So, I got my stuff today (A314, Instant Shine, Ammo, TUTH and Instant Openess) and I’m ready to try it out. Here goes!

WEEK 1 / Day 1 of testing

Product name,scent and strength

A314 (batch 3) & Instant Shine ver.1.1 Strenght: 1x.

Application dosage and locations

A314: 1 drop to wrists, rubbed together then rubbed onto sides of my neck + 1 drop on finger smeared on pulsepoints on neck.

IS: 2x sprays on each side of my neck + extra on left side (the first one was hardly any spray coming out, the last one was a shower - lol).

I was thinking of covering all appliation points with Davidoff’s “Cool Water”, but both A314 and Shine smelled quite pleasant, so I only took one spray of Cool Water on the chest.

Time of application: 13:20 PM.

Enviroment tested in

Work-place. I got a call-back for a job, so this was basically an interview.

Self effects

None immidiately, though I did feel my mood elevating about 10 min out. (I was in a shitty mood prior to application because my DVD burner on the laptop seem to have a hardware failure, which means I have to give the laptop to repair and loose a lot of time for work).

Walking back from the interview, I felt “taller”. It’s hard to say what it was, but I kinda felt confident, more… like “the man” (even though the interview only went so-so :stuck_out_tongue: )

Effects to others

Hard to say; when I was walking toward the building were the interview was to be held, four guys (teenagers) came out and they all moved out of their way to let me pass - don’t know if they were being friendly or if it was the A314.

When I came to the interview - the guy who I talked to seemed a little anxious. (I had rolled up my sleeves and leaned in so that my hands were facing up on the table to let the pheros diffuse into his face, lol). The talk lasted roughly 40 min or so, and most of it was OK. He seemed undesicive about the job, but told me he had to take some time to think and that at the moment, they didn’t need people that bad. However, he said - he’d definitely keep me in mind when he was putting up the chart for next semester (this was a job at a school). He said he’d go on leave for quite a while next semester and probably needed someone then, but also that I shouldn’t “wait by the phone” for him to call and try to sort out other jobs as well in the meanwhile.

All in all, the interview was so-so, the effects of the pheros also.

Interesting note: When I came home, I chatted with a flatmate. She’s really talkative but seemed to listen more to what I had to say and paid attention to every word I said this time. Usually I have a hard time getting a word in with her, but now, she seemed more relaxed and attentive. The shine helping? Dunno. (I might mention that she was also sick and her head was “clogged” as she said, so it may have been that making her more dosile).

Time of exposure

About 40 min - plenty of time for the target to get the scent of the pheros in.

Duration of effects.

Approx. 1 hour (if you count the time I spent chatting to my flatmate).

Effects from mixing with other products.

Since this was my first time trying BOTH products I cannot say what the individual effects are, and thus not what the effect of the mix was. From tomorrow on, I’m gonna use A314 exclusively for a couple of days. Then I’m gonna use Shine on the weekend and both next Monday to compare. (I used both now because it was a special occasion).

Additional notes

My GF is picking me up in 4-5 hours, I’ll re-apply 2x sprays of Shine then (one to my hair) - I can’t wait to hear what she says about the “smell” - the A314 smell is really distinct, I feel I’m smelling it as I type - maybe others won’t smell it? :stuck_out_tongue: I bet she’ll ask me if I’m wearing a new cologne.. :smiley:

2-3 drops of A314 is all that’s required for a job interview. Shine may be quite the opposite of what some would want in a typical work environment.

WEEK 1 / Day 1 of testing - UPDATE

So it’s almost 6 hours later and the effects of A314 seem to have worn off completely (well, at least whatever placebo / self-effects I felt). At my SO’s place now, watching TV. Right before she picked me up, I sprayed a big dose of IS in my hair - good idea? Dunno, my GF immediately asked me - “who you been kissing?” I was like; “what?” and she said I smelled like a girl - lol. I told her I got a new shampoo ( :roll_eyes: ) and she said I should give it to her since it smelled so nice, but that it smelled like a girl. Went to her place and got impatient (sorry guys) - “why isn’t she jumping all over me?” - so I sprayed one dose of Instant Honesty on my chest, and then added a spray of Cool Water on top to cover the scent. Got to snuggling in the couch while eating dinner / watching TV but nothing unusual. Can’t wait to see if there’ll be some action later on - she def. did “crawl” into my neck / chest space to snuggle, but she always does that (seriously) so again, I don’t know about the pheros but it’s still early. Reporting back later.

