Does anybody use Windows IE Mobile to post to the forum? I can log in and read the forum but can’t use the reply window (the window I’m typing in now) to enter messages. I can’t figure out if it’s a setting I need to change or what. I asked about it in the forum for my phone and they seemed to think the best thing would be to switch browsers. Any ideas? I have a sprint Mogul running IE mobile 6.
That’s the reason you didn’t hear much from me for the past month or so. I was only checking the forum with my “Tilt” with IE on Mobile 6, and couldn’t get a curser in the message area of the reply ( though you can change the title). The other thing was the red “latest posts” thingie that crawls across the screen “piles up” in Mobile 6.
Yes indeedy, I had no idea how big that red crawler was until until I had to start scolling past it every page. Luckily I can “flick” scroll now which is cool but not as useful as i-phone makes it look on tv. idk. glad I’m not the only one, thanks mtnjim.
I’m using opera mini, works perfect for reading and posting.
Having same problem with renny. Can read and open thread but cannot post a reply. I am using WM6
Like jrafael said get opera mini…it works, I’ve got to reinstall mine but I tried it and liked it.
Or “Minimo” the mobile version of Firefox.
MInimo is a great alternative to IE for WM6.0. I would almost recommend that over Opera, just because Opera does not have as many options for customizing. I have used many a WM device over my career in the wireless industry. Right now im sitting on an LG-VX10000 (Voyager) and I love it. Verizon Wireless exclusive.
