new bottle of EOW , it has almost no smell at all!!

I thought EOW was supposed to have a bad or strong smell to it, my new bottle has only the tiniest smell to it and when I applied a drop to my wrist I couldn’t smell anything! I applied another drop, no odour at all.

No need for cover scents, there’s no smell to cover no matter how many drops I use!

I thought it could be just me, so I took my bottle EOW to a friend’s house last night it was a small get to together, it was a mixed crowd of men and women 18 in all.

I wanted to see if any of them could notices a smell, I told them it was a free sample of essential oil, I held the bottle in my hand covering the label so no one could see what it was, and everyone took a good sniff, most of them said they couldn’t smell hardly anything, a few said it kind of smelled like someone had just peeled an apple in the next room but not even that strong of a scent…

Have any of you received ( from Love Scent ) a new bottle of EOW in the last few weeks?

How does it smell?

Does it have a strong scent or hardly no scent at all?

You bought it from LS and there’s no smell to it? That’s odd…I know the latest batch has been discussed as less effective and possibly weaker, but not in terms of smell… LS is supposed to be a reputable site too so I doubt you only got a bottle of essential oil…

Proper EoW smells God awful! It’s got this horrible “butt cheese” smell to it, very strong to begin with, much like cheese that’s gone off… It dries down to a less cheesy and more sour fermented fruit type smell, but it’s still pungent and definitively not a faint apple peel scent :roll_eyes: If it’s EoW it WILL NEED heavy duty cover scents

If you bought this from some unknown website or a random eBayer then I’d say you’ve been scammed, but if it’s from LS I’m just confuddled :confused:

I got it from love scents web site and used the 20% off valentines day coupon they offered.

Its a little brown bottle with a blue label that says: Essence of a Woman, 100% pure copulin fragrance component.

It has list of contents and also a lot# SPE6

There’s hardly no scent at all, especially not the odour you and everyone else is has described…:confused:

Ive read from the reviews on their site that it doesnt smell so much like “butt cheese” anymore but I would contact the their CS and see what they have to say about that.

Ive never smelled it and I just ordered a bottle a few days ago, so Ill let you know what I get.
Maybe you should try it and see what happens. :slight_smile:

Hmmm…I just ordered a bottle as well. Now I’m curious about what it will smell like. I wasn’t looking forward to the icky smell, but I do want it to work! :confused:

I ordered a bottle from LS two weeks ago. It smells like rotten fruit/fermented grapes. I use 6 drops split between my wrists/forearms for a sexually tense atmosphere. I haven’t used it yet for anything else, so no higher testing. I was able to get more sexually tense vibes and atmospheres with it. When I let it dry down really really well, I covered it with a lotion and it didn’t smell through. Another day, no matter how long I let it dry, and then covered with a perfume, it smelled through. It was a bit scary. :slight_smile: It was crazy raining that day though, so everything was wet everywhere. The air probably didn’t let it dry 100%.

I am in my 20s, no BC.

6 drops…20…and no BC… Brave girl :smiley: That’s about what I use (6-8 drops) and I’m in my 30s, been on BC since late teens and take HRT

Just curious–I’m late 30’s, on BC–what would you suggest would be a good starting point for using EoW? I’ve seen so many different posts on this, but not a whole lot regarding age and BC usage and what difference that makes. I’d like to try not to ‘waste’ a whole lot of time guessing if I don’t have to…for one thing, I am nervous about the whole smell issue LOL, and for another, I’d just like to have an idea of where to start if possible. Yeah…I’m impatient!! :o What can I say, hubby has been out of town for a month!!! :smiley:

Well, with cops you have to start on the low side and work your way up… It’ll take a bit of tweaking to find your sweet spot with the least smell :smiley: I tried at home at first to get a hang of how to apply it, where and which scents work best as covers for me… after I felt confident with that I ventured out to gauge the effects… Busses are great, you have people who are relatively near you but who can’t really act on what the emotions because of where they are..so you get the non-touchy hits DIHL’s and blatant staring :smiley:

If you want a rough estimate… I’m going on 32 and am a long term BC user, my standard dose is about 6 drops or so. Tisha is in her early 40s I believe, and also a long term BC user. If I’m not misstaken, Tisha and some of the other ladies on the forum in their 40s usually talk about 10 drops or so… As a guesstimate you’re likely to be somewhere in between, but start with a lower dose and work your way up… I think I started with 3-4 drops :slight_smile:

There’s something else I’m wondering about, does EOW have any self affects?

Buzzy, giddy, light headed?

Because if it does have, that could be a good indicator that it is working even if there’s no bad or offensive smell that needs to be covered.

This post describes my two previous tries with EoW. Both times with my TG in a professional environment, and he was much more directly focused on me /interacting with me on a social level than any time prior. When I wore it the second time, around classmates in a more social environment, there was a heightened sexual tension - lots of sexual innuendo, sexual jokes, direct flirting from some of the more interested ones - the kid/younger one in his Mrs. Robinson way, and the older one/my jump partner in a more respectful way. He actually told me he loved me at the end of the class! :slight_smile:

I have a very strong personality though - I’ve been “talked to” about not intimidating people, and have run boyfriends away by not being “soft” enough. My close boy friend told me that I was wonderful, but really, what’s up with the scary, kill everyone vibes? Why can’t I scrapbook? Funny thing is, I wear hot pink pumps and skirts, carry a bright yellow clutch handbag and love dresses. I’m an open book and work as a teacher/trainer in my field. I just work in such a high-testosterone field and am so good at it that everyone is crazy intimidated by me. EoW and, strangely enough, IS/a “soften” me and mellow me out to a calm, sultry state. IS/b is fun too - turns me more perky-pink than anything.

