Curious: will the alcohol in perfume kill pheromones?

I was just thinking… There are a lot of ingrediences in perfume, and some have a lot of alcohol in them. Will the alcohol “kill” pheromones?

Many pheromones are suspended in an alcohol base. Not sure if this answer is absolute, but that would lead me to believe they survive in alcohol.

Aha, then it sounds safe to use alcoholic perfume :slight_smile:

  2. they are just odor molecules the same as many perfume ingredients
