Yes, that was very entertaining.![]()
i think it is fascinating that women discuss pheromone and flirting strategies, i’m a pretty simple boy i guess, a wink and a smile and it’s on.![]()
HaHa. That’s a good point. ![]()
But I think this goes back to the differences between men and women. I once read that men and women percieve eye contact in different ways. Men tend to percieve a lot of eye contact as flirting. And women see it as meaning that they are paying attention and really listening to the man. But of course, this knowledge could easily be used to a girl’s advantage. It is just easy to mistake a girl for flirting with you, when in fact she might just be really interested in what you are saying.
Stratagies… LOL. Is that getting complicated yet?
no, i think they are all flirting with me.

You better not have so much as a spec of dust in your eye, because one of the killer ways to flirt is when you look at a man… and “blink” a lot.
What’s the “lady” term for that? Oh yes, “fluttering” your eyelashes, right?
I think the brainwaves of a man themselves must begin to follow along when a woman flutters at just right the right speed.
“Alpha and theta waves, here I come!”
Men can’t really process as much social information as women can. Compared to women, they’re “out of touch” with the social reality around them, and they tend to assume more than they perceive.
There’s two kinds out being “out of touch” as a man… not thinking anyone is flirting with you, and thinking they’re all flirting with you.
What Josef shows is the superior kind, for all practical purposes.
Almost all men who are successful with women assume that most women are flirting with them, and that most women are attracted to them. Technically “right or wrong” doesn’t matter, because this mindset works. It produces results.
As long as you don’t get too intense or needy with women, the mindset where you assume attraction eventually leads to success.
In fact, if you assume attraction, why act needy or intense at all? Everybody wants you, baby, so chill out, and take your pick…
Here’s an interesting ‘hit’ with the doctor last yesterday: Last night my fiance’ and I went for a walk around the neighborhood because it was so gorgeous out. We ran into my doctor while he was outside cutting his grass, so we stopped to chat with him for a while. All three of us were very chatty. We talked longer and more in depth than we ever have, and we learned a lot about him that we never knew before. Now he will be sailing with us this summer. -My fiance invited him.
No. There was no flirting. But my doctor seemed really happy to be talking with me. I stood about two to three feet away from him, and my fiance was on the other side of me, about an equal distance away, and there was little or no breeze. Both of the guys could very well have been under the influence of my pheromone cloud.
Here is what I put on. About two hours before the walk: 3 sprays Instant Sexiness, 15 mcg of TAH, 2 sprays IO, 1 spray IH, 4 drops Lust After Me, with a cover scent of Amber Oudh. Right before the walk, I decided to reapply the mones more heavily. So, I put on, 5mcg TAH, 2 Instant Sexiness, 1 spray each of IO and IH, and two more drops of LAM. Overkill? Well, I figured we would be outside, so I could get away with a heavier application. And I wanted to see what would happen if we ran into anyone.![]()
And yes, my fiance and I happened to be very busy last night in the bedroom.![]()
Body language is fascinating. I once read on a book on the subjuct, and found it very interesting to observe people after that. You can learn a lot more from a person by watching their body language than you can from what they may actually be saying.
I have to say, I completely understand that you want/ed him to just sort of respond to you in a flirting mode as I have this little 3 day crush on a man I met at my company’s conference I just attended. And I found out that he is married etc. (wasn’t wearing a wedding band!) But still, I just want him to find me intriguing! Not that I want to DO anything. He’s married! It’s all a compliment, after all!
April
April, I love the way you bring these threads back after they’ve “simmered” a bit. I think flirting is about attraction and appreciation - not sex. While sex can very naturally follow attraction and appreciation, it’s not always appropriate or comfortable for it to do so, and what a shame to not be able to flirt with someone (basically give them a big compliment, like you mention) because it might be interpreted the wrong way. On a really good day when I am happy and feel most like myself, I find myself flirting with men, women, flowers, puppydogs, the world. Flirt with a baby sometime - nothing better than that - and it has nothing to do with sex. Also note that babies and children of both sexes are natural born flirts. This is how we started.
But there is this heavier thing that runs underneath it all for grown men and women that again, any sign of attraction or appreciation is permission or an invitation to advance to sex. There’s a lot of fun energy in-between, but men do tend to be goal oriented which has its advantages but not in this particular situation. Perhaps all these men becoming more socially aware is the answer, the question is, if you are a man, would you prefer no acknowlegdement of your deliciousness if wasn’t going to lead to sex? If you’re a woman, do you suppress your natural inclination to flirt or be attractive for fear of being misunderstood or labeled a slut?
Also, it worries me when I read men assessing body language as invitations to something more. It just makes me more self-conscious. Right now I’m sitting here with my legs crossed and my foot pointing toward the wall, but there is no one else here and I’m not having a desire to boink the wall, firm and upstanding as it is, lol.
For me, it is no longer about the labels (thank god that part is mostly done) other than the nasty ones I stick on myself - but the misunderstood part still looms. It seems like we are missing out on all this fun. There should be more flirting for the sake of flirting, the natural play of energy, if you ask me. Of course never is it more exhilarating than with an undercurrent of sexual tension - but I think we make it all too morally heavy and outcome based. It’s only natural to want to flirt with what (or who) attracts you. And it is a compliment.
I like to flirt on occasion, but I also just like to “interact” with others, male of female, in a way to just brighten their day a bit, bring some laughter to it. A comment, a smile, a gesture/action. It was said, I think insome PUA lit, that people have a tendency to lead rather boring lives on a day to day basis, and anything that breaks that boredom can be a welcome relief, even if it’s not “good.” There are times when I welcome a jam in the paper feed on the folding machine, or when the cat knocks over a pile of stuff, etc., just because it breaks the monotony. A “pleasant” xperience is preferable, but sometimes anything will do…
How perfectly put! It’s because we’re in these cog trances of dull lives SO much of our days! Wake us up and shake us up a little!
All the best,
April
