I went to my control panel and set “Thread Subscriptions” to “no e-mail notifications”. However, I’m still getting e-mails whenever someone replies to a thread I posted in.
Is there something else I need to do to disable these? They’re kind of annoying.

Go to your user Control Panel… click on the upper left side of the page where it says “User CP”
On the left you’ll see a menu of buttons under “Control Panel”
Click on “Edit Options”
Scroll down… under “Messaging & Notification” you will see
“Default Thread Subscription Mode” where there will be a little drop-down menu…
CHOOSE “DO NOT SUBSCRIBE” and click “submit”
That should solve the problem, hopefully.
Alright, hopefully this’ll work.
Won’t this eliminate threads from the Subscription heading of my control panel now, though?