Hm, what do you mean? I thought Shine was to show you’re a vibrant and healthy individual, and tone down the “alpha male” thing of A314? I’ve read so many people say they always combine Shine and A314 to work, what’s wrong with this combination in this context? :o

In other words too lighthearted for work; most work places (especially serious ones) would rather have you act very Alpha serious than light, and carefree. I think that’s what he means.

There was a bit of a hit, but it takes a while for those who know you to react to mones. The people who know you already have you “pegged” and it takes time to “move” them to a new pidgin hole.

I hear what you’re saying but she always cuddles up into my neck / shoulder area so I don’t consider it a hit, but I did notice that she inhaled the fumes quite deeply a couple of times, like I wrote before, she really liked the smell of Instant Shine and so did I. Is it usually that the smell stays for so long or is it just that it got in my beard / hair etc? Because I felt like I was reeking of the stuff after I applied it to my hair with very little distance between my hair and the spray.. :smiley:

Today I’m gonna start with A314 only and see how it works on its own. Gonna go to two meetings today with places that could benefit my career, so hope it goes well.. :slight_smile:

WEEK 1 / Day 1 of testing - UPDATE II

After I’ve analyzed the interview yesterday back and forth, I’ve come to the conclusion that the A314 did have some-kind of effect. It must have had. Here’s why:

The guy I was talking to was not the boss but an employee who’s job description matches the job I was applying for. Basically the situation was that the boss felt he needed one more staff member for this job because the guy (whom I was talking to) was overloaded with work. However, I think the guy felt kinda threatened by the fact that someone else was applying for “his” job. The boss was busy this day so he let me talk to the guy about what the job entailed and the boss thrusts this guy (he told me that he’ll make sure if I’ll fit for the job or not. Great..:stuck_out_tongue:)Anyway, this guy seemed very anxious while talking to me, and only relaxed after I rolled down my sleeves and moved a little bit away from him (he was sitting diagonally across from me, a table between us). At this point, he also leaned away and relaxed in his chair. Here, I became very self-aware of my own body language and I tried to ease up by smiling a lot, nodding to everything he was saying and paid good attention to him. This seemed to help. However, he was really undeceive about the situation, on one hand, he said he def. needed people like me to “help him out” (stupid, since he doesn’t have the power to hire me anyway, but I guess his input will be important for the boss), and on the other hand, he kept saying "but there are a lot of other people who want this job also, and I think you shouldn’t “wait by the phone, but keep looking”. When I recounted the experience to my SO and her mom, they both said it sounded like the guy felt threatened?

I also remembered one more detail - which was kinda weird - I went into his office and introduced myself and shook his hand (he got up and greeted me). He was busy with something and said he had to finish something up, so he sat back down and finished whatever it was he was doing. I sat down not far from him and waited for about 5 min. Then he got up again and he greeted me again by shaking my hand! Lol. So basically, he said his name twice - and I had to re-introduce myself. It was very awkward as I had just shook his hand 5 min ago. He also grabbed my shoulder on the way out and again shook my hand as I was leaving and said he’d keep in touch. Would you guys consider this something worth noting?

Too bad the meeting I was supposed to go to got cancelled today, as I’m wearing A314 on its own now, but I’m going tomorrow, it’ll be interesting. I’ll report back later.

What gives??

WEEK 1 / Day 3 of testing - UPDATE III

Day II was uneventful so let’s move to today.

OK, this is weird. I’m even more skeptical to pheros now than I was when I was starting out. Bear in mind that I have only used A314 for two days.

So, I drove my mom to the airport today and went into the airport with her to see her off. First thing that happens is a total DIHL (!) - This blonde girl standing maybe 2 meters away from me spots me as we walk into the airport and just stares at me. I’m talking to my mom at this point, trying to figure out where we’re supposed to go, so I didn’t recognize her staring straight away. I did see her from the corner of my eye though and when I turned around, she was still just staring at me. I quickly turned to my mom again and walked away because it was kinda awkward.

