Diary of a Real-Life Fat Princess

One day, not so long ago, my (soon to be ex) husband brought home a video game called Fat Princess. And yes, it’s about fat princesses. There are two princesses from neighboring kingdoms; best friends, of course. They go walking in the magic forest, and find the most delicious pieces of cake growing randomly from the earth, as cake does in games. They start eating, and it’s so yummy that they cannot stop! The kings drag their daughters home, but they are so fat that no prince will marry them!
So each king comes up with a cunning plan: kidnap the other king’s daughter, and feed her cake so she stays fat, while his own daughter stays thin and wins the hand of the prince.
Cute! :stuck_out_tongue:

Now, once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess who wandered into the Forest of Depression. She saw delicious, yummy goodies everywhere, but managed to restrain herself. She was not the coolest princess in the land, nor the most popular. But she was lucky, and met a handsome prince, and they fell in love. They went through many trial to prove their love to each other, and got married. And I would like to say they lived happily ever after, but that’s not how it went (plus the story would be very boring if it did)…

The prince and princess had moved far away, you see, to a foreign land. Tragedy struck! The princess was kidnapped by an evil psychiatrist who, for no good reason, changed her medication. Suddenly, it was like everything she ate was made of magic cake! She gained twenty kg’s (44 lb) in two months! Even living off salads made no difference. She was rescued and restored to her normal medication, but the taint persisted - she steadily ate herself into fatness over the next few years. Lost in Forest of Depression, and the Bogs of Despair, she gave up hope, and her self-esteem. No matter what she tried - diets, exercise, meditation, changing jobs - she could not find her way out! There was just not enough mental energy and motivation left after getting through each day to make changes.

And so, she lost her prince.

The shock of losing her Knight was quite great, but the Fat Princess decided that, at 34 years of age, she had better get her act together or she was going to spend the rest of life with her two new best friends, Fatness and Misery. She got her own mansion (castles being too expensive for one person, even princesses). She searched far and wide across the land for a new medication that would work better for her, and improve her motivation. Luckily, she found a new remedy, which worked wonderfully. Suddenly, she was able to stay on a healthy eating plan, go to gym, and more importantly, go out and make new friends.

Yet, something was still missing. She still felt insecure and shy. But lady Luck was smiling on her: one night, while reading in her Secret Tome of the Internet, she came across mentions of a mythical substance known as pheromones. Entranced by this idea, she searched far and wide for anyone who knew about these wonderful potions.

At last, she found a community which harbored many sages, wise men and women, versed in the sorcery of pheromones. Excited by the awesome-ness of these people, and the excitement of new discoveries, she invested almost immediately in the enchanted potions of Instant Shine, Instant Openness and Instant honesty. And so, (eagerly awaiting her new purchases) she set out to learn all she could from them, and stepped into a new part of her life as a single-once-again, bachelorette princess.

Welcome! Good luck with the Instant Shine, Instant Openess and Instant Honesty. I love those! I also think you might want to try some Instant Sexiness B. You say you still feel insecure and shy. When I wear IS/b, I feel like I can conquer the world. I have likened wearing it to the difference between having your own evil minions and BEING an evil minion! And no princess should BE a minion!I really love the stuff, and MX397 with a couple of sprays of Instant Shine makes me feel uber-confident and upbeat, too. Without the Instant Shine, it can make me really impatient and irritable at people. MX397 SMELLS soooooooooo good, too!

There are some awesome people here who will give you lots of great advice and have tons of wisdom. Make sure you read the Stickies, there is a lot in there that is very helpful. Good luck!

Chanuki, I’m so glad you found this forum! You are definitely in the right place, with lots of real people who really care about each other!

And you are an excellent writer, what a fabulous first post for your journal!!!

Hi
Thanks for taking the time to read through it, and reply. I’ll definitely be reading up more, and checking out some other ladies’ journals to figure out how to use these things!

