So a new semester is starting, and I was pretty much without computer use for a month, over break. But I thought I’d share my first real experience out in “the real world.”
My experiments have pretty much been with my friends, with disastrous results, I might add. Three girls, one room, and androstenone = HORRIBLE horrible horrible. NEVER doing that again. I should have just listened to you, Lor, instead of testing it out to make sure. It took a month of being away from each other to get things back to normal. I think it was also the reason why our road trip was so miserable, and I didn’t realize it until afterward.
I’ve also tested with my professors (Instant Shine and Openness. I didn’t want to try Instant Sexiness), and have gotten a lot of compliments and such, which was nice.
BUT – FINALLY I got the chance to test the pheromones out on strangers, without any of my friends around effecting the outcome at all, and it was FANTASTIC.
I got a ride to the airport from a girl who is a new friend of mine, and terrified of lagging conversation and awkward silences I put on 3 sprays of Instant Openess and two of Shine, and we talked non-stop until we hit the airport. Did I OD? Possibly, but she even gave me a hug goodbye, which has never happened before. Great beginning.
Normally, I get either hostile employees or at least indifferent (I’m unlucky like that), but this time the lady who checked my bags was very helpful, happy, and talkative, and getting through the checkpoint was a breeze.
My first plane was tiny, and people were making comments about it, and I started striking up a conversation with an elderly couple about the small planes I’ve flown in before, and realized halfway through that the reason I was so gabby was from the pheromones. It made me actually laugh out loud. Normally, when I’m on my own, especially while travelling, I keep to myself. I was pretty much giddy the entire trip – so I definitely ODed. A little scary, now that I think about it.
6 hours after I put on the pheromones, I’m waiting for my next tiny plane during my layover. I figure they’ve have worn off by now, but here’s this cute, young pilot with a vacant seat next to him, and I figure, why not?
To kill time I bring out my sketchbook and start sketching people and the interior of the airport, and the pilot is watching me over my shoulder, and actually says, “Wow, that’s really good.”
I’m on cloud nine (a guy initiated conversation! First time! Huzzah!), and we start up a conversation about drawing and art and flying, and I end up giving him the sketch. I’m not sure if there was flirting involved at all, probably not, but I’m certainly not complaining. I don’t mind either if the pheromones were still kicking – although a part of me would like to think it was purely myself. At least I was able to hold a conversation with a guy. Progress, anyway!
So that was my airport experience – I kept my pheromones in my drawer back at school, so hopefully they’re still good. I’ll be dancing Friday, so I can’t wait to wear Insant Sexiness and see what happens! I just wish I had a bottle of Honesty – that’s next on my list. And I’ll probably be in much milder situations with the opposite sex, so there’s plenty of opportunities.
And I shouldn’t have worried about my friend. She picked me up from the airport Sunday – I wasn’t wearing any pheromones – and we talked just as much as the first time.