After seeing my mom off, I stopped by the kiosk to get myself some snus (snuff for you Americans :slight_smile:) and this blonde girl (yes, a lot of blondes here :slight_smile: ) is in front of me in the queue. I picked up a new brand of snus and I was reading the label so I didn’t notice I was very close to her and she accidentally bumped into me when she turned around. We both apologized (I didn’t even look at her) and I bought my stuff and went on my way.

Now here’s the crux. Normally, at least one of these two events would be considered a hit by people on this forum. The thing is - I wasn’t wearing ANY pheromones! The A314 I put on yesterday surely must have vaporized (and I also had a shower this morning) so I’m sure both incidents were pure accidents. Which leads me to the conclusion; you can experience so-called “hits” without pheromones, and IF you experience them while wearing pheros, you certainly would conclude that it was the pheros doing their thing! However, as my experience today clearly shows, there is no way to tell whether or not things like DIHL will happen with or without pheromones because there is no way to recreate the event. I have realized the only way to be certain that pheromones DO work is to try them in a closed environment in two scenarios as similar to each other as possible. Any thoughts on how to accomplish this? :roll_eyes:

P.S - Going to a meeting now and I’m gonna put on 2 drops of A314, if not for the effects on others, at least for the (placebo?) self-effects. Really wanna try it with TUTH tonight but I’m gonna wait another day or two. Patience is a virtue..!

It is unlikely you will see completely new behaviors when wearing pheromones. What they do is (sometimes dramatically) increase the observd instances of certain types of behaviors. You will never be completely sure any particular behavior was motivated by smelling a pheromone.

With experience, most users get a good feel for what the pheromones are doing. The observations of experienced users have a lot of similarities between themselves.

Definitely felt some self-effects from A314. Felt more confident, almost cocky - like “a million dollars”. Great feeling. Feeling more pleasant / mellow after the Shine. A314 I’m convinced isn’t a placebo effect, the Shine and Instant Openess I’m not so sure about yet.

OK, my GF arrived before I was finished shaving so she sat waiting for me to come down. She was in a good mood and so was I, she made fun of me looking like a boy without my beard (she always does) and we had a good chat and watched some TV while having dinner. Then we went to her place. No appearant reactions here, other than the normal cuddling and chatting, though both of us (especially me) were in a “more than normal” good mood. I couldn’t help feeling “on top of the world” - well groomed and cleanly shaven and all.. anyway, she kept smiling a lot in the beginning, but don’t know if it was because I was looking like an 18 year old without my beard, and I was I was acting pretty vain in front of the mirror fixing my hair.. lol. A314 makes you do strange things huh?

Anyway, here’s the good part. We get to her place and I tell her I have some work to do, so I do my work while she helps her mom with whatever in the kitchen. Later, her mother leaves the house and we’re alone. I finish my work and lay on the couch and she comes and lays next to me. Though I was feeling pretty horny, I didn’t want to initiate anything because I wanted to see if she would. She normally never does. So we lay there for a while and she’s snuggling into my neck area and breathes in a couple of times. She kisses me on the neck / cheek and I’m just laying there, kiss her a couple of times but don’t act all riled up. So we’re watching this show about a grisly murder (not exactly romantic) and she goes; “let’s go upstairs”. I’m like - hold on a minute! Wha..? :smiley: Total hit Robinson! The rest is - as they say - history.

Earlier today, I said I was sceptical about pheros. I still am, but I def. have begun believing in A314. I’m not so sure about the other products, but apart from the blatant self-effects of A314, it really seems to work on my GF. The amount of times she kissed me on the neck and breathed in the scent (though to her, I was only wearing aftershave) clearly indicates that there was something going on - plus the fact that she initiated, something she rarely ever does. Nice! :slight_smile:

Again, not sure about this. Don’t know if I should use more Shine and Openess or less. I really like A314 though, so I think I’m gonna wear that on it’s own from now on, at least till the end of the week. I’m gonna up the dose also, but not tomorrow, as I have a meeting and 2 drops work fine for now.

I love A314. I feel like a gentleman with it. Like a rich bastard with a million dollar smile. The self-effect was not so strong as last time, maybe due to -none build-up. Must take break this weekend from it and start again on Monday. Shine / IO - better mood, smiling a lot, cheerful aura.

