Hi all, another noob question here again. I was browsing through old posts, and I read something regarding covering up ur phero products with cologne/perfume. With the phero products, how exactly do u cover the scents with other smells without reducing the effectiveness of the diffusion? Would adding cologne affect the way the pheros diffuse through the air?? Thanks agin for the help, really appreciate it 
As long as the scent you use to cover is not oil based it wont slow diffusion. In alot of cases it actually help it.
I dont know about the men but alot of the ladies like Pink sugar to cover there mones and it works great because people generally love the scent so they will tend to take a wiff of you more and end up getting effects from your mones.

how do we know if our fragrances are oil based or not?? Most of the time it’s alcohol, does alcohol affect it too btw??

Most colognes are in an alcohol carrier. Oil carriers feel oily, and usually come in a roll-top dispenser or with a dauber to dab bits of the oil on. If it has a spray top it’s probably in an alcohol carrier.

How do I apply cologne with pheros though, do I spray the cologne on top of the pheros, should I wait until the pheros dry first??
I just put on the pheromones, then the cologne on top without waiting.

I used to look for about this issue. Now I’m just spraying an alcohol carrier cologne where i applied the phero. It works!

Yes most colognes are alcolol based. Im Sorry I should have been more clear in my post above:o Alot of people like to use Essential oils instead of colognes. Like GWW said they mostly come in roll top bottles and are oily so you will know the difference. I hardly ever use perfume or colognes just EO’s or fragrance oils. It will slow diffusion but not stop it entirely and I dont apply my mones in the same place I apply the oils all of the time. Still masks the mone smell fine and seems to last longer for me.
When I do cover mones I will wait for it to dry down first but only if the smell of the mone product bothers me. It seems to cover better that way.

Is Issey Miyake: Intense a good cover scent?
Ressurecting this one from the depths because I’m curious about Issey Miyake Intense as well. I just ordered some after several people recommended it to me. Gegogi, I know you’re a big IM fan. Have you used Intense as a cover, and if so, how well does it work?
