How noticeable is the smell to other people?

I don’t have another person to test them on for me so I want to ask those of you who have a SO or a friend who wear mones as well. I notice that these mones I’m wearing is quite strong and long lasting possibly because I’m spraying them directly to my chest and neck for self effects (which I like). With my usual perfume when I bother to wear them, I would spritz one or two sprays in front of me, step in and do a whirl. With some of them, I could still faintly smell myself at times.

I once had a coworker who everybody could smell a good 20 feet away. It sure wasn’t pleasant and it didn’t help that her choice of perfume smelled something along the line of orange juice that had been left out and rotted for months before she decided to bath herself with it. :open_mouth:

I’m currently wearing at most 2 sprays a day and I’m still getting people doing a loud whiff in good 3-6 feet of me. Yesterday, I overheard another Asian girl talked about something being too heavy when passing by me. But then we were at IKEA and she could have been talking about the furniture. It sucks because I’m reading about you people doing all sort of crazy mixes and I’m dying to try more out but I’m afraid of having my obvious smell hit people who are conversing with me like Buick.

I appreciate subtlety after all and I can’t have people guessing what’s up my sleeves.

No simple answer I’m afraid. Sensitivity to phero scents does vary very widely between individuals.

For some they will cut through any cover you use and be unbearably stinky, whilst others will smell nothing at all. Most however will sit somewhere on a range in between.

and you also need to remember that sensitivity can be tied to different pheros as well, so it could be they are only smelling one phero in a mix and not any others - Again, this is partly why it is a good reason to test singly or in minimum combinations first to see what works for the people around you.

I’ve gotten tons of positive feedback on my ‘perfume’ and I generally don’t wear a cover scent not unless i’m wearing Essence of Woman because it stinks! My ex really like the smell of mones too - especially coconut vanilla  To be honest, I don’t think its overly noticeable for the majority of people!

The standard scent used for AD mones is Neroli. They used this for a few reasons. Its diffusive quality, blending ability and because it drys down so light so you can layer. I have wron upwards of 10 sprays depending on how many products in a combo with no problem.

Only when I spray on my clothes does it become a problem. I notice it doesnt dry down as well, doesnt diffuse and can become cloying.

Avoid inhaling wet mones when applying. This will give you a better ideal of how strong you smell. When you inhale them into the nasal passage while wet you tend to notice a strong scent all day which is not true to how you actually smell. This happens sometimes with perfume as well. You either cant smell it at all or you feel overscented.

Yeeaahh… this is a good question and I’m playing with it as well. Some people aren’t bothered by it, but I’ve heard a few times “That’s really strong!”…

I’m giving it a rest for the next week or two so as not to be labeled “Perfume Girl”. I know the scents can help with diffusion, but maybe if there were an unscented alcohol spray option that we could cover with our own lighter scent, that might be preferable - if it’s even possible, that is.

Well yes and no on it being possible. The binding agents are in the scent pack and if the mones do not bind they wont diffuse well and will work poorly.

You can buy them unscented in single molecules but its very expensive because they are synthesized to some extent before people order them so they would have to synthesize a special batch which costs time and money.

They are working on the Stealth diffusion mixes. You may have tested some of these if you have anything in the 400’s mix line. These are supposed to be lighter scent with more diffusion. So if enough people report we may see these more down the road.
