theory forum based on what I read: The Science Behind the Mayhem
If you scroll down about halfway I made a second post regarding a different pheromone chemical. Take the info for what you will. I do not have a PhD in chemistry. I don’t have the sources of my info anymore, I made that post a while ago and deleted the favorited links to the articles. Obviously though if I could find them so can you. Instead of typing in “pheromones” into google, try a specific chemical name, like I did. For example, try “Androstenedione” or “Androstenol”. -
Sounds like you haven’t gotten the experiences you were hoping to get from pheromones and now you’re sour about it. We can help if you ask nicely. It’s hard to find answers when you don’t know where to look
.
Not defensive. I think when someone makes claims asking for their source is a legit question. You sent me a link to a post with more babble and STILL no scientific reference.
I have searched for those on Google and find no science that shows what you are claiming. Since you did the search, just point me to what you found (nothing on any sites TRYING TO SELL pheromones please).
I haven’t even tried pheromones yet. They are on the way. When people make claims I just want to know the source of their info. Common sense.
I had put literally hours into searching, time that I can’t spare now. If I find time during my insanely hectic med-school life, then I’ll try to find the links, but don’t expect them anytime soon. I have 1100 pages to learn in 3 weeks.
dude… are you kinding me??? this whole forum is science!.. tell me this, what is the scientific method. and then tell me how this forum itself isn’t doing that same thing.
food for thought, and also yea your not being defensive your being a little aggressive and scotty is being nice. but I’m not. watch the way your saying (typing) things from now on and we wont have any further problems. try adding a smiley or something… seriously dude
James V. Kohl IS certified with the American Society for Clinical Pathology among others and is a serious pheromone researcher. I suggest you read this: Human Pheromones: Scent of Eros: About James V Kohl

By the way, this is all R&D, everyone of us who post on here with results do so in accordance to our own findings. We are NOT paid by the company to post iffy results, so take that as you please but I know that I personally am not getting paid to tell a lie. Other than that these pheromones are still considered putative, if you’re looking for a definite answer I doubt that you will find it besides plenty of R&D.
Ahh you beat me to it Miko… I was surprised how easy on google scholar it was to find these med journals!
Great minds think alike my friend. ![]()
this is from pubmed.gov. Mikoto’s links are very good as well.

Edit:
Here is another one
Did you guys READ these? If so, point out WHERE the following information is found. Remember, THIS is what I was asking about…
The links you provided do not support this at all. So they may have been easy to google, but they do not answer the question.
WHERE can I read the scientific data that shows -none adds sexiness, Androsterone adds respect, -nols add fun/trust?
I’ve edited this post because mikoto posted a link proving what some molecules do as well as I did two posts below.
Search
a1 luteinizing hormone
Choose the first link. It proves that A1 causes calm feelings in women.
I’m about to eat my own words in my last post.
I found an article documenting the effects of A1 in women.
Can’t get the link to work for some weird reason but if you search
androstadienone luteinizing hormone
in google first result is an article that proves how A1 effects women ![]()
Why do you care so much for scientifical proof?
You said your pheros are on their way, so wait till they get there, test them and then take your own conclusions.
Are you ever going to church and tell them to scientifically prove that God exists?
What matters most is that it works for them.
Pheros works for most people in this forum and that’s what matters.
Because when people say things like “this pheromone does this or that” I want to know where they’re getting this information. When things are stated as fact, they should be fact, not speculation.
Where they’re getting that information? From themselves!
Do you need a scientist to tell you that if you put your hand on fire it’s gonna hurt? I think you can figure that out by youself…
