Hello. My name is Christopher. I am Asian, 32, live in Portland and am a call-center worker. I’m interested in the effects of pheromones in social situations. I am painfully shy and recently discovered that as I am getting older I’ve gone from having women ignore me all together to women being repulsed. I’m not very attractive and while I have the good sense to maintain personal grooming and hygeine I have noticed situations where it seems as if women go out of their way to avoid me, which kinda hurts. As someone who is really shy, I don’t think that I engage in behaviors that would chase them away. I do look a lot but exercise control when doing so. I don’t think I leer nor gaze lustfully at chests nor backsides.
I spoke to a friend recently. We both ended up taking public transit for a while and he had complained that random strangers would start up conversation with him out of the blue, both males and females. I had NEVER had a similar situation and wondered why that might be. He’s a heavier guy than I am and has a lot of body art, (which I do not have). While thinking about that, I came across a television program on Discovery that dealt with the science of attraction in the animal world. Fresh in my mind I stumbled across the site while looking for online deals on my favorite fragrance Acqua di Gio. I had read the Noob pher bootcamp where it was suggested that one order a To-Go bottle of ammunition to discover what pheromones can do. I went on to the website but Ammo was out so I ordered TUTH instead. I got some To-Go of IS and IO to counterbalance the reported negatives of TUTH and also because I am aware that confidence is a huge problem for me. I plan to put myself in social situations using the pheromones and see if they affect me positively. I am an Asian male, 32, so I suspect based on the research I had done to this point that my body is probably not producing a lot on its own. My blood type is A+, (I think) so not sure how that would effect production. I can see that a great number of people on the forum swear by these products.
Initially I plan to do my own research. I really need to be more self aware and more observant during the research that I do. I plan to go to the same bars that I have gone to before using them and see what if any effects pheromones would have. I have only ever been hit on once at a bar in recent memory. I was reading a book about shyness and a rather attractive woman took notice and approached me and asked about the book. Of course, being me, I blew it, (got a number left a message and that was the end of it).
Now I don’t expect this to change my life. Best case scenario I get a little more positive interaction when I go to bars. If it does end up leading to positive reactions I will likely get A314 for the work place and some Ammo if/when it becomes available. I really wish AMMO had been available as from the way I understand what I’ve been reading AMMO helps one to be more appealing to women while TUTH makes one seem horny which really isn’t go to do much good to me as women don’t generally find me attractive in the first place.
I really look forward to trying out the product. If it has any effect at all, it will make for an interesting psych/social science project.
My questions for the experts are: 1) does wearing pheromones have an effect on the natural bodily production of pheromones? If so, do you produce more or less? 2)As someone who smokes how does smoking effect use. Before I became a smoker I had a sense that the first scent given off by smokers was an ash tray smell. Now I plan to quit, but how much if any does the smell of stale cigarette hinder/accentuate effective use? I’ve noticed that my own sense of smell is GREATLY decreased by smoking does this mean that women who smoke will have a much harder time being affected?

To answer a few questions…if I’m not mistaken, pheromone sprays do not affect how much or what you naturally produce. That being said, you need to be aware that since you are asian and getting older (not that 32 is old) you are producing less -none pheromone naturally, so the TUTH will help with that. Just don’t spray it on your clothes or hair…it’s very hard to get out.
As a non-smoker, I can tell you that you that the smell of cigarettes, cigars, etc is very noticeable, and depending on what you smoke the smell can go from bad to worse. I did not date smokers for that reason…plus kissing a smoker is like licking an ashtray. The pheromone sprays themselves will buffer the smell a little, but you may just end up smelling like you smoke in a flower shop. The only thing I’ve found that gets rid of the smoke smell is quitting, or wearing way too much cologne, which could be a turn off as well. Female smokers may be less aware of the smell due to their noses being pre-conditioned to ignore it.
One last thing…you mentioned you are very shy. The pheromones won’t help unless you play the part! Using TUTH but sitting by yourself in a corner will only confuse women more…they will detect the pheromones, but your actions will conflict with what their brains are telling them. It is said that these pheromones are here to give us an edge, not make the whole deal. The IS and IO might help you a little, but you have to be willing to leave your area of comfort and go be social.

You’ve chosen some good phero’s too, I think you’ll do well with those. I think you might want to hold off a little with the TUTH though. It IS very blatantly sexual, so if you aren’t in a sexually charged environment (eg the bedroom or nightclub etc) you can easily send the wrong signals.
Besides… the socials are not to be underestimated! Especially not if you want to get more attention and interaction with women. A lot of guys are surprised by how well the socials work, often they actually are more effective than the sexual phero’s. It’s simple really…us women LOVE to talk It’s also worth mentioning that women & men are very different in their approach to sex… Men need sex to feel intimacy…women need to feel intimacy to want sex
I wouldn’t be so quick to say that… There are many of us here on the forum that have seen their lives change significantly for the better with the help of phero’s. I’m one of them
My situation is similar to yours in that I’m not a natural alpha personality, I’m rather reserved and shy. I know you mentioned that women avoid you and that they aren’t attracted to you but I honestly don’t think that’s the root of it. With the risk of sounding vain or abit up myself, I am a very pretty girl. I know what I see when I look in the mirror, but I still experienced the same as you… Guys NEVER approached me, doesn’t matter if it was in the pub or casually in the grocery store, I was never approached, and I’ve not once been asked out on a date. Until now that is… Phero’s have made a huge difference in my life and it’s certainly not that I suddenly look prettier, it’s that the phero’s are helping me break out of my shell. I think that if someone is really shy and reserved they just seem unapproachable. It’s amazing what a confidence boost can do… I walk confidently with phero’s, I make eyecontact & I smile…that’s made all the difference
I don’t smoke myself so I can’t tell you from my own experience, but many member seem to report that phero’s work better or faster on people who don’t smoke. If you continue to smoke you might possibly not get self effects as great as if you’d quit, but the phero’s still work on those around you.
I think you’re going to be pleasantly surprised by the results that you get from A314, TUTH, or AMMO, whatever you decide to get. They will not change others, or their social conditioning, but they will encourage people to act according to a set of suggestions that each phero puts out there. It’s important to have realistic expectations, of course.
You’re likely not producing much androstenone at all, due to race and age. If you’re looking to be convinced about the effectiveness of pheros, you might try to get your hands on some Instant Jerk. It gives a very noticeable effect. Sometimes it’s not an entirely good one. There is enough -none in there to cause irritability and anger in other males, in some circumstances. But it might convince you that they really do work.
Welcome to the forums. If you are self-conscious and nervous around women, that in itself sends a negative vibe. You can’t do anything about your looks, but you can do something about your personality. There’s various methods for dealing with it like Sedona Method, EFT or whatever to get you to relax, but you’ll need to actually start approaching. Looking (even if it’s not in a creepy way) and not approaching seems a bit creepy to women. I find that Instant Gentleman helps me with this.
