I’m a relative newbie to the Androtics phero world (3+ months) but being smack dab in middle of Ammo testing I have to wonder if there was ever a time in AMMO’s decorated past if it ever was offered in something less strong in terms of strength and if that is something people would want.
I think most people will agree that AMMO is awesome. It just does a nice job in communicating that you are clean, fun and generally disease free. That already puts us in the 90% range so I’m not complaining.
However the most common complaint and I include myself as the chief initiator of said complaint is that AMMO’s scent is too strong and smells like detergent.
I’m wondering what a 6% option would do to this. In my opinion it would then just feel like you were wearing washed clothes and can put whatever scent you want on top of it like you would with Instant Shine or IO/IH.
AD used to have a custom scent option for less, different or no fragrance. You might wanna check. You had to pay extra for the custom mix but it’s worth it if stock doesn’t tickle your pickle.
I really liked the original Ammo scent but the recent one smells like sour fruit after dry-down. I’m still hoarding some PheroProof with original Ammo scent…
Nah, Ammo was released as a flagship product, it’s meant to be cologne strength to cover it’s own mones as well as any others you may be using.
Now I WOULD like it available in other scents besides FF21 and FF22 (yeah I know I can customize it but it’s a little pricey when you want to buy other mones as well.
Personally I’d love it in Akuto, and I’m curious about the FF20 scent.
I used FF22 last night and realized that it is actually really nice! Spray to wrist and then rubbed it all over neck! You smell less but still good that way!
You can make it custom scented too! You just pay 15 to 25$ more though…
With all this talk about how FF21 smells like detergent I was wondering if the smell actually REPELS people in general? If it doesn’t then it is ok with me. There is a big difference in me not liking the smell and women not liking it.
The question is is FF21 a hit with the ladies? All you current FF21 users do you get compliments from it from women? I’ve checked out the AMMO reviews but they are mostly based on the original great smelling scents. Also paying another $20 to $25 is a big price to pay unless the scent really sucks.
How hard is it to bring back the original scent since people liked it so much???
Its really hard if the fragrance itself can no longer be manufactured for us due to regulations. We do not use pre-made fragrances, we have custom fragrances that are made for us. (We don’t just squirt some axe into a jug or something lol)
We looked into other manufacturers that have alternatives but it just never came out right and many were cost prohibitive. We moved along to another scent that I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on. There’s a whole thread about it (the old scent was game, I assume you mean).
And the customization price is based on the formulator having to create a “one-off” product. We don’t just have a stock laying around of multiple variations unless they are part of our store. If you want your own scent we make it custom to ensure that the formula is right.
We don’t have every variation stockpiled as there could be numerous combinations and I think people would rather have their product hand-made with detail from scratch. I would, anyway.
Well Leaf, if you use the customisation link above, you can get it in the same scent as IS - For 5 dollars more at standard strength or 5 less for light.
Although there may be a slight variation in the scent due to the different mones/steering molecules but this is inevitable with phero mixes.
I’m very happy that I was able to get Ammo in 6% Neroli for only a $15 customization charge. Get that via the “Custom Additions” link on the left of the web site. I’ve just standardized getting everything in 6% Neroli so I can mix and match and not OD on cologne. Neroli is pretty uncontroversial and it mixes well with commercial colognes (well, some of them at least) for when you really care about the fragrance.
I got double strength Ammo in 6% akuto but I thought it needed more scent, so I later got PA akuto in 20% strength to use as cover.
One problem is, on the invoice it says akuto 20% but on the bottle it says 6%. Which is it? I don’t know how strong a smell to expect from 20% so I’m really unsure. I’ve used it though and it seems to cover sufficiently.
No one has complimented the scent of the akuto heavy ammo, which has been done frequently of regular ammo, so I’ve ordered the original since. My sweet spot seems to be three sprays so the heavy stuff may not be ideal for me and the original scent seems to work well for that particular mix of mones.
