Can Pheromones make Plants Bloom?

This is either an omen of some sort or some scientific wonder. So I bought a package of cut basil from trader joes. Normally in three to five days the basil wilts or gets moldy.

Since I’ve been messing around with pheromones and essential oils, I notice white spots in my basil package. I thought they were mold. But when I looked closer my basil had bloomed flowers!!!

We’re they copulating with eachother? That’s kind of crazy if they can!!!

I always wondered if pheromones explained the whole “talking to plants” phenomenon.
