IS it just me or have any of you ladies detect a musk note to your perfume when you mix eow in it? I do and i like to make perfume and i find it easier to just add eow in it when i want a musk scent, than using the musk ketone crystals ( which are a bitch to dissolve) and many men love the perfume.
could someone gives some feedback as to have you experience this?
Just in case you’re wondering it is an oil based perfume made out of essential oils and absolutes with EOW added to give it a musk tone and add strenght to my perfume oil.
If it is only adding a musky note you are one lucky lady.
I have noticed that wearing light eow can improve some perfumes giving them depth, but we all know that mixing is hit or miss I also have a few disaster experiments. Oils do a much better job disguising it than alcohol perfumes.
Personally I find it easier just to apply straight eow and cover.
my perfume oil is a swwet based one and thhe EOW adds the musk and that is easier than trying to dissolve musk ketone to my perfume. it’s such a hassel.
That’s really great that you know how to use copulins as a perfume element, phantasticly hipnotic. As I mentioned in another post, I’ve added copulins to Pink Sugar, a very sweet perfume, and it turned the scent to bubble gum. Which I didn’t mind at all!
Would you mind posting more about your experiments with this? Not to speak for everyone, but I think we could all learn a lot more about how to use EoW if we can understand better how to blend its notes with other scents. Know what I mean?
I’d also like to mention that I just got a new bottle of EoW. This is the third one I’ve bought so far. The formula has to have changed over time.
The first one I got was extremely strong and smelled offensive to me even after it dried down. It required that a heavy scent be layered directly on top of it in order for me to stand it, let alone go out in public.
Second bottle I bought was much more tolerable, but still pretty pongy. It smelled like bad swiss cheese when wet, and like mild rotting grapes when dry. It was much easier to cover.
The bottle I just bought is downright mild! I put some on and while I was waiting for it to dry down, I forgot about it! When I remembered, I had to sniff really hard to even detect it. It was easy, and possibly even unnecessary, to cover it with a blast of MX235.
Thanks for the info, phantasticly hipnotic, and looking forward to reading more!

kitten, I’ve got a teeny question. You’ve mentioned that your third bottle is mild, so I supposed it doesn’t smell that bad! but is it still concentrated or diluted?
eow stands for “essence of a woman” it’s a pure copulins product…very stinky imo and it’s sold in love scents, and not in androtics (but you can custom order it with other products)
So, are you saying it is the same as the copulins that can be added as a women’s fragrance customization with the Androtics products, or are you talking about another source? (and if so what source?)
nope, Androtics probably has their own cops forumla. But you’re right that they are in the “women’s fragrance customization” section and can be added in other products.
Eow comes from love scents and are pure cops. I hope I didn’t confuse anyone!
I used phero girl tonight, a perfume with copulins in it and my female friend though it was a lovely honeyed musk. I think my skin eated the copulins or something, because I do smell a slightly foul note inside the vial. Guys were really nice to me though, but just flirtatious, not overly sexual.
I haven’t yet tried straight up copulins, do those come in samples?
Heya Selva It really doesn’t smell that bad. I juuuust got my bottle. I think it was Friday. So it may be the beginning of a new batch. I didn’t dilute it, but the creator, Stone labs, might have.
I don’t think so, Butterfly. But EoW only costs like $20 and it’ll last you several months.
Copulins technically are a musk, a human musk so you will get a musky smell when used in the right amounts. Unfortunately some us need more to get the desired reaction so when you use alot it smells like butt cheese LOL
EOW is not the same as the copulins they sell here, Formulas are a little different. I use both myself. I like to add pure raw copulins to perfumes and lotions. Androtics doesn’t sell copulins without other things added to them. Its a very complex formula. Plus the smell would kill Amy and April LOL
Its always good to have a back up bottle so I do suggest getting EOW from Lovescent. Its inexpensive and lasts a long time. This way when you want add cops you can use a few drops or on days when you dont you can still spray on your products and not worry about it. Makes your arsenal more versatile.
Copulins work a little different then other pheromones. Technically they are not pheromones but human musks. The vaginal secretions of young fertile females. Dont panic they are synthetic. They signal fertility and men can smell them so they need to be scented. When they do there Testosterone levels increase by 130% with in 15 minutes and they get the urge to procreate. Gotta love evolution
To me, copulins don’t smell like the musks we use in perfumery. One synthetic version, EoW, contains indole and various acids like butyric acid but no musk molecules as they are defined in perfumery (I don’t know what’s in Androtics’ version).
The ingredients in EoW when added to perfume can serve some of the same functions as musks (longevity, exaltation, animalic notes) but I’d still make a distinction between copulin formulas and musks, in perfumery terms.
In terms of effects on heterosexual men, copulin formulas are more specifically arousing than the synthetic musks in use today.
I wouldn’t risk large quantities of perfume by adding EOW to it since those acids can break down other perfumery ingredients, making it go incredibly foul after maturing a while. Better to layer!
Very true Carrie they dont smell like musks used in perfumery because they are Human musks. Still have a musky scent to them but different. I think they use plant & animal musks in most perfume products.
I do know that they use animal musks (not animal pheromones) in some of the products here much the way they do in perfumery.
I agree I have ruined plenty a bottle of perfume this way
I found that using essential oil based perfumes cover EOW well and that tgey adda musk tone to the scents. which i like very much. not to mention that men compliment on the scent as well.
I just recently added my remaining phero girl to my is/b with 5x cops. I think it smells great, although I haven’t worn it in public yet. My mom has commented a lot on the smell though, which is strange because she didn’t like either one when seperate. But mixed together they smell better to her, and I love it too!
