Can effects become permanent?

Like, say you used Ammo or Instant Gentleman every day for a year, then suddenly stopped.

Would your body have become so accustomed to those pheromone signatures that it would start producing them on its own if it needed to?

Nice little theoretical question.

I shouldn’t think so.

Sufferers of chronic pain taking daily medication don’t suddenly start making codeine, do they?

Haha, good point!

I guess a better way to look at the question is a person’s behavior. Obviously a year of Ammo is going to bolster someone’s self-image, assuredness and confidence. So, it only makes sense that they could stop pheromone usage and still be just as lethal as before, right?

Take a look at posts written by MHarris and tacitus on the topic of pheromones as emotional learning tools. (The older the posts the better)

And yes, absolutely one can see a permanent change for the better.

Realize that many of the mones on human skin are not directly produced by your body but are a byproduct of bacterial action on sweat. Ever notice fresh sweat smells different than sweat after a 2-hour workout or running around all day in hot humid weather?

The most common mone on human male skin is A1. Heat, moisture and bacteria act on it and break it down to anol. In turn, anol breaks down to anone. Anone breaks down to a funky scent similar to roadkill skunk.

So how often you shower, weather, how active you are, health, diet, etc., are factors which directly control natural mone output. Wearing artificial mones don’t normally change hygiene habits or physical activity.

I don’t experience self-medication effects from mones. However, some people do albeit normally with ever diminishing strength. Perhaps a person with a psychological dependance on mones may experience increased stress and sweat more if they stopped using mones. The addition sweat will result in increase mone production if they don’t shower too frequently and defeat it.

I suppose if they had steady access to poppies, they might. I know I would.

However, I doubt this sweat will have the same composition as whatever artificial pheromonal signature they were wearing, so they might have increased -mone production but it will be mostly androstadienone, androstenol, and androstenone, as Gegogi pointed out. Not too many of those fancy P90s and TAKs.

I think that in a way, they do. When you are very used to being noticed by others, being treated well, being seen as sexy, you often become more comfortable in your skin and you elicit those same behaviours. Another thing is that if your circle sees you are the cool guy 90% of the time, and have been for the past two years, their image of you remains even when you have an off day.

Personally, I’m using pheros less often nowadays. Mostly if I’m meeting new people or want to change the impression I’m making.

Hey, now I notice A LOT of girls post in men’s section. I started the trend with the female section - by commenting on journals and stuff.
Anyways, it is great! welcome and stick around here

you need to post more, cool guy.

Ah, so I can take off the fake beard and dinner jacket?

No, you don’t… your feminine allure itself, with or without fake ( OR real :stuck_out_tongue:)
mustache is good enough, hotness

I do so love a woman with a full beard. It just projects confidence, self-sufficiency, and yet just the slightest bit of vulnerability. Such women have a hard exterior, but on the inside, they really are quite tender. And everyone will be able to pick out your girl from miles away.

Ah likes mah woman smooth!

Way to take credit for that…LMAO

Hihihi, you men are crazy, LOL!

Like you just realized it, NOW  hehe
BTW, you come across as a NICE girl in all your posts… Good or bad, it is up to you to find out, right?

Like you just realized it NOW , hehe
BTW, you come across as a NICE girl in all your posts… Good or bad? it is up to you to find out, right? I personally don’t think it is bad at all …

I’m very nice to all those who are nice to me

But really, I’m an eternal optimist. Everyday I wake up expecting the sun to shine, my bicycle to be where I left it and the men to be uncrazied. Thus, I start the day with a smile.
