I got Ammox2 in Akuto this time. I wasn’t sure about the scent and ended up choosing light instead of cologne strength.
That may have been a mistake. Then again maybe not. I applied it for the first time now and while I hadn’t yet found one AD product I didn’t think smelled great, this one I’m not sure about. At first I thought it smelled bad, a little bit like…cat food. Could that be the none?
I’ve never detected it before but this being lightly scented and double strength could change things.
After just a couple of minutes the smell vanished though. I covered it with a spray of ISx2 just in case.
I’ll have to judge by people’s reactions during the day if I went wrong with the customization or not.
It’s been widely documented here that the scents smell different depending on which molecule is used.
Androstenone, and Androstenol (there could be more, I’ve only smelled these two without added cover) both are unpleasant IMO. Having those scents mixed in with Akuto, Neroli, FF21, etc.. will give it a specific smell, depending on the concentrations as well. If I were you, I would just buy PA with Akuto scent and layer that on after the AMMO.

I didn’t notice any smell whatsoever after a few minutes though, and haven’t seen any negative effects in those around me. I think it will be fine as is, but I’ll add some PA with Akuto to my next order just in case.
Ammo is designed to be a cologne, we offered lightly scented because of such a high demand - but I made sure to make people aware in that announcement thread that its supposed to be a cologne.
Some Akuto cover scent will surely remedy it, though.
I’ve used the stuff a few times now and the (lack of) scent doesn’t seem to be any problem at all. I still smell it right upon application but in just a minute or so, when it’s dried down, I can’t detect it anymore.
No one keeps any unusual distance or backs away from me, which I’d expect would occur at least once in a while if I were stinky, so I think this was a good buy.
I think I’ll order double strength default Ammo next time though, I miss that scent now. Probably because of all the nice memories.