So, my three little bottles of Instant have arrived in Hong Kong, and should get to Taiwan latest next week. I’m really hoping they arrive Saturday, since I’m going out with some friends and I am super interested to start testing them! I feel like putting about 10 exclamation marks here, but will restrain myself - being an English teacher I’m a bit of a grammar freak :stuck_out_tongue:

Mainly, I wanted to write this second post in plain-speak to make it clear that I know pheromones aren’t a cure-all, and certainly not a replacement for medications given by a doctor or other medical professional. I’m also going to give a detailed description of the anti-depressants I’ve been on, but feel free to skip that part! I’m reasonably well-versed in psychology, and I have been on meds, and in therapy for many years, so I know the do’s and don’ts for my condition (plain old clinical depression, luckily).

Any suggestions as to which one I should try out first? I’m currently just interested in attracting a little more attention to myself, getting people to open up a bit more, that kind of thing. Advice would be greatly appreciated!

I loved your intro post as well. I also was the culprit of nominating it for the TOTW award.

To understand the mechanics of the sorcery of pheromones, my recommendation is for you to try out IO. You will be amazed by the awesome-ness of the reactions from this gem of a mone.
One of the primary requirements of IO, really, to squeeze out blatant effects like others spilling their guts all over you, would be smiling. Smiling warmly and honestly. That’s it. What an image, but, I’ve had it happen too many times that I need to get my work/errands/etc done and IO puts a wrench in the works by having me to Slow down to get give others the attention they crave from me.

Personally, I started out with IShine. It’s still one of my fave mones, in my top 3 must haves… It is, my amazing in a bottle, my enchanted potion!

I’m curious, Chanuki, what was the new remedy that got you motivated to get healthy and social?

I’d like to start today’s entry off by saying thank you, again, to everyone who’e been in contact with me for the warm welcome. I’ve been having a bit of an emotional roller-coaster week, but seeing the note in my email saying someone’s contacted me just makes the sun rise for me!

I’ve been doing some reading, and I think I’ll go with your suggestion, 1Alpha - using IO first. I am generally friendly, and I do smile lots - I tend to use what I have, and people have said I have a nice smile, so 1 up for me already. I’ll do some test runs with IO first, in social situations. IS will probably be next, and I’ll keep IH for last, or if I get that guy alone somewhere :stuck_out_tongue:

Kitty, I’ll reply in full when I detail my various trips through Medical Wonderland, but the short version is that I found an antidepressant that really works with my brain / body chemistry. A lot of people assume that all meds are equal and have the same effects, but they don’t. Each medication is specialized. Most can be used to treat several problems, but most are more effective in one area that others. Also, each person’s chemistry, life-style and needs are different, so they react differently to drugs.

I am currently on Welbutrin. A friend of mine was on it, but the doctor took her off it within 2 weeks, because she because super aggressive. But for me, it lifted the fog that was dampening down my motivation, my enjoyment of life. Basically, it does what it’s supposed to, for me. I experience almost no side effects, which is a bonus. I am not kidding or being metaphorical in any way when I say that I can actually perceive more colors, taste more flavors, and feel a greater range of normal emotions. It is one of the better choice I’ve made lately, and I’m glad I did!

-disclaimer - I am not a doctor, so all these observations about medications are from my own personal experiences. There is a lot of info on the web, but please don’t self-medicate, change medications or any such stuff except under the supervision of a medical professional! I know I probably don’t need to say all this, but I’d feel really bad if something happened to someone, because of a random post I made!

Hi Chanuki, LOVED your intro post and totally feel your angst. I also admire your spirit and openness in your intro, way to go girl

As you sweet spot test your new purchases, do please report on your observations here. IME all the mones have a slightly different effect on each individual, but IMO TAC in the Akuto scent has a self effect of calming and a feeling a " ahh that’s ok then". But then again I think it is very similar to JPG Le male which is one of my favourite male scents.

