Crazy day at work...INSANE

I work at Abercrombie & Fitch as most of you know. For those of you who don’t know, it’s a clothing store that sells typically preppy/expensive clothes to young adults and teens. Everything at work was fine, until this insane incident. There were 3 hispanic males that entered our store. One was a middle aged man (mid 40s looking) and the other 2 were teens. One of the teens walked into our store with a store bag, so we already knew something was suspicious. Our manager asked him if he needed him, and was wanting to return or exchange something, and he replied, “no I’m fine thankyou..I just want to look around”. My manager replied nicely back and left him alone, but stayed put and kept a close eye on him. The older hispanic male spoke only in spanish and was asking us questions in spanish which none of us knew, and wanted a spanish speaking worker to assist him. So there was 3 workers around him and nobody knew spanish, but we were friendly and trying to assist him, and knew our manager spoke spanish, so he came by to help. He asked 1 or 2 questions, said (gracias, adios), which means, thankyou goodbye. The teen with the bag walked out and the store alarm rang off. :open_mouth:

My manager’s birthday is today, and he says to me and the rest of us..“oh fuck this shit, today is my birthday and there is no way in hell somebody is going to ruin my day and get away with this shit”. :angry:

He started to run after him, even though its our store policy to leave customers alone once they leave the store with a stolen item, and just call mall security. He yelled loudly at him, which could he heard from the store and said “what the fuck are you doing asshole, give this shit back”, and snatched the bag from him. One part of the bag handle ripped off and part of the bag as well, and the guy didn’t resist, and just let the bag hit the floor and walked off. Him and another co-worker ran after him and his friends, while myself and others took care of the stolen items and returned them to our store. Overall they tried to steal over $2000 worth of cologne.

One of the guys wrote down his license plate number as they were getting away, so they will most likely be caught, prosecuted, and end up in jail. The end.

Wow, sorry things were so crazy. Hopefully that sort of thing doesn’t happen often and won’t happen again. It’s late and my mind is jumping around, and went back to that 5000mcg/spray androstenone thread, and I decided that one day, I’ll buy such a bottle (well, of course I will since I’ll need it for research and the eventual takeover of Androtics) and whenever something like that happens, I’ll spritz on a couple of sprays, confront them, and probably scare the [expletive censored by PheroTalk forum moderator, but not really] out of the perpetrator.

Sorry to hear about that incident that happened at your work place buddy, it seems that those three guys have done some careful planning to steal stuff from your place for some time. They try to keep you guys busy while their other guy do the stealing. They will get what they deserved later as your guy managed to written down their license plate number.

Well just asking buddy is theft or robbing very rampant in Texas?

No, not really. I would say theft in Texas is as common as theft anywhere else in the U.S. or parts of the world…There are evil crooks and thieves everywhere. :frowning:

Had a friend at Loss Prevention for big companies. He brought home some tapes of crazy thievery. FYI, they use codes for all our races.

you know, a code number instead of “Follow that black guy”. My friend was pretty racist so he used the code outside of work.

Oh i see, i gotta to agreed with you buddy that there is evil crooks & thieves everywhere in the world but the crime rate here in Singapore is not bad as the police force here do routine checks in their police cars around the country :slight_smile:
