Do people HAVE to smell the -mones to feel the effects

So I have been testing IO, IS and a bit of IH recently, and I came across a question that I have been wondering about for the past two weeks.

Obviously, the smell of these instant line products are no where near as strong as AMMO for example, so do they still effect others even though they might not smell it?

Let’s say I sprayed IO or IH on my wrists. A awhile after application the smell is very light and barely noticeable, even by myself at close distance. As I wave my arms around uncontrollably when I talk to people, I really doubt they can actually smell it. Does it still effect others, or do they have to be able to smell the neroli or whatever scent is with IO/IH?

Otherwise, I would really need to up my dosages.

Yes and No.

The smell is what carries the pheromones when heat makes them diffuse off the body. With your natural mones body odor (good or bad) assists in this. However the scent doesn’t have to be strong for that to occur.

Some scents are better carries, binders and have more sillage then others. Neroli tends to dry down light but binds and diffuses very well and the actual scent is not an indication as to whether your wearing enough.

Sometimes you can be using a strong scent but it doesn’t bind well with the mones so it doesn’t carry them as much.

Sometimes you can be wearing a light scent and it binds to the mones great and it diffuses well.

Diffusion is the most important part of wearing mones.

The best way to gage your dosage is to test your results. Dont just use your wrists as application points. Heat is what makes both the scent and the mones diffuse from the body. Wrists do not heat as well as other places on the body.

Thanks Trisha, as a newbie being wondering about body heat and area’s of application too.

Why wonder?

The other intro stickies are pretty useful too.

Also, when you wear any perfume or cologne you will get desensitized to it, so just because it starts to diminish to you doesn’t necessarily mean others can’t smell it.

Thanks again. I’m wondering if it is the neroli that I don’t like the scent of, as both the sexiness and shine have a base note that I’m not keen on. I’m also experimenting with different perfumes. I tried the sexiness and shine mix with Tommy Hilfiger yesterday and that worked for me in a positive social sense. I love this forum, so educational and so many well informed and knowledgeable people.

Consciously smelling the fragrance/scent and smelling the actual pheromones are two different things. You’re talking conscious vs sub-conscious.

Thanks all for the responses!

I was wondering if they need to consciously smell the perfume part of the spray in order to be effected unconsciously by the mones part. I think I have confused my self, sorry

So even though they might not consciously smell the scent, they may still be effected unconsciously right?

I have been applying them in various amounts in varying places, including my neck. I have found that the area of effect is greater when I spray it on my neck pulse points. Plus the wrists do not seem to work as well unless you talk with your hands, and probably do not diffuse very well if I wear a long sleeve jacket (it’s cold here). Though I need to continue testing to be more concrete with this.

So if I wear ammo and IO/IH on the same application point, would the stronger scent of ammo help in carrying IO/IH?

Yes. Everyone pretty much hit the nail on the coffin. It’s ALL SUBCONSCIOUS btw. I mean… sure girls might say you smell good (I’ve gotten that from time to time with various mixes). But you don’t necessarily wear nomes for the smell. You wear them for the effect. And purely smelling good/smelling your cologne isn’t going to make people react the way they do to pheros. It’s the different nomes at work that give you the different reactions and that’s based almost purely on a subconscious level. You are essentially steering your audience to react in a hopefully natural but predictably predetermined way.

Just like we don’t have to smell or see oxygen to breath it, people don’t have to see or smell or what-have-you when it comes to the pheros themselves. It’s all about proximity, diffusion, and general longevity of the mix itself. In fact, with many pheros, if it is too strong it can have effects you don’t want on people (aka ODing).

So ideally, with most products (depending on strength) 2 to 3 sprays total on different application points is plenty. The key is that you don’t want them to necessarily know you are wearing anything. For all they know, you’ve simply jumped out of the shower and smell fresh. Of course, what they don’t know is that that little something extra about you (whatever you decide you want that to be) is being helped along subtly by this arsenal of powerful, hardworking little nomes. That’s right! Get up boys!
