In July and in August I will be taking two plane trips, long ones, from Hawaii to Boston and back.
I have been searching and reading the info on traveling with pheros here on this forum, (including wonderful info from OooYahh), but need to figure out a plan to fit my particular situation.
The longest I will stay in Boston each time is maybe a week, at the most.
I was hoping to just bring a carry on, and not check anything in the luggage, but from what I’ve read, it might be better just to check it.
As a still relatively new user, I also need to figure out what basic, most essential pheros, or phero mixes, should come along with me.
The main things I will need phero support for will be:
Traveling to the mainland after not leaving Hawaii for awhile can extremely wierd. Here, people are really friendly, warm and real (for the most part). After experiencing that, the people in other places seem cold and mean and scary. Their faces appear pinched and cruel, everyone looks as though they just ate lemons, or they look kind of like this It makes me think of that old Doors song, “Peaple are Strange”. Although I actually did live on the East Coast for a few years, this experience can be a bit traumatizing. I will need to bring something to counteract this and make this trip less stressful. (any suggestions welcome!)
If I do see my “ex bf”, I do not want to be bitter and angry to him, though I really do feel bitter and angry. I would like to leave him wondering why he was stupid enough to so casually just let me go, especially after how close we were, and after all that we’ve been through (there was no reason, nothing bad happened between us) (any suggestions welcome!)
I have not yet made mixes by mixing pheros together in one container, I have only made them by spraying from different bottles.
I wouldn’t mind just bringing my whole collection (which isn’t that huge yet, and mostly consists of To-Go bottles), but apparently they just “take things” at the airport security, according to my reading.
This has been my experience every time I’ve traveled. I’ve never had trouble, in any form, tranporting pheromones. They’re not illegal. They’ve never been questioned, confiscated or stolen. My fear is always that they’ll lose my luggage and then I’ll be without any pheromones! I can’t have that so I always carry a few on board, in my purse, in the requisite plastic baggie. The rest go in with my toiletries and that goes in my checked luggage.
Well, depending how many pheromones you have you could take them all , especially if they’re to-gos. Without knowing what you have in your arsenal… you’ll need friendly social ones. Instant Shine, Instant Openness…perhaps some Instant Female Magic (that would be useful for self effects as well).
For the ex-BF…MX135, P86, cops…and a fabulous sexy dress.
If I were you I wouldn’t risk it SK… I travel alot and whilst you’re going domestic and not international I have found the US customs to be amongst the most anal ones you can find
It’s not not allowed to bring any clear liquids as carry on (at least not on international flights)…they even confiscate water bottles so I’d say if they find your lovely goddies with strange Mx777 codes on the bottles…they’d be gone
Not to contradict you Xiphoid but I’ve flown out of the US four times in the last two years and never had a problem. The last time I took twenty, that’s right, twenty to-gos with me. I even took three 30ml bottles because I ran out of to -go bottles. Four of the to-gos went right into my purse, in the plastic bag, as they always do and I sailed right through customs NP…every time. Of course, that’s just my personal experience traveling with pheromones.
If you’re extremely worried, Kitty, you can always transfer the pheromones into nondescript containers and label them as you would perfumes.
Bella, did you have them in their original containers (mine are mostly To-Go’s) or did you put them in “anonymous looking” containers, as I’ve read that some people do?

My next order, so far, will contain:

and I’m still trying to decide which other ones, there are so many, and I want to try them all (I’m an adventurous girl!)
I leave them in their original containers and I fill a few other to-gos and label them. I cover the labels with tape, just to be sure, in case they leak (don’t wanna ruin the labels) …and also tape the tops closed. Then I wrap ‘em in bubble wrap and tape that shut and put it in my toiletry case along with perfumes and all the other goop I’m takin’ with me. Though dispensing them into pretty spray containers, if you’re concerned, is a good idea.
When I carry them on board they go in a plastic quart sized baggie, once again, with any other liquid…like eye drops, nasal spray…
As to what to take…that is, if you can resist the temptation to take them all! I admit to being weak. So, are your trips business and/or pleasure? That could influence a choice or two.
If I remember correctly you love IS/B but don’t get so much bang out of MX135? Tell me, even though you don’t get the fabulous self effects a lot of us do get…do you get hits using it? Depending on what you’re trying to achieve and considering they’re all TAH based… I’d chose one of the following… IS/B, MX135 or TAH.
I’d take IS/A (MX300 is MX134 in the new neroli. It’s also TAL based with light cops but I think it’s more suited for work with a heavy alpha-woman vibe. To me, IS/A is more sexy alpha-woman.)

So, do you wrap all your to-go’s in one piece of bubble wrap, then put it in the only quart sized baggie that’s allowed? It says that we have to remove the quart sized baggie from our carry-on, so do they not wonder about the bubble-wrapped thingie?
I know, maybe I’m being a little anal (I hate that word) but I don’t want to worry about this at the last minute.
I think you must be thinking about someone else who loves their IS/b, I need to give mine more play, so far I only wore it a little, right before bed, because it makes my kitty more likely come and sleep by me at night
My trips aren’t business…I just need to go and get a young’un who is not quite old enough to travel alone, and bring him back for the summer, then return him before school starts. I may or may not see the ex-bf, we’ll see.
I’m still in the learning phase of the pheros and which ones I like best, and what combos are best. All those p’s and experimones, I just got last week, but haven’t really tested them too much yet, since I’ve been doing the blind testing.
Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I took 20 to-go bottles. I wrapped up four to-gos in a piece of bubble wrap (so, three packs of four bottles) and tucked them into my toiletry case, which I then packed in the same suitcase with my clothes, that I checked in. The other four to-gos…
…are the ones I carry on board the plane in my purse. I don’t bubble wrap those. I just plop them in the required plastic baggie along with any other small containers of liquid I want to take on board the plane with me.
So what I’m saying is the majority of the pheromones I travel with are in my checked in luggage. I carry just a few on board the plane with me to reapply during my travels and to insure I’ll have some pheromones if my luggage should decide to take a trip of it’s own. It’s actually happened to me twice.

That’s OK, you still have plenty of time to individually test the new stuff you’re getting before you leave on your trip. That way you’ll get a better understanding of what each one does before you start combining them.
I feel much better about it now, and am much more mentally prepared (I’m already figuring out, in my mind, what to pack, etc) even though I do have like 3 months, lol
And I’m sure by then I will know much more about which are my faves
