Cleaning off EoW..

Hello everyone, I have a question for you.
How do you remove EoW, so it no longer smells? I’m not asking about a way to cover it, just how to remove it, because the smell kind of gets to you after a little while, just becomes annoying.
Even after I take a shower, and rubbed down the application points with hydrogen peroxide and isopropyl alcohol it still smells. I’ve already used the coffee-can method, that helps ‘reset’ your sense of smell, but I can still smell it.

Any advice?,
Dominick

try some sodium hydroxide…

Sandpaper?

EoW is a sticky bugger, ain’t it. That’s why I NEVER spray it in my hair. Ew.

Try one of those scrubbie sponges and perhaps an antibacterial soap. That may work. Just be sure to keep antibacterial soap away from your pits and down there…if not it’ll make short order of your “natural” pheromones.

with the procedures your already trying,
it wont be long before your natural body-chemistry replaces lost oils with your own, and the scent will leave after that.
its right now sticking to an oiless surface :frowning:

give it another few EoWy hours.

what about petZyme? being composed of fatty acids, I also wonder about using something baking-soda ish. sodium hydroxide is used in making soap and is really high on the ph scale, but sodium bicarbonate is lower on the ph scale, and might do better at neutralizing the active ingreidients.

awesome idea, and it cant hurt… right?

you can drink baking soda.. gets rid of upset stomach. brush your teeth with it. mix it with castor oil and put it on moles… kill candida… nothing it can’t do. just make sure it says sodium bicarbonate on the box(arm and hammer pure baking soda) some of the baking sodas have aluminum in them.

That the only kind I get ‘arm and hammer’ I’ll try that next time, if I have plans with someone soon, and don’t want to smell like sex around them, I’ll try baking soda or maybe the scrubbie brush, but I have sensitive skin.. wont the srubbie brush hurt :open_mouth:

Not a brush! :open_mouth: Sorry, Domnk, I shoulda been more specific. Perhaps “scrubbie” was too harsh a word. Try something like a loofah sponge…loofah on one side… sponge on the other. Use it gently with whatever cleanser you think is best.

A common way to avoid dry skin, in general, is to use a nice moisturizing body lotion, daily, right after you get out of the shower. I do. Putting it on with your skin still damp helps to hold the moisture to your skin as well. If you keep your skin from drying out to begin with, you shouldn’t have trouble washing off the Eow.

EoW is a combination of fatty acids, sulphur-benzene compound, and indole. The way to remove it is with a fat-based lotion, or you can use butter, even to dissolve the fatty acids part. Then use hydrogen peroxide to open the benzene ring and release the sulphur. After you let the hydrogen peroxide sit wet on your skin for about 20 minutes, you can wash with regular soap.

Diane

So, apply fat-based lotion, never heard of that, or butter to my application points and then, wash it off before letting the hydrogen peroxide soak into my skin? And then wash with soap… wow, it wouldn’t be that bad if it weren’t for the butter, and fat-based lotion :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, alright that sound much less painful :stuck_out_tongue:, thanks.

Thank you, Bella,
I’ll try that.

A fat based lotions would contain an oil like grapeseed, sunflower, jojoba or shea butter. Just check out the ingredients, they’re not hard to find.

Bella

coconut butter or oil would work, too, and it smells nice.

Diane

Thanks, appreciate all the suggestions\advice.

Diane, thank you so much for that explanation. That makes a lot of sense, and so simple to execute. Reps!

Can I ask how much you put on, Domnk? I’ve never had this problem.

It was just a self-effects test, so it was one drop without any cover to my finger then applied it above my upper lip to have constant test results, which by the way isn’t that bad (smell-wise) because your nose gets used to it and you barely smell it anymore, and had no problem removing it from the application point, but my finger still wreaked of EoW. I washed my entire hand like 6 times, used rubbing alcohol, and hydrogen peroxide, nothing worked. I even made sure it wasn’t my other application point by using the coffee can method.

P.S.
The self-effects were kind of strange, like the effects were sexual, but an apprehensiveness of those sexual reactions were present. It was like my body was responding to stimuli my brain doesn’t like.

coconut oil is good ( doesn’t really expire easily and has a lot of benifical aspects in general 14 for a mayo sized thing of it at whole foods yummy and smells wonderful cooking wise and on skin.) but another fatty oil if you’re desperate and have one handy is avocado. Olive oil which a lot of people have in their kitchen is not only a good makeup remover but might help with the eow.

Any one have dose tips on eow?

Diane i love your chemistry explanation.

Domnk reps for the question knowing how to remove copulins in general will be helpful later on eow or androtics.
(hint hint ^.^)

Ay-yup :stuck_out_tongue:

even a funky copulin-ish blend like EOW can be strangely compelling, tripping those ancient triggers against your will!
