"Do they really work?" "I tried and nothing happened"

These are my thoughts on using pheromones.

I have read a lot in this forum and if distilled to the most simple reason, it is that the people posting and reading want to attract or improve their relationships. This covers a great number of users and after reading many first posts, people want the easy fix. I know I did and do, but it is about succeeding. Using pheromones aids in being successful in our relationships and I want to offer my thoughts on them.

Posters often ask, “Do they really work?” or “I tried and nothing happened”. Many if us know that not everything works for everyone, we are all different and a lot still depends upon you.

I think of using pheromones like say, a new set of the latest golf clubs that give me a little more of the long ball or control, all adding up to a lower score, but it doesn’t win the game for me. it doesn’t hit the ball for me either. There are many analogies that point out that pheromones are a tool and in the end, it is up to YOU to use that tool and the other tools you have to be successful in achieving your goal.

If your goal is to meet people, pheros can help with that. But no one can overlook simple things like hygiene. Or dressing properly. Or fitness. These are a but a few things that you can change if they are lacking or need improvement. If I dress like a teen skater and I am working on the affections of a supermodel, I might want to rethink my clothing. Maybe clothes won’t matter, maybe they will. Give yourself every advantage and understand what you are searching for and make the changes to get the best possible chance for success.

Fitness is important, we all want to be fit and most of us find the perfect bodies we see as desirable. I found it odd that one of my friends was making his list of attributes that he wanted in a girl and most of the list were things he himself didn’t even do. Double standards aren’t helpful. Good manners are.

Effort is required and if you think there is a spray that you can buy that will cause your intended target to shed their clothes and jump you, there isn’t. Everything takes effort, both business and relationships. They are much alike, as the better prepared you are in both, the better the chance of a successful outcome.

In business, I am more successful when I have a better depth of knowledge or I have access to hard found information that competitors do not have. I have an edge. I’ll take every one I can get in my life, you should too.

Are you boring? Do you never have anything to say? There are so many options on this. Read books. Take a self-imporvement course or buy one online. Read papers. Find a hobby that you are passionate about.

Out of shape? Move. Everyday and take care of yourself. Learn how. Eat right, exercise and the benefits touch all parts of your life. Go to yoga, ride a bike to work, join a gym.

Maybe you’re shy or can’t dance or hate your job, but whatever it is and whatever you want to do, YOU are the ingredient that can change it. I hope I don’t come across as pompous, but these are my thoughts and they apply to me as much as anyone else. Most of all, figure out what you want and what you are prepared to do to get that which you want.

I want to be successful in business.

I can walk into a meeting unprepared and cold sell a project that will pay my salary for a month or a year. Why would I do that? I will go in prepared. I’ll wear some A314. I’ll dress properly and appear as someone they trust with their interests and money. I’ll know about them, their needs. I’ll have a plan “B”. And “C”. All this and I can still lose, but it is a game of percentages and I’ll raise that number. Each edge I can find, I’ll take. I want to raise my success ratio as high as I can.

I want to meet someone new.

That will happen and I have confidence that I will find and attract someone that I choose. For those that are in long term relationships, you might agree that you definitely settle in after a while and you might not do those little things you would never have done early on in the relationship. As I am guilty of that one as well, I have to listen to my own advice and polish myself to be the best I can be. When I meet someone, is it going to be my shirt that catches her eye? Maybe that I am having a good time and she notices that I am funny and confident and that intrigues her? It is quite possible that I might act like a dope and she has a soft spot for meatheads. It all comes down to the advantages that you have, and the many you can cultivate or create.

Maybe when I was in high school and clueless, I might have thought that any social shortcomings I might have had would all be wiped out by a few sprays of these magical substances. We here all know this isn’t true.

What is true is that pheromones work for many, many of us and from what I see and read, a lot of posters here have their game on and understand the pheromones that work for you will be a powerful tool, but never more than a tool.

Give the world the best you can be, work toward your goals and don’t stop for anything.

Fall seven times, get up eight.

Totally agree with this thread, even before joining here on the board I already knew that pheromones were just an edge. So it’s a shame that some users don’t give us a second chance because they didn’t see a quick fix, so they in return gave up. I’ve always had a thing about smelling good and trying to groom my self as best as I could, why? Because looking good makes me feel good in public situations, if I feel like I look like shit I would not want to be seen in public until I’m groomed pretty good. Because then, I feel good and confident. So to me this paired with pheromones equals sheer content for me.

I’m glad you liked it. It seems that no matter the amount of sticky posts or the advice, this is a tough message to consistently convey.

I hope I didn’t sound like a douche.

Nope, just conveying some good, sound advice.

Thanks. I tried to cover a lot of bases and not have anyone think I was singling them out.

We all have a self-image and though we might think we are James Bond end of the scale, we might be closer to Napoleon Dynamite.

but my lips hurt real bad!

but self image, self confidance and a good sense of humor will get you further than sitting around the house moping. it is amazing what a smile on your face does to how people approch you, being happy and confidant even the ugliest of Quasimodo’s will attract a princess.

Everyone should remember that they are not instantly going to convert the first lesbian supermodel they come to, into their own love slave.. but someone that is mildly attracted to them will be slightly more likely to talk to you.

Wolfy,

Quite true. A good attitude is yet another excellent attribute that can help anyone.
