Should be quick easy for the experienced:
If I mix equal parts 4x IH with 4x IO, do I have 4x CTTM?
Should be quick easy for the experienced:
If I mix equal parts 4x IH with 4x IO, do I have 4x CTTM?
and is this the equivalent of 1 spray 2x IH and 2x IO?
I think the formulae was a bit more complex than that, but I’m really not sure.
I’d go with 4x4= 16, so the answer is 16xCTTM ![]()
holy crap… i dont think that’s right, but if it were, i’d have corpses being raised from the dead to come talk to me.
If CTTM is infact Equal Parts IH and IO… Then Equal Parts 4x IO and 4x IH would Equal 4x CTTM… It All Depends on what the Actual Ingredients for CTTM are…
I dunno if you’re being stupid but if he’s asking a legitimate question, don’t give a dumbass answer.
Masu, it is believed that CTTM2 is approximately 50/50 betanol/alphanol
However, like many here believe, there are other molecules in there at a minute amount to help steer it in that direction. But as long as you do an equal proportion of strengths to sprays then you’ll approximately have it.
Take is easy stang have some liquid sunshine
I pmed Steve about CTTM a while and ago and here is what he said.
Take a bottle of Instant Openness and Instant Honesty and an empty bottle. Half of one, half of the other. You now have a bottle of CTTM. Yeah that’s what it is 50/50 Instant Openness/Instant Honesty
Apparently there are steering pheromones too, as with everything, but my view would therefore be, that those same steering pheromones would be in each individual product.
It is also believed that TAF in small amounts in a number of consumer products. I tried looking for the post but from what I remember Jas said that.
you’d have roughly equal strength
Look at it like this
Both standard IO and IH are 15 mcg per spray of TOTAL mones, thus 4X would be 6o mg per spray.
Now since the actual size of the nozzle is constant and thus the total volume of liquid (which includes PA and cover scent) stays the same…one single spray would be half of the 4X IO or the equivalent of a single spray of 2X and likewise a half spray of IH…which of course would be the equivalent of a single spray of 2X for THAT product.
So each spray would be like 30 mcg of IO and 30 mcg of IH…a total of 60 mcg total mones. Since CTTM is a halfway cross between the two products it would be logical to assume that it to is based on a 15 mcg dose for a single regular strength spray.
In other words each single spray of CTTM2 is like a half spray each of IO and IH. So each single spray of 4X CTTM2 would be like a half spray each of 4X IO and IH, or a full spray of 2X or 2 sprays of regular strength for each product.
I’m not quite sure I buy into that statement (no offense Steve). If it were true, then why wouldn’t AD just fill bottles with 0.5 IH and 0.5 IO, slap a CTTM2 label on it and sell the crap out of it? If your supply is two ingredients and you have plenty of stock on hand, why not just make the third product when there is ready demand for the product?
I’m willing to bet there are trace amounts of some other molecules that just aren’t in the base IO or IH.
I’ll have to chew on that one. Not knowing the process of how AD actually makes the batches for IO or IH, I could very well see that if you actually have to make a separate batch for CTTM2 because of this mcg difference, then you would perform an analysis of selling just IO and IH vs. all three.
I think possibly because it would then lack the “steering molecules” it takes to really be the actual formula. I don’t think AD is the kinda company that’s out to make a quick buck. Plus fro what I read some chemists might be out of a certain molocule sometimes which keeps AD from being about to order and thus fully reproduce it.
We can only go by the information we have available to us and this is hard to explain but…
No you would not have 4X CTTM. It will get you close to regular CTTM though only because they are similar molecules in each formula.
CTTM is just 50/50 bnol and anol. IO and IH are a combo of anol and bnol but in different ratios. IO has 2 human mones and IH has 3 human mones.
Mixing them in the bottle will lower the concentration of that third steering pheromone. Your forgetting the carrier which will dilute the 3rd mone down more and throw the ratio of mones to carrier off. When trying to replicate CTTM this is not a problem because it didnt have that third and they both have the same molecules in the correct proportions to be able to mix them.
In a mix with similar pheromones like IO and IH mixing usually just effects the steering mones more then the primary mones because most of the primaries are in both of the separate mixes. This is not so for other mixes. The steering mones which are not in both and are what push a formulas towards a certain vibe are what gives each one that unique difference. Dilute those and you dont have enough to steer with. It gets more complicated in the larger mixes.
For instance just for future knowledge on mixing products >>> When you mix two formulas that have totally different pheromones you dilute each mone in the mix making the mcg per spray lower not higher. So suppose you mix TUTH with IO. These are very different and you actually are diluting down the amount of anone in the tuth because IO doesnt have anone in it. This is why they tell you not to mix formulas and layering is superior to mixing.
Your better off layering IO and IH to get the CTTM effect this way you have them seperate for when you just want to go with one vibe or the other or if your heart is set on having it in one bottle just buy a higher concentration of anol and bnol and mix those two together.
Tisha
tisha that makes perfect sense. funny I was thinking about the thread below when I was reading.
dammit… i just mixed my remaining 4x IH and 4x IO. I felt like mixing was necessary because I just wanted to bring one to-go bottle with me when I have a long night out. I had bad experiences carrying 30ml bottles and even multiple to-go bottles.
so what…it’s only a 5ml togo bottle]s worth…which means you put 2.5 ml of Io and 2.5 ml of IH in a togo…no big deal…Ive done the same for fun of testing…is it exactly CTTM? no…but it works so who cares ..all you’re missin is a few steering molocules…big whoop…YOU become the steering molocule now
…just test it..let us know how it went for you.
This is true. I noticed it worked pretty well though. Mixed in a tiny bit of 4x IS (maybe 1/5 or 1/6 of the to-go bottle) as well and one spray of this mix worked very well with my 1 drop of A314. Had my friends laughing at almost everything I said, but still gave me tremendous respect. I was the center of attention the whole time. (EDIT: I liked this a lot more than when I wear AMMO)
I think 1 spray of this mix would be the equivalent of 1 spray 2x IH, 1 spray 2x IO and < 1 spray IS, but not sure exactly.
Its OK, read what I wrote above. With IO and IH you can get away with it because of the similar molecules in the formula. You just end up with something close to CTTM which is a bit more raw. Just dont do it with formulas that dont have similar molecules. That’s when you screw it up.
Oh and the best way to bring one bottle with you is to buy a few empty to-go’s with your orders.
Then suppose you wear 2 sprays of ammo, 1 spray of IO and 2 sprays of Ishine that night and you want to bring enough to reapply later in the day.
Spray the dose right into the empty togo bottle. This way you have one full dose of all the mones your wearing then when you reapply use the whole bottle. This way nothing is diluted and the strength remains close to the exact same.
Tisha
Tisha is right, I know everybody likes to play scientist and pour bottles into each other, etc but all you are doing is potentially ruining the product or even contaminating it.
Layering is superior, as she said:
Also it sounds silly but sometimes I’ll scotch tape two 5mLs together for transporting. (nozzles facing away from each other)
