Venue: Cadillac Ranch Restaurant / Bar / Club
Temp: Vegas. It is extremely hot but it’s a dry heat, but then so is an oven and you don’t wanna put your head in there do you?
I entered the club, decided to be real chatty from the get go, I opened a few sets but that didn’t seem to go anywhere.
I was starting to get hungry so I planted myself at the bar located next to the dance floor and ordered some grub.
Guy next to me opens me and we have a small discussion, nothing big, I go back to drinking my beer and wait for my food to arrive.
Cute little blonde 26 years walks up and starts to talk to the guy next to me. Her back is to me, as far as I know, she hasn’t seen me yet, she stops right in the middle of a sentence, turns around, sticks out her hand and says, “Hi, I’m Monica. What’s your name?”
And then it begins…
She is there with her boyfriend, they are there to see a band he’s friended on FB.
The girl is talking my ear off, about anything and everything and about 10 mins into the conversation just stops and says, “we should exchange numbers.” About half an hour later, she’s given me her email addy and has asked me to friend her on FB as well.
Before it’s all over with, I know this girls personal history. She’s a former dancer, I told you she’s cute. She’s a recovering addict and is going through a program to get her kids back.
Too much drama for me…LOL I’ve got enough of my own.
Now she wasn’t the only one talking me up. At one point she goes off to the dance floor to dance, and now it’s her boyfriend’s turn to talk my ear off.
When he’s done, the guy that was sitting next to me who happened to work for them, starts in on me. All 3 of these people talked to me non-stop all night long, sharing all kinds of personal info, their hopes, their dreams, their failures…LOL.
I had a great time, they were a fun group of people and would hang out with them again. But I don’t think I’m gonna be calling the cutie to hang out on her own anytime soon. 
Other hits included two cougars who kept walking by me, checking me out, smiling etc. One would walk by me, and look at me every time as if she were lost, didn’t know why she ended up back there again and again. Beautiful women, but not my style.
I did make one more attempt at opening a four set. Got in a great qualifier when they were ordering and the bartender looked at me and I said, “I’m just waiting to see what drink these ladies are buying me.”
My target was “offended,” but her girlfriend kept eyeballing me, smiling, and then tried to work me for a drink and I told her, “I’m not that kinda guy.”
