Signature Changed Permanently?

I have been too busy to do logs or posting since it is finals week so I just decided not to wear any mones during this time but I have noticed that something is different. Even with out the mones it seems like I am still getting some of the effects. Is it possible that wearing mones can change your mone signature or do something that is more permanent. I am getting about a 1/2-1/4 strength effect of mx297 from people around me. For example the last few days in the gym I have had 3 guys that I have never talked to before walk up, ask me about my self, shake my hand and leave, one wanted to party with me sometime so got my phone number. Then I walked up to my friends girlfriend and asked her where he was and it turns out they broke up (felt like an idiot), but she also wants to get together sometime, this never happened before using mones so just thought they could have a lasting effect some how.

Nah. They just remember what you were like with the mones on. For a similar reason, you have to wear mones for a little while around people you know before they see a change.

Think about it this way. They got adjusted so that they thought MX297 was your normal signature, and what you’re giving off now is different. They’re ignoring it for now, but I’m thinking it’ll go back gradually.

No mones are not strong enough to change your physiology.

People retain feelings though until you give them reason to feel something else about you.

It is tempting to dismiss this idea out of hand, but in fact every part of our neuroanatomy uses feedback from its own output to spur further action. If we accept that pheromones are used to induce social effects, we must also accept that our own bodies will use them as signals to shape our metabolic processes.

Never met any of the people mentioned except my friends ex-gf and I never wore mones around her.

Maybe I have changed subconsciously to where I am acting different like I do when I take 297, not sure just thought it was interesting.

This is one possibilty but that wouldnt explain 3 guys who youve never talked to before responding positively. But its possible they got exposed to your cloud without you realizing.

Another possibilty would be residual on clothes if you wore the same thing like a sweatshirt but you would have had to use a lot of sprays.

Dbot says feedback. This is a good theory that tater talked about.

Perhaps I should change my wording from physiology to biology.

Yes our neuroanatomy uses feedback but your own output is natural to your biology and thinking processes. Synthetic pheromones are not and once they diffuse and are no longer present, there is only your natural feedback mechanisms.

Inside the body and blood stream they do help shape our metabolic processes however pheromone work under different pathways. They do not effect your metabolic processes permanently so once it wears off your still you and there is no changes. To assume so would mean being around a bunch of sweaty testosterone driven men would permanently raise your own testosterone. Wouldn’t that be convenient for body builders.

Even copulins which are proven to raise testosterone levels in men do not change there natural biology. Those levels wont stay up without stimulation.

Women do synchronize there menstrual cycles and its theory that it has something to do with pheromones however copulins are not technically pheromones. They are fatty lipids so this theory remains unproven.

On some levels just our natural thinking process can change our physiology and the way we function. Its not what the poster was asking though. He wanted to know if synthetic mones change his natural mone signature. They don’t. I really wish it was that easy.

The body is not likely to distinguish between natural pheromones and artificially introduced ones any more than it distinguishes between endogenous hormones and those introduced through hormone replacement therapy.

The “self-effects” that we experience are experiential changes brought on by the addition of artificial pheromones. They are the early indicators that these neurosteroids are stimulating our brains through olfaction in exactly the same way our own naturally-produced pheromones would. But, since the signal is changed, so will be the mood, cognition, and action tendencies that they induce. Furthermore, those mood, cognition, and action tendencies will themselves be self-reinforcing, so that over time – exposed to a consistent pheromone signature – a person’s own signature should grow closer to the one they are being exposed to.

That includes the pheromone signatures of others! Pheromones are very likely a mechanism of developing biopsychosocial cohesion within groups. Just the way a group of women will synchronize menstrual cycles, or the way a group of mix-gender people will synchronize their rates of breathing and heartbeat over time, or the way we develop a common language that helps us to share perceptive experiences. So if you are among a group of testosterone-riddled bodybuilders for a long period of time then yes, it is likely that you will become more like them in a variety of ways – your ideology, values, language, diet, activity patterns, and yes, pheromone output.

I agree that your ideology, values, language, diet, activity patterns can change your signature and those influences can in turn influence your pheromone signature over time. But synthetic mones in themselves are not going to do that. I can squirt you with IO and influence you to talk more but it wont turn you outgoing. Your biology stays the same and unless you make that conscious decision to change your personality, ideology, values and activity patterns your natural mone signature will always return to your natural state.

To assume that mones can just be applied and change your thoughts ideals and beliefs without other influences is a misrepresentation of what mones can do. Its why so many new people are having trouble understanding the limitations of this form of communication lately.

Pheromones are a part of communication and what shapes our emotions they do not cancel out what is natural to our physiology or change us into something we are not emotionally capable to change into. Its all those influences together working with mones that influence change they do not create change.

We will just have to agree to disagree because I am not going to misrepresent what mones can do and what they cant do to new users.

My thought. What about this? When you were using nomes you started picking up habits to fit them. You become the cool guys. You become more outgoing. You change or gain “swagger”. Your body language changes. Part of it is due to the nomes effects on you as well as how the way people react to you effects you mentally, socially, and subconsciously.

Now… even without the nomes you’ve created certain patterns of carrying yourself. Kinda like the same effect as when someone leaves for a long time and comes back and something’s just different about him. It’s how he acts and carries himself. But instead of teaching yourself, the nomes have taught you so to speak.

So now you still get similar reactions as with nomes because the nomes have changed your pattern of behavior to the point where certain appealing qualities, ways of carrying yourself/your aura, and mannerisms have become norms with or without them. That make sense?

It Makes Perfect Sense… Infact That is Very Much what I’ve Experienced Over the Past Year of Wearing Mones… I Mainly Used then to Buffer my Confidence and Ability to Interact with Others… Now Even when I Go for Extended Periods With NO Mones (3-4 Weeks) The Traits are Still There… It Can’t be Explained as Anything but a Learned Behavioral Change…

Thats pretty much what Dbot and I indicated. My point is its not the mones changing his pheromone output directly nor is it his natural signature. Its his own state of mind behavior and attitude that has changed and triggered secretion of a slightly different signal.

You have to keep in mind that there are mones that speak about our biology and those only change with biological changes to the body. Age. health, disease, diet, gender etc etc. (indentifiers). Identifiers are your natural mone signature. His identifiers are the same. Wearing mones has not changed them and they wont. You can wear mones to enahnce them though.

Then there are those that change with our behavior and emotions. (signalers) His signalers change all the time. When your scared nervous confident or your happy you secrete corresponding mones.

This occurs all through life even when you have never picked up a bottle of pheromones ever. So its not the mones that changed his natural signature. The mones just acted as a tool so he could do that naturally for himself. Other tools came into play as well. We experience life and communicate with all of our senses not just our olfactory senses.

Just like wearing a really great suit that makes you feel sexy and powerful. You begin to carry yourself a certain way. people begin to respond to you a different way and that feeling may continue for a while even after you take it off. The suit didn’t change your pheromone signature. You did.

On many levels I agree with both Tisha and Dbot. I have a very, very shy friend, whom I’ve been spending lots and lots of time with. I use mones every time, got use mones, and he is kind of my project. After two years of constant exposure to my circle of friends, my mones, my influences he has not changed at all. He is still extremely shy, he still would rather stay home alone.

Again though I get what both of you are saying and this point its all conjecture without actual studies performed and peer reviewed. Don’t believe its going to happen in my lifetime so for now I’ll just take the best of what everyone has to offer and make my own judgements. In the words of Depeche Mode: People are people

People are people
So why should it be
You and I should get
Along so awfully
People are people
So why should it be
You and I should get
Along so awfully

So we’re different colours
And we’re different creeds
And different people have different needs
It’s obvious you hate me
Though I’ve done nothing wrong
I’ve never ever met you so what could I have done

I can’t understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand

People are people…

Help me understand
Help me understand

Now you’re punching
And you’re kicking
And you’re shouting at me
I’m relying on your common decency
So far it hasn’t surfaced
But I’m sure it exists
It just takes a while to travel
From your head to your fists

I can’t understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand

Well Tisha, first let me say I am not arguing with you! Second let me say I have absolutely zero knowledge of pheromone science. What I do know a little bit about though, is what changes people through psychology.

