California: anyone in San Diego, LA or the Bay Area? Considering relocating for work

Anyone here live in North and South Cali

I was looking into San Diego, LA, or Bay area for work.

I have an option to relocate.

Any opinions?

I’ll ask around, I am in Cali right now (obviously) for a bit and have met quite a few business owners while here.

Sorry John

I should have clarified. I have options to go there for work as a promotional transfer.

I just wanted to see how it was.

You’re a Jersey kid, how do you like it over there?

Ok here’s the cali lowdown.

South cali LA/San Diego: Weather is awesome all year round. Far enough south that winters are mild, close enough to the ocean that the sea breeze keeps summers cool.
Bikini weather all year long. Good club scene, girls tend to be a little flighty. If you like the stereotypical blond bimbo that thinks she’s the next big movie star you’re golden. Also a HUGE latino population so if you dig thick and spicy mexican women this is great. Downsides, Good dose of smog, crime and seriously congested traffic.

Norcal Bay Area:San Fran/Berkely/San Jose… This is my personal choice. Wet and foggy winters, cool and temperate summers. San Fran is closer to being the west coast version of NYC than LA. You have the hippies and alternative scenes of Berkley, the financial district of San Fran, and the Techies from San Jose. If you’re into culture and sophistication this area has FAR more museums, symphonies, opera’s etc than Socal and the quality of women reflect that. The women in this area tend to be in shape, highly educated, sophisticated and financially affluent. Bring your A-game. Also has the largest Asian population in the state so if Asian girls are your thing this is the place to be. Oh and you’re just a few minutes outside Napa Valley/Wine Country and lemme tell ya, wine tasting tours make for an awesome first date.
Drawbacks. Cold and wet weather ain’t for everyone. Has about the highest cost of living in the state. And due to the hills following a street map of San Fran is an absolute nightmare for visitors…plan on getting lost on the way home every day for at least a month till you get your bearings.

Try this quiz and see which (if any) of the area’s you might move to fit your criteria.

I can’t rep you anymore otherwise I would lol

Thanks bro

Nice,

Aside from the east coast

San Franciso and LA are the top two choices.

lol Thanks, yeah, I’m about 2-3 hours from the bay, 8 hours from Socal. So whichever you chose maybe we can meet up and hang.

Oh here’s a good analogy for ya.

The SoCal scene is for the guy that wears either Instant Jerk or Ammo, with maybe a touch of Shine

The NorCal scene is for the guy that wears A314 with either MX301, or Ammo/Shine.

Nice lol

I gotta put some applications in and see how the career progresses here. Hanging out with one of the top PUA’s here would be nice too with all these cali girls.

Norcal is pretty cool. (east bay)

However I’ve been wanting a different area for a while and have considered san diego/LA to transfer for college.

Yup - thats pretty much it!

Fuck it come to Winnipeg

Every second hotty has a butt ugly boyfriend because there are wayyyy more hot chicks than good looking guys in this city…

Just gotta be able to hand -50 degree winters

San Diego has a great theater scene. At least half a dozen plays were written and premiered here then went directly to Broadway, think Rent (Wikipedia lies). The problem is relatively low pay and high costs. But then again you can go snow skiing in the morning then surfing in the afternoon ( the county has beach, inland grasslands, mountains, and desert). we didn’t used to have a great “foodie” scene, but that’s improving, and we are considered the best beer city in the country (Men’s Journal magazine survey).

agree…come to sd,thats where i reside..weather is great, low pay high cost…thats wat we call “sunshine tax”… worse weather is rain…its about 98 in sd right now…our range in temp beats out other states..plus no cabin fever

LA would bring you closer to us, so you can save more on shipping!

hah

I’d end up spending more money on more pheromones just cause I can just hop over and pick up my custom orders lol

This was the reason I loved LA, just hours to whatever you wanted to do.
Ski, swim /surf, Joshua Tree, Santa Barbara, San Diego, TJ, Vegas, Palm Springs, the list goes on. I love SoCal

If only you knew the location of our top secret underground volcano lair.

BUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

Yeah, but he would have to be in LA.

Frankly I think radman is off on SoCal. LA maybe but not the OC and San Diego
I have lived in the Northwest, NoCal and SoCal. I’ve lived in Santa Monica and now live in South OC. LA does have a huge latino pop, but honestly there not a ton of Mexicans here in the OC. Its more affluent with whites and Asians until you get inland. The OC has the largest Vietnamese community in the world outside of Vietnam. There is a HUGE Southeast Asian community since the weather is more similar than the cold of Norcal. Seattle and SF have huge Japanese and Chinese populations. This I prefer since I think SE Asian woman are better looking, have better bodies and are way more sexual.
Regarding the blond bimbos. Yes they are in LA, bigtime. But the further south you get the less of a superficial lifestyle. Air quality is usually good (unlike LA), orange county has some of the safest city’s in the US. Tons to do with skiing a couple of hours away in the winter and summer sports year around. I am digging the beach communities. Word to the wise. if you live 5 miles or more inland it gets Hot. If I move again it will be to San Diego. In my opinion is the most desirable city to live in the US.

I live here in Berkeley right across the bay from SF. Alot of what Rad said is very true. I have lived here for a year now. I spent the last 10 yrs in sunny FL. There is a lot to love here…but there is a lot to dislike. At least for me. There is culture everywhere. Lots of restaurants, wineries, fucking awesome beer, museams, festivals, hiking, bikng, etc. Im a serious foodie so the good food and wine is the tits. The problem is…IT IS SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE. Rent and general cost of living is rediculous. I am renting a 2,1 with 1200 sq. ft. and I pay close to $2000. You will pay $2000+ for an apt in the city. As in…a small 1 bdr. I could buy a 4 bdr palace in FL for that amount of $.

The weather here is just blah. Rarely gets above 70. 55-65 mostly. Always in a sweatshirt and jacket. Ugh. Way different than my beloved FL.

The bar, lounge, club scene is great in the city. All the dressed up, stuck up types are out in the clubs. I tend to hit up lounges because there is still music but it is at a volume where you can open people without having to shout at them. OMG, if you are into Asain woman…this is the place to be. Order a shit ton of P75 and hit up a lounge on Montgomery. Lots of great dive bars here too.

Dont take this the wrong way but…there are alot of stuck up types here. As Rad said people are educated…but they love to let you know that they are. Alot of people have VERY high standards when it comes to who they talk to or accociate themselves with. Its really shitty. It was surprising to me considering the friendly, laid back lifestyle I enjoyed in FL.

Its really expensive Man. Lots of cutie students. Girls are a bit harder to pick up. Dont bother buying oil based phero’s. Oh, and make sure you know what political party you favor. God forbid you say your an independent or you work for the govt.