Effects to others

A314 is dangerous! Men seems to really be put off by it. I presented my project for a group of six guys, and they all declined eye-contact. Also noticed this at the family dinner gathering thingy. The flip-side is - women seem to LOVE it. One relative of my GF was touching me (in a friendly way) and joking more than usual. No particular attention was paid to me, more than the others at the party, though people seemed to listen more whenever I spoke and “value” my opinion on things.

One def. thing I noticed; one relative, a guy that rarely speaks, was very interested in my opinion on video-cameras as he was buying a new one. I spoke to him for almost 2 hours explaining the differences between cameras and recommending models, all the while he was attentive and really interested in what I had to say. Strange thing is, I have never spoken much with him before and learned that he’s actually a pretty nice guy. Later, my GF and her mom said that he had changed a lot and that he was more extroverted now than before etc. Don’t think this was because of me or the pheros, I think he just has eased up his personality somewhat. The pheros, I think, helped him “come out of his shell” with me though.

GF def. feeling the A314, snuggling to my neck all the time and kissing me a lot more. I deliberately go close and let her snuggle my neck, it works.

Finally IS and IO seems to be working. People are opening up more and GF’s mom really is more attentive to what I have to say and listens more to my opinions. Sprayed one spray of IS this morning and had a long talk with GF’s mom for breakfast. Very nice.

Additional notes

I think 3 drops of A314 could be my sweet spot. Have to overdo it and OD to be sure. Will try 4 drops someday, but I think I’ll stay off the A314 for the rest of the week (though I don’t want to, I just love the self-effects of this product) - and just go for IS and IO to see what happens. Will try a lot of it (3-4 sprays of each). Next week I’ll be testing AMMO and TUTH. Can’t wait!

Hey Canon, saw your post in the A314 section and came to check out your journal. Good stuff! Just keep going slow and easy. Don’t expect IO and Ishine to be like A314. They are great but the effects seem, to me, to come from a different direction so to speak. I don’t really know how to explain it, just keep your mind as open as possible.

It’s a fact that a lot of reported “hits” are placebo effects or just random occurrences. That’s why it’s best to read lots of reports so you can start to see the small patterns that emerge and not just the wild “hits”. I shot ya some rep points in the A314 forum. Keep up the great work!

Hi Renny, thanks for the input - appreciated. I am a very open-minded person (otherwise I’d never even try this stuff :slight_smile: ) but I’m not sure how much effect SOME of the products have. A314 is the only product I def. feel the self-effects from (and though they might be somewhat placebo, there’s def. something in it that makes you “the man” as people said it would). I think I need another base for IS and IO, I’ll try it with Ammo next week, but first I’m gonna try Ammo on it’s own for a day or two.

Well, here’s the low-down of what happened on friday, which concludes this week of testing as I have lain off the stuff for Sat / Sun.

I experienced a lot of negative effects this time - don’t know if I OD’ed, but first off, the hostess was really ignoring me: for example, she didn’t talk to me at all during the dinner, though I was sitting right across the table from her. I tried to have a friendly chat but was largely ignored - she has never acted this way toward me before (last time, she was asking me all sorts of stuff and was really in a good mood). People in general were not chatting much with me. Not only that, after dinner, we switched seats and I wanted to see if I was really putting the hostess off - so I moved to the seat next to her. Her hubby made coffee and she poured coffee to everyone around her except me! She apologized when she saw me pouring a cup myself, and mumbled something that “she forgot me” - is this the ghosting effect people talk about? Some of the kids that were there were also kinda rude towards me - they usually love me, but now they were acting kinda stupid throwing stuff at me and etc. Usually don’t happen. Didn’t know pheros could affect children? :stuck_out_tongue:

IS and IO is supposed to be ice breakers and make people relaxed and talkative. Now they were really giving me a hard time! Did I OD? Don’t know. All I know is that it’s weird that these social pheromones messed up so bad. I was in a good mood, and “ready for action” but I got totally ghosted! :frowning:

All in all, I think I need the A314 with the IS and IO. Either that, or tone it down to 1-2 sprays of each. Didn’t like this experience at all, felt like I wasn’t even there.. :frowning:

hey Canon,

Don’t think you OD’d don’t see any reason why you would with these products. Were these the same people that you had dinner with in your previous report? Maybe she noticed your change in signature, not wearing the A314, and she considered your value to have dropped or changed.
