Sometimes it comes out a lot more. When inhibitions and defenses are lowered they typically help out in that situation (from my experiences). Also, remember that th elogical and reasoning part of the brain and fine mototr skills, get affected first by alcohol. The basic functions like breathing, heart, and basic skills that were inhenrent from our early predecessors are the last ones to get impaired too much by alcohol. My theory is that pheromones work slightly better when it comes to that.

This signaling activity is read by our subconscious mind (NOT our conscious mind) Our subconscious mind has an uncanny ability to occasionally drive our motivations, HOWEVER our conscious mind can and will VETO our subconscious motivations. It happens all the time that you make conscious decisions to NOT do things that you’d like to do.
What happens when we get drunk? Our conscious mind loses some of it’s grip on our actions and we end up doing shit for reasons our conscious mind can’t figure out (All those what the fuck were we thinking moments)
Drinking reduces impulse control… it gives our subconscious stronger control of our actions.
What all this means is that Drunk people are FAR more reactive to pheros… Too much NONE at the club = a great deal of aggression from guys subconsciously responding to your territorial signalling.
Though I’m a noob to pheromones, I can say my best hits are when we were drinking. Granted, when drinking it gets everyone loosened up anyway, but as Wrlprchnx was saying, when we drink our subconcious tends to come out more. Think about it, when you’re drunk don’t you crave sex that much more? That is your male instinct to mate coming out. Alcohol just amplifies the affect. So I agree that pheromones only help to amplify the lower inhibitions. Heck last week I went with some friends from work to a small field party. With alcohol and my shots of ammo and tuth, we ended up skinny dipping in the lake next door, and when some others had left we played truth or dare which got pretty interesting.

I’ve gotten some good hits when people have been drinking, but remember this; pheromones don’t really create anything, they just enhance existing feelings and such. So if you have some mones on and you get a hit from someone who has been drinking, they just have less inhibitions and are more likely to say what’s on their mind.
So we ended up getting those two girls to skinny dip, well for the most part. They still had their panties on but took everything else off. initial response to phero was the usual good things, and an amplification of the desire to go out. me and the wifey picked up guy friend. went to first bar and was crowded, people were waiting for drinks at the bar, but the bartender went up to me in less than 10seconds and leaned forward far enough for me to see the areola. (big chi chis) cool. went to next bars just to see whats up with them, and the next one we go to we see some chicas dancing so we all started dancing with them. i sit down to watch my wifey and guy friend dance, and one of the women, maybe mid to late 20’s, started dancing on my guy friend. i see her double take on me sitting on the chair, and she comes up to me and says “is it your bday…?”
