Dreams with Fecal or Urine Themes

After going to sleep with pheremone products on either me or my wife, I’ve had dreams of having feces or urine on myself. These type of dreams are highly unusual for me, and seem only to occur when I’m exposed to the pheremone products.

This morning my wife told me that she has had several similar dreams recently. Her dream last night motivated her to tell me. I wore pheremones the day before but she was not aware of it at the time.

I won’t go into details of the dreams. I will note that I did not experience nausea or unpleasant odors in the dreams. In one dream I did warn others around me that they might be offended by the odor of urine on me though.

I do not consciously detect odors I associate with urine or feces in the pheremone products I’ve used.

I wonder if there are some compounds in the pheremones that we normaly perceive only in conjunction with excretia, and if our subconscious minds in dreaming are trying to make sense of the perceptions due to the pheremones.

These dreams seem to have occurred after exposures to various mixtures of A314 Whitecap, instant shine, instant honesty, instant openness, and instant gentleman.

Has anyone else had such dreams? Also, any ideas what compounds might cause such associations.

I’ve used pheromone products almost daily for years and haven’t suffered golden shower or dirt road dreams. You’re the first to mention it. However such fantasies are common–Japanese love it–so perhaps the products have opened the floodgates so to speak.

I don’t know if others would associate phero scents with urine or feces, but to me the various synthetic pheromones smell more like various kinds of sweat/skin scents - adolescent skin/sweat, middle aged man, pubic hair aroma, etc. Androstenol I find distinctly pleasant smelling, although I guess it took a short while to grow on me. Even 'none has started to smell good to me once I perceived how its scent profile overlaps with sandalwood!

Neither my nor my wife’s dreams had an overt sexual component. For instance, one of hers involved having to clean up a horrible mess she discovered in our bathroom, one of mine involved a dog crapping on my foot. Neither caused particular sexual excitement.

LOLOLOL, you are very funny. It may be true that pheromones make you dream of pee or poo, perhaps it’s the fact that both of you know that androstenone smells like urine.

I’ve read here that many people detect urine smells from androstenone, so that compound may indeed be influencing some of the dreams.

However, my wife had dreams of this nature when she didn’t consciously know I’d applied pheremones. She obviously couldn’t know which I’d applied if she didn’t know I’d applied any. That makes me think it was the pheremone itself influencing her dream rather than her knowledge of how other people perceive androstenone.

Another interesting point is that many of the dreams involved feces rather than urine. There are numerous references to urine smells on the forum here, but few to fecal smells. One exception is the post I quoted at the beginning of this thread where a man uttered the unusual insult “that guy smells like shit.” I wonder if there might be other compounds involved than the ones like androstenone that a substantial number of people report urine smells from. Another compound might account for the fecal impressions.

GWTW i had an experience a while back when i totally OD’ed on The Edge.I used over a gel satchel!..too much.
Also, i must have had alot of build up from weeks of excessive none use.

So I was at a cafe one morning and some girl exclaimed rather loudly “something smells like shit” …very embarrassing :o

My best guess would be that your brains are trying to make sense of a subconscious scent detected.

Androstenone is known to be secreted in urine, so that could easily enough explain the dreams involving urine. I am not aware of any pheromones secreted in feces, but it’s possible that on a subconscious dream level, your brains are not really differentiating between the two.

I have not had any similar dreams, but then again I rarely ever remember my dreams, so God only knows what kind or ugly or nasty things my mind spews out in my sleep.

Those dreams have long since dissapeared for me and my wife, but they were an interesting phenomon. I think it took a little while for our subconscious minds to adjust and interpret the new input.

My wife reacted in a similar way to copulins. She had dreams that I was unfaithful. After explanation of the chemicals involved, the anxiety went away.

This reminds me of a strange conversation I had with a fellow that had got back from visiting Japan. He told me about a Japanese lady he had met and had taken him home with her. He said he was quite inclined upon sleeping with her if the course of events lead up to it.

That is until they entered her bedroom. He saw that her bed was merely a mattress wrapped in cellophane. At this point he ran out of her apartment and into the night. I asked him why and he explained it along the lines of Gegogi’s reply in this thread.