Nice to have you here, enjoy the party

Yay!
They’re here, in my hands, at last! I am so excited that I want to try them out right now, and go to a bar or pub … only it’s already 1a.m. in the morning here… sigh. But they’re here in time for Saturday night.
I am very impressed that AD shipped it so promptly, and used DHL, which is very reliable. Even the package smelled good when I opened it - I hope this doesn’t mean my lovely stuff spilled out. But it seems to be all there.

OK… seems some did spill. I just opened a random one: the cap was wet inside and the liquid dripped onto my fingers. Luckily it was Instant Shine, or I might just find myself completely irresistible :stuck_out_tongue:
So now that it’s all over me, I might as well do a self-effects check.

Facts: Instant Shine 1x
approx 1 spray’s worth (?)
On my hands and fingers, and I ran them through my hair.
First Impressions: I like the smell. It seems really familiar, or maybe it’s just the scent they put with the pheromones that’s familiar. At first, it seemed quite strong - will people notice, or think it’s just a perfume? Will it chill me out?
5 mins later: The smell has faded to quite a nice, fresh summer scent, slight citrus smell (grapefruit maybe? neroli?), so it won’t be too noticeable.
I’m feeling relaxed, but that might be the glass of wine I had about 20 mins ago. I’m a real light-weight when it comes to alcohol. :o
15 mins later: Getting a slight headache. Maybe I’m just sniffing up too much of the stuff, not sure. Plus I did wake up with a nasty tension headache this morning, so it may just be from that. I’ll try to make a note if I get another one when I use Instant Shine next…

That’s about it. I’m excited to try it out tomorrow night. There’s a benefit concert, and it’s outdoors, so there won’t be so much cigarette smoke to deal with. I’m hoping that will help send clearer signals.

I’ve also got two other interesting experiments I want to try out.
I’m a teacher and I work with elementary school kids. Does anyone know how kids react to pheromones? I’ve read in a few posts that some of the men’s products should probably not be used around kids. I know enough not to waltz into class wearing something like Instant Sexiness, especially with the kids who are older, almost ready for junior high. But I do have a problem kid with behavioral issues. I wonder if Instant Shine in a very low dose would help calm him down, make him feel safer, and a bit more open to behavior adjustment. IS would also be interesting to try out on my co-workers (There isn’t a smiley for Evil Grin, but this is where I’d put it). I don’t work at an actually elementary school - it’s an after-school center where we teach English, so it’s a bit more relaxed. And I do actually care about the kids, so I’m not going to expose them to anything that might harm them - I’ll do my research homework first.
As you can probably tell by now, I’m a Psychology major.

The other interesting issue is that I have two parrots. Parrots are extremely sensitive to hormones and pheromones. These are Sun Conures, but to give an example, Cockatoos actually go through something similar to PMS every month, and usually bond better with a person of the opposite sex. But they are known as very hormonal birds. The 2 parrots I have are still under two years old, so they’re pretty young. Even so, the female one gets a bit bitey and mean during certain times of my monthly cycle. Again, not going to try Instant Sexiness anywhere near them, but I do wonder what the three I have will do (IS, IO, IH).

So, if anyone has had some experience with these two issues, let me know. I’ll probably start a separate thread for those - I’d like to keep this journal as more of a personal discovery page.

And hopefully, I’ll have more news tomorrow!

I work ( soon to be past tense) with teens with very complex problems. I, as a matter of course mix IH & IS with one particular male. I have to be careful with where I put the IH though as has a real self effect on me. But every interview with this one lad has been very constructive. Obviously no cops or sexiness around teenage boys, they’re bad enough with out the mones. But I think there is a place for mones in helping communication flow. Keep us posted as to what you decide to do and the effects..

What’s been happening, Chanuki? How’s Taiwan with it’s thick humidity affecting your mones?

Wish you well and hope to see you around.

So did you use cytomel T3 to lose all the weight? And get some Testosterone Enanthate / Estradiol Valerate hormone replacement therapy to make you feel young and jubilant?

And what happened to your best friend from the other kingdom?
