I’ve been trying to figure out how many pheromones are in a drop of NPA. I think if there are 200 drops in a bottle then the concentration is 12.5 mcg of pheromones per drop, half of which is -none.
But I’ve been searching the archives of both sites and I’ve also seen answers of 12 mcg per drop and 17 mcg per drop.
Anyone know for sure which answer is correct?
No, exact 4,8 mcg none and 4,8mcg secret. Attention!! Without the bad dropper top.
The two sectet mones work like 2,4mcg none. You have practical 7,2 mcg none/drop effect. That’s the love scent experiences and I can confirm that. For example 3 drop effect are much more difficult for me as 25mcg none alone.
I’ve measured with a very exact pipette:
10 drops are approximately 0,125 ml
=>
1 drop ~ 0,0125 ml ~ 3 mcg Androstanone
… if i am correct.

I believe that there are 500 mcg of pheromones per milliliter of NPA.
500 X 0.0125 = 6.25.
1/2 of the pheromones are -none so 6.25 / 2 = 3.125.
So, with your your pipette, you are correct.
I think the drops that come out of the NPA dropper are bigger. But when I turned it upside down, it just drizzled out. I think I damaged the dropper when I removed the white plastic piece yesterday.
No, you didn’t damage the NPA dropper. It was very difficult for me to get exact 10 drops, so i had to do more droptests as estimated…
btw. i’ve used the 5ml bottle.
NPA is too concentrated to use the dropper top for direct application. Why? The drop size is extremely inconsistent. It varies from a massive drop to a wee stream. If you must apply direct from bottle, only in an emergency of course, use the dabbing technique: hold finger tightly over dropper opening, invert bottle, slight loosen finger, right bottle and rub finger on application spot. It’s really stinky so cover that shit.
I prefer to premix a batch of 1 part NPA & 5 parts cologne in a Sephora atomizer. The dose is perfectly controlled and the dilution allows you to more evenly distribute the product on your body. And that means better diffusion. I also use it very sparingly. Women tend to go nuts if you wear it in an enclosed space–small office or car–and it will get you into endless trouble.
Gogogi, I just happened to be reading your really old posts yesterday on the LS forum from 2006 when you talked about your experimental days with NPA and the crazy amount of drops you used. I don’t plan on applying drops directly myself because I have TE and also NPA mixed with neroli perfumer’s oil at a 1:4 ratio. (Don’t worry, I will cover with a long lasting cologne.)
I’m really curious about how -none you were wearing back in your crazy experimental days. 
The number of drops used means nothing to me unless I know what the pheromone content of each drop is.
I don’t plan on repeating your experiments. I’m just curious.
