Firstnames: second firstname ideas for a baby, nothing typically English or American

Hi everybody !

My girlfriend and I are looking for second firstnames for a baby (Hopefully ours if everything goes well till the end of the year).

Boy and/or girl as we don’t know yet…

No firstname which would sound typically english or american, as my girlfriend doesn’t like it.

If you’ve got any idea…

I don’t have any kids but if I ever do have a daughter she’ll be named Annabelle… It’s from my favourite poem by Edgar Allen Poe

I quite like Evangeline as well…

Phoenix

Azariah

Jazzlene (I love this name for a girl, since I love music I thought it would be fitting.

Madelyne

Josiah

Gavin (my boy’s name.)

the funniest was when I was in the local grocery and a mom chided at her daughter, “Rainbow moonsprite, get your butt over here”

But then there is the story of the family coming to America and naming their first kid after their favorite English word, Diarrhea :open_mouth:

I am trying to process “sounds English or American”

So would Renée or Lura would be out?
I had a friend named Renée in college, her nickname was Nay (sound horses make)

I am pretty partial to Alain “Alan”

What first names have you picked?
The best kids name must roll off the tongue in full at full volume when yelled, some say to go out in the backyard and practice yelling the full name of the kid. first, second and sir name; because you will need to be able to call it out rapidly and clearly when the child is in trouble. (at least it gives you an activity for a weekend party.)
