Could it be pheromones?

One of my relatives’ fiance seems to make me nervous. I don’t find her attractive, but when in her close vicinity, I just get nervous for some reason. I have no idea why. It’s not attraction nervousness either. I don’t think I smell anything in particularly, but the only thing that comes to mind is that it could be pheromones.

Because honestly, I don’t get nervous like this around anyone. Have any of you had an experience like this where the only logical explanation was that maybe that person who is making you feel ----- is using pheromones? It’s kind of weird.

Could it be the pressure to not mess with a relative’s fiance? That could be what’s gnawing at your mind.

If he’s not attracted, where’s the pressure? Could be pheros. Either her wearing them or her having naturally high levels. Not sure which it would be though.

It could be that she is a natural alpha female.Just a random thought.

I don’t know, nerves equate to attractiveness usually. I’ve noticed exposure to synthetic pheromones makes one more subtlety aware of natural signatures.

…maybe she’s the wrong blood type for you.

I think it’s impossible to think she might be wearing pheromones. It’d definitely because of her blood type. You two are probably genetically incompatible. That’s why she makes you nervous. If anyone makes you nervous like that, you should probably avoid them since the two of you are genetically incompatible. You might catch a blood type specific disease that the other person is immune to. Need to be very careful these days..what with my fragile diet and the like. Especially if someone thinks I’m too intimidating because I’m tall for an asian…

Heh, sorry that was drawn out too long. I’d agree with Eldros, the taboo of a taken woman is strong. We want what we can’t have. Also, sometimes we don’t think there’s much attraction to begin with, but if you get close enough, suddenly you find there is an incredible amount of attraction.

I don’t know if this is a good example or if my friends just dating hos, but I remember one of my friend’s gf’s not looking that attractive at first, but when we walked closer together, I could see that there was significant chemistry between us that neither one of us anticipated. It made things really awkward for a while..

You probably won’t be nervous anymore after you get used to her presence. If it doesn’t go away, it may then be pheros

It’s not “blood type”, it’s immune systems compatibility. Perhaps her immune system is too similar to yours.

Ohh I know.. I was joking.

Interesting. I have the same problem with My Doctor. Thing is I am in no way attracted to her (being about 30 years older than me and all) and she is the kindest person you could meet but for whatever reason I get nervous to the point of my voice noticibly shaking. Whether its a biological reason or if I am affraid of her authority (I wouldnt think so as police, my managers etc dont intimidate me…)

I wonder…

Don’t ever knock them Cougars young man.She could be interested in you or it could be a unspoken interest she has that is being repressed due to her current circumstances.

Thanks for all the responses, those were pretty interesting. Yeah, it’s weird. I think it’s just an awkwardness because as much as I hate to say it, it almost feels like she’s attracted to me or we both are very slightly, which is so very weird. You really had me going on the blood types thing, I didn’t realize you’re joking, so I Googled it and after a little while I realized you’re joking. LOL.

I don’t wear pheromones that often any more, and didn’t wear them while this was going on. I think hopefully it’s just an awkwardness that will go away hopefully.