I also go through phero really quick - they all burn off me very quickly, about 3-4 hours, much quicker for IS. Even high dose TAF only lasted about 5 hrs max with me. EoW was longest lasting/smelling of them all. So I think I need more based on my personality being what it is, and my unique body what-not that goes through it so so fast.

Oh! and I am “in my 20’s,” not 20! :slight_smile: I wish…

I haven’t felt any strong ones, but I haven’t used it on any “fun” zones as some on here have… If Bella’s around, she can offer more guidance on this issue. When paired with one spray TUTH… oh boy. Give me something to hump.

EOW should have a smell to it. I have used scentless cops and I could take a bath in them with no response. I believe smell is part of what causes the reaction with this one unlike the other molecules which could smell like jello pudding and still get the job done because the molecules triggers the neurotransmitters.

I have bottles of EOW dating back a 3 or 4 years and the first ones where horrendous. You could smell them as you walked up to the mail box. These worked like a charm though LOL .

Over the last few years it has gotten more mild and more mild and where I once used 10 drops with the new bottles I need between 10 and 15 drops. The hits seem mild still. This has been a problem with stone products. There is no consistency. The next batch may be great or under par like the current batch. It really gives mones in general a bad rap. I feel sorry for the new users who stumble upon a bad batch first and forever think all mones are a scam.

I have a few bottles of LAM which I hoard like crazy LOL I cant wait till Androtics comes up with a better alternative but until they do we haven’t much choice.

Other alternatives while we patiently wait…

EOW is the only pure cop formula out there.

Primal Instinct for her has heavy cops in it.

SOE for women has a low dose of cops and may work well for the younger women

The best mone companies out there that Jasmin suggests that are the most safe reliable honest are Love scent, Lacroy, natural attraction, Athena 10.13 and aromasciences but these are general mone products and they dont contain a lot of copulins in them. I have most of them and I like them but not for there sexual response.

Companies make a lot of heavy sexual mones for men but when it comes to women they dont. I think its because they take the attitude of “why would we need them” or that the social, emotional mones are so much more appropriate for women. They sell what they want for women or think we should want. I have a problem with this thinking. I know what I want and can make that decision for myself. Don’t tell me what I should want because its what you prefer… you know what I mean.

The fact is over half the women who join here are looking for the sexual products. Sure there are those who like the social interacting products and that is fine. A lot of us came looking for the sexual product and discovered there was a lot more to mones and fell in love like myself.

One of the reasons I love androtics is they didn’t have the attitude of “We know whats best for you so we are making only this” They still don’t even though we are waiting on copulins. They just want to make sure they are effective and meet standards.

I sure wish more honest reputable companies would listen to what the women are asking for though instead of just deciding what we need.

I have one of those “vintage” EOW, circa 2004, and indeed it was a very good year. It smells like an amalgamation of Chinese fish sauce, balsamic vinegar & limburger cheese. It is extremely acidic and melted the rubber squeeze bulb after about a month of festering. I transferred it to a plain glass bottle and it seems to be doing okay. I keep it sealed inside two ziplocks but I can still smell it from several feet away. I used to spike NPA and TE with a couple drops–sorta of a home-brew Instant Jerk–but the fumes were so strong I nearly gagged. Even one drop ruined a 5ml mix. I’ve tried to get a few GFs to try it but they refused after smelling it. I suspect it need at least a 10:1 dilution for any reasonable use. As is it will peel skin, burn eyes and cause animals to flee…

The molecule that the makers of EOW used to use to make the very volatile fatty acids sticky was problematic. It is toxic. If you read the list of ingredients, I bet this one: Benzenethiol - is no longer listed.

Without a sticky matrix, the molecules are so volatile they just disapear with the alcohol when it evaporates.

You can try adding DPG to your EoW, or you can dilute it 50:50 with Artisan’s Alcohol that contains Hexylene Glycol. That will make it more sticky… sticky enough that you can smell it… and sticky enough to make it last long enough to be more effective.

I had the same problem with W-9. I used Artisan’s Alcohol plus DPG and recovered a smell… nothing like the butt cheese from EOW, it actually smelled pretty realistic, if a bit mild. I use it and it seems fine.

You shouldn’t have any self effects from copulins. In this case it is actually the smell of copulins (I’m referring to the real thing, here), rather than the molecular configuration that is attractive to men. So, in this regard the term pheromone is a bit misleading.

The fatty acids in Copulins act as pH buffers, keeping the vagina to its optimum pH value of between 4.0 and 4.5. This keeps the vagina healthy and free of disease causing bacteria. The commensal organisms that product the fatty acids in Copulins flourish more during the middle of the cycle because of the increased estrogen a woman produces mid month. For this reason, Copulins peak mid month also.

Does the W-9 have to be treated with artisan’s alcohol? I actually found some of that (Pherone) for a pretty good price, though it will be the first time I’ve purchased/used copulins. There is also another product, V-5, that is also priced reasonably. Does anyone have experience/knowledge of either of these, by any chance?