A “Power Suit” so to say, does in fact change who you are. You act more confidently, you stand straighter, and you act more assertive than you normally would. Don’t misunderstand this as to mean you will be the most confident, assertive man in the room, but you will certainly see improvements in these areas vs your normal every day self. If you were to wear this power suit on a daily basis due to your job, then these effects will roll over into your personal life in normal civilian attire as well.

A man that is 6 FT 120 lbs is tall and skinny. He gets turned down by girls all the time because he is “not their type.” Once he starts going to the gym though, he starts feeling better about himself mentally and physically. After about 3 months of dedicated dieting he may have increase 15-20 lbs and all of sudden now he’s seeing real world positive effects. This not only boosts self esteem but also confidence. This increase in self esteem and confidence carries on for the rest of your life until something negative happens I.E. you become skinny or fat again.

People, places, situations, and interactions change and shape who we are on a daily basis. If you move from one city to the next, you will be a different person in a year or two years. Maybe not an extremely different person but certainly some aspects about you will change.

So what I’m trying to say is that, if one uses pheromones for an extended period of time, and continually experiences positive feedback from others, this will, in theory, raise his self esteem and confidence. A man with higher self esteem and confidence walks taller, he acts more “Alpha.” This effect over an extended period of time I’m sure would shape who that person is and how that person acts with or without pheromones would it not? Again I am no scientist or expert in this field, In fact today is my first day on these forums!! I am just using logic and knowledge I have learned in psychology classes :stuck_out_tongue:

So–I’d have to say I more or less agree with what Tisha is saying. I don’t think the pheromones your body gives off have permanently changed, only you and how you carry yourself on a daily basis. Like taking any testosterone supplement. The effects are only temporary, no matter how long you take the supplement for.

The comment about other gym rats walking up to you though, like another man said previously, is it possible that the pheromones were still on your clothes? Or maybe they had experienced the effects of your pheromones previously before you had quit applying them?

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

^^^hahaha thought I’d post a poem too :stuck_out_tongue:

I know your not argueing with me and I thank you for your input. I am glad you mentioned it because this is not the first time people have implied it or assumed it upon viewing a discussion I am in.

I dont know why everytime I have a discussion with someone and try to explain my view people assume I am argueing or attacking them in some way. That poem or song Steve quoted is really not relevant to how I feel about Dbot. I dont know if its relevent to how he feels. I dont hate anyone. Its a emotion I rarely if ever feel or have use for.

I dont see other people being accused of arguing when they have discussions with opposing views. Maybe they forgot to read it with a happy face like Michael suggested all those years ago.

Oh well time to move on.

Tisha

Tisha, I have no hard feelings, but fwiw I suspect the reason that people sometimes perceive your posts as combative is because they tend to be worded in a way that indicates certainty. Using more qualifiers, such as “I think”, “I suspect”, “likely”, “possibly”, etc, could help people to understand your intentions better.

Here’s an interesting article: THE IS OF IDENTITY - ANALYTICAL INDICANT THEORY - JON NEIVENS - ATHENAEUM LIBRARY OF PHILOSOPHY

Thank you Dbot, I don’t have hard feelings either and I didn’t want you or other readers to think I hated you or something because it was implied with Steve’s post. TY for answering my question as well and I will try to keep that in mind although its easier said then done LOL. Its sort of the curse of the clairvoyant. You have the “knowing” and sometimes you have to wait for the evidence to catch up with that “knowing”.

I tend to always speak with certainty because I see things with clarity. Your right it can be perceived the wrong way sometimes.

Tisha

I agree with all of you on this and that’s probably exactly what has happened to me. Thanks for all the great input!

Oh the song by Depeche Mode had NOTHING to do with this whole argument thing. I actually didn’t think anyone was arguing. Just community members discussing their view points. I just like the whole “people are people” thing. The rest of the “hate” stuff…well its in the song.

Please don’t think for one second I was accusing or insinuating anyone on here is a hater. Just a song…that I like . No ill-intent.
