You would have been better to carry on here. Too many similar threads from a new poster can trigger the spambot and get you stuck on moderation, which is annoying!
IMO you bought the best version of A314 - All versions have their values/strong points but the oil is by far the most subtle, complex, wide ranging, longest lasting and economic of them. It will serve you very well indeed. ![]()
The only downside of the oil is that it can take you a lot longer to get to grips with its effects compared to sprays but that’s also a good thing and I’m still discovering new facets to it a good couple of years down the line.
No! IS is an excellent companion to A314 - not at all bad to use together. Just you do need to keep your oil and spray points apart otherwise the sprays will make the oil diffuse far too fast (sprays/cover scents can be layered together OK).
Have a look here for ideas on app points:
Personally I tend to use my temples - just in front of the ears, the area just behind my ears down to where it meets my jaw and my wrists for oil application. That leaves my neck/throat, upper chest and forearms for sprays/cover scents, so its fairly easy to keep them apart. Personally I avoid hair applications because they can be unpredictable but IS is one that’s good to use there - other pheros can bind to hair and lead to stinky/buildup problems.
Don’t get too hung-up on app points, so long as it has decent circulation and is open to the air to diffuse, all is good. Although applying under light clothing is a tactic younger guys need to employ with the most sexually overt pheros (eg TUTH, IJ, Androstenone) in order to help slow the diffusion slightly.
One thing you will probably find with IS/A314 is that they have very different activity - A314 lasts longest, typically 8-10 hours per application (extendable to around 12hrs by applying over a good lotion), whilst IS will give its best for about three to four hours, then fades rapidly (most other spray pheros last around 6hrs), so you will probably need to top-up your IS once or twice to keep pace with an A314 application. Don’t worry though - it all soon falls into place.
